Ryota took a deep breath before he stepped through the curtain to head down to the ring. He had joined LAW very recently and tonight was the night of his first match with the company. The way she treated the ring announcer was definitely uncalled for. But Ryota didn’t have much time to dwell on it as his opponent finally came out from the back.

Ryota’s heart skipped a beat as he beheld his opponent. The Ukrainian woman was an absolute stunner. She looked more like a supermodel or an actress than a wrestler. Though if what her secretary said was true, the woman was a formidable competitor with an impressive record.

“It’s nice to meet you, Kateryna. Maybe you do have the experience advantage, at least in wrestling. But don’t think that means you can walk all over me!” Ryota tried to clear his mind of any distractions. Right now he needed to focus on the task at hand. He just had to remember his training and he was sure to be fine.

It was clear that Ryota's opponent was not taking him seriously. She was obviously very confident in her chances of victory. Ryota wasn't going to let it get to him though. If anything, her underestimating him would work to his advantage.

Once the two competitors were in their corners the bell rang to start the match. Ryota slowly stepped out of his corner but K.K. made no move to leave hers. He didn't know what she was thinking but if she wasn't going to take the initiative then he would. Ryota ran forward to launch a running knee strike at her.

The match would start, and the youn Ryota would start to immediately run and attempt to launch a flying knee at the start of the match. Ryota ran forward building up speed and momentum to put into his opening move. Hitting his opponent with it would likely leave her quite dazed and give him control of the match early on. Unfortunately for Ryota though, the attack would never hit its mark. Right when he leaped up for the flying knee K.K. lifted her leg and caught him with a kick to the face. Ryota’s eyes widened as it was too late to change course and he could do nothing to avoid the kick that knocked him out of the air and sent him falling to the canvas.
