Dan had never been in a PPV match before and he was feeling a bit... off. Not nervous, not anxious but the gravity of everything was hitting him. He never thought as a trainer he would turn into an active competitor but sure enough it happened. He felt that if he went out on a big stage and blew it he would let down Irelia and Alaina who both worked with him to make him better.

Dan had his usual attire on, and Irelia had given him a big robe to wear with his name in gold across the back. It wasn't his usual style but for something like this he was going to wear it. Irelia went out of her way to get it for him so that was enough for him to wear it by itself. He took a deep breath in the back and as he was announced he came out into the arena. He held his arms out and walked as the crowd cheered. He hoped that the cheers came because of who he was as opposed to who he was related to or about to marry. Still he was all smiles and trying to soak it all in.

Danny entered the ring and tossed his robe aside, pointing out to the crowd before settling into his corner waiting for Gloria to arrive. He couldn't lose to her for the first time on a big stage like this, no way. He would never live it down. He was here, and now he had to focus and win.

It was finally time. In a small and lonely locker room there was Sophia, sitting down on the bench tapping her foot thinking with her hands pressed against her chin as she thought back to how it all started between her and Danny. Ever since Sophia was a little girl, she and Danny despite getting along always wrestled each other whenever they met and every time they did, Danny came out on top. It always infuriated Sophia every time she lost considering how in her school, she was top of the female wrestling team so to always lose to the same person made her think she wasn't good enough or maybe she was getting fluke victories when she competed back then. Today however was a different story. Ever since than Sophia has gone from America to Europe to Mexico to Japan and won belts in all of them, she knows she can win. So, when she arrived in LAW and was able to compete in the Undercard for this event, she knew who her opponent had to be or else she wouldn't be able to live herself is she didn't make the challenge. Now here she was about to have the first of many PPV matches in her time at LAW and whatever doubt she could have had is replace with the utmost confidence that tonight she'll be the one walking away as the victor between the two family members. Soon enough a backstage hand would open the door and said." Miss Star it's your turn." They said softy with Gloria merely grinning her teeth with excitement."Be right there." She spoke softy with a confident aura as she stood from her bench and put on the finishing touches for her entrance today before she walked out to the gorilla.

AND HIS OPPONENT.... ALL THE WAY FROM WASHINGTON DC.... STANDING IN AT 6'2 inches AND WEIGING IN AT 210 POUNDS..... SHE IS AMERICA'S NUMBER ONE SUPERHERO..... GLORIA STAR!!!!!!!!

With that Gloria's theme blasted through the arena but before she came out the titantron played a short video. Two fighter jets crossing each other's paths with one having white and red smoke come out with the other blue and white before both went Daigle across each other with Gloria slowly being revealed standing ontop of a fighter jet in the middle and with everyone's attention focused on that all were in shock and aw as Gloria stood at the top of the entrance ramp as when the video finished the spot lights came down on her and her special PPV entrance attire!

Yep, there she stood striking her signature but confident pose as she had her hands firmly on her hips shooting a confident glare down to Danny in the ring. The difference this time was her stomach area had a gold plate wrapped around as well as red with gold trimming gauntlets on both of her wrists as her cape was waving behind her. After a moment Gloria nodded her head down closing her eyes before saying. "Alright... Let's go!" She let out as in a flash she raised on fist up to then pound it on the entrance ramp signaling for pyrotechnics bursting out much to the audience's delight. On her way down Gloria pulled her arms out letting her cape fall back a bit taking inspiration from her aunt and wanting to show off her impressive figure by flexing her biceps for the world to see. This was Gloria's first LAW event as such she wanted to soak it all as she walked down slowly taking in the Roman arena as she pointed to fans in the attendees since given the arena's shape she couldn't give out high fives so what she had happened was the next best thing. Every time she pointed to something a spotlight rained down them much to their delight giving this superhero a happy smile across her face. One of them however just so happened to be none other but Alaina's husband Charlie who was there with his kids as well as Tina Armstrong and Irelia Xu with Gloria sending a wink to her family in attendances. While the blondes parents sat in the row as Alaina's family cheering on their daughter bringing a warm smile to the superhero.

That was all until she was in front of the ring. From there Gloria climbed up the steel steps and before getting in she dusted her boots and carefully removed her gauntlets and removing the pins off her cape to be given to a ring hand to take care off before ducking through the ropes. Before facing off with Danny she climbed up the top turnbuckle as she raised a fist high into the air with her pointer finger sticking out as she let out with a confident girl. "THE STAR OF JUSTICE IS HERE!!!!" She rang out as she leaned forward off the top rope land on the mat of the arena for a classic superhero landing! "Sorry if I overdid it." She chuckled dusting herself off as she now was face to face with her cousin Danny Haines. To make sure the crowd couldn't figure out they were related Gloria began to twist her neck giving it a gentle crack nonchalantly as she gestured for a microphone. "Daniel Haines. You may come from a prestigious family in the wrestling hold. And believe me when I say I have nothing but the utmost respect for Alaina. She is the woman's wrestler of not just this decade or generation but this century and I pray that before she retires, I can have a match with her or even tag with her but...." Gloria started off changing her tone to a more stern but respectful tone of voice while stopping off before her stopping herself to get the audience's to lean in on what she had next to say. "Before I can face the woman who inspired me and plenty other girls who want to be wrestlers not just in this company or even the stadium but in this entire world I have to do one thing...." Gloria continued pointing back at the gorilla and even to be in attendances to empathize her point before turning all the way back to Daniel."I want to face off with one of her kin to prove I'm good enough and if I fail lose..." She stopped herself again gripping the mic as she closed her eyes looking like she was struggling to say as she gritted her teeth."THAN I WON'T EVER FACE HER IN THE RING!!!!" She let out into the microphone with everyone even Alaina's family gasping at Gloria's declaration. While it might be a bit too much Gloria was serious about winning this match against Daniel and if she lost after all the years, she spent training and traveling across the world and still fell short of victory how would she be able to face Alaina? After a moment of silence she took a deep breath and stood in a neutral position. "So Daniel. With that being said let's have a good clean match, shall we?" In almost an instant Gloria's personality and tone change to a more friendly and sportsman like demeanor as she extended her arm out for a firm handshake with younger Haines before the two were going to have the fight of their life with Gloria leaning in to say."Don't hold back just because I said that." She playfully teased but made sure it would be quiet enough so no one could hear.

Once they broke away Gloria would walk back to her corner bending forward with arms up to strike a classic starting pose ready for whatever Danny had in store for her today. The only question is can Gloria defeat Danny or come up short handed and never get the chance to face Alaina in the ring? Whatever happens we are about to find out.

Danny watched Sophia..err, Gloria come out full of pomp and circumstance. Of course she did. He couldn't help but smile as he shook his head trying to play it off like he wasn't impressed but in reality it was quite a spectacle to witness.

"Best flair for entrances in the family." Danny muttered to himself. He knew that Charlie, Anna and Carl ringside were thinking the same thing. Still, by virtue of growing up with them after his dad died he knew he was more a first son and older brother to the trio sitting ringside tha he was a nephew/cousin.

Also present was Tina, Alaina's protégé and damn fine wrestler in her own right as well as Irelia Xu, Danny's fiance. He really couldn't mess up this opportunity on this big of a stage with all them watching.

Unseen in all this was "Amazon" Alaina Sanders backstage in her locker room. She was watching intently and shook her head as Sophia spoke as if Danny was some gatekeeper leading to her. She was going to be glued to the TV for this match.

"We'll have a good match and I need to keep the win streak going. Sorry." Danny said quietly to Gloria once she was close enough. He made sure the cameras on them only saw a serious look on his face as he spoke. He knew the gimmick was important to Gloria so he worked to keep it up. Yes she was taller than Danny but he was still the biggest, muscle packed member of the family. He was going to show why his strength was making a name for itself entirely independent of his family ties.

The bell rang and Danny moved in to grapple with Gloria looking tondrove her back against the turnbuckle! He had Weight, and a lower center of gravity on his side. His stance and base were wide... physics was on his side as the bell rang!

While it may have seemed a bit over reactive for Gloria to make that short of declaration not just in front of her family members but also the world, there was a point to it. Gloria spent years on the indie circuit if she was able to win title after title and still came up short against Danny what would be the point in facing Alaina? Even despite her statement when the two family members were up close and personal Gloria didn't want Danny to hold back anything for a second against her because if he did Gloria wouldn't feel like she earned her victory over her relative. Thankfully it seemed Danny respected that settlement as Gloria leaned back and chuckled at his respond."Fair enough I suppose but now I get to see if you've been spending your time actually training or messing around with that pretty girl of yours." Gloria whispered back starting off cool and calm before leaning in to get one last tease out of her cousin giving him a tiny wink and nod pointing towards his future wife before heading back to her corner.

This was it, only seconds before the match would begin and Gloria couldn't help but have this burning feeling in her chest telling her that this would be a great match no matter the outcome. All that was left was for the bell to finally ring.

And with that the bell ringing signaled the start of the bout between two family members. Almost immediately Gloria's body tightened up as her eyes were laser focus on Danny as both of them closed in on the other locking in a classic grappling hold! "GRRR" Gloria let out her hands interlocked with that of her relative as she made her arms tighten trying to use all the strength she had in store her to push back as she could feel Danny slowly but surely pushing her back into the corner she just came from. Despite this bad predicament that wouldn't deter the number one superhero from having a confident look on her face she looked right she looked Danny dead in the eye of a grin. "Well I'll give you credit where credit is due Danny, you certainly are the strongest opponent I've faced....." Gloria broke the silence as she began to praise Danny as if they never met but purposefully dropped off her sentence as they were getting closer and closer to the turnbuckle."But I'm more than just big muscles!!!" Gloria let out with an excited grit as right before her back hit the turnbuckle she jumped up to have her legs stand on the bottom turnbuckle. Had she been successful she would tighten the grip they had on each over as she Gloria would push forward with an impromptu spear aiming to tackle Danny down to the mat not just looking to get the advantage but also a potential pinfall right before a minute had passed in this PPV match!

Danny was listening to Gloria talk as he forced her back. He still had it! However she also learned quite a bit it seemed. As he forced her back she used her perched position on the rope to spring Danny back landing atop the man in a pinning position!

"ONE!"

"Not today..." Danny said as he thrust up with force to break the pin. He rolled hard to the side pushing himself up to his feet knowing that Gloria would also be quick to rise. As they were up Danny ran in and leapt forward, his arm extended to try to crash into Gloria with a lariat! He wasn't going to hold back. He knew looking bad here would reflect poorly on everyone else who had helped him move from simple strength coach to in-ring competitor.

Gloria knew for certain that this maneuver wouldn't be enough to put Danny away for a full three count, but even so she had to do something to get to the lead in this match. So, there she was on the turnbuckle leaping forward with a grin across her face as she managed to send her cousin down as laid on top of him with her hands pressed against his arms to hold him down for the count as her long flowing hair dropped to the side. She shook her head as the ref got the first count but before her eyes twitched a bit panic upon hearing her cousins' words knowing what was going to happen next. "Not yet..." She thought to herself as she tried to apply more force on holding Danny down but it wasn't enough as he thrusted forward shaking Gloria off of him and rolling over to the side."I knew it had a chance of not working... but had I just applied a bit more pressure I could've held him down longer..." Gloria continued thinking to herself a bit frustrated as she rolled over onto the side near the ropes.

After letting out a sigh Gloria pulled herself up to a standing position and once she turned around she was in utter shock. Right then and there she saw Danny charging at her with his arm out going for a lariat. There was nothing she could do as she stood there frozen in shock before getting the windpipes knocked out of her as his arm collied with her stomach!"GUWAH!!!" She spat out as her eyes widen out and had her jaw drop a bit as her body bended forward a bit from the impact. Some people were also left gasping as that one of the first times in LAW Gloria was hit with something truly powerful. However, there may have been a silver lining to this, Gloria was sandwiched in between both Danny and the ropes meaning that even with the pain still circulating through her, Gloria may have a chance of a comeback. "You think... after one hit... I'm out..? Not a chance..."" Gloria breathed out with a grin on her face as despite how strong Danny was, Gloria was also a tank and knew just one lariat wouldn't be enough to put her away that easily. The blonde would aim to reach down and grab Danny's arm that was still on her stomach. Had she been successful the superhero would look up at Danny and say. "My turn...." She said confidently as Gloria pulled back her leg tightening it up only to send it out for a powerful knee strike right to his chest!

Danny's lariat wasn't the best aimed, having landed in Gloria's abdomen instead of her upper chest but before he could even think of doing any follow up he was smashed into the chest with a hard knee strike! He reared back and stumbled a few steps having the wind knocked out of him! She shook his head and cradled his chest in his arms as he was wide open for more follow up from Gloria. This was hardly the start he wanted in his first big match but she was taking it to him and he knew that trend was about to continue.

If there was one thing Gloria was tonight, it was most certainly prepared. Ever since they were kids, she knew how strong Danny was, boy was as strong as they come and if she was to take all of the hard-hitting blows, he could dish out than this superhero had be just as much of a tank as he was. When the lariat collied it was certainly strong but thanks to a combination of it hitting her well-toned abs instead of her upper chest it didn't hurt as much as it could have. Thanks to that, as well as them being up close with each other the superhero was able to make a comeback by sending a powerful knee strike straight to Danny's chest!

POWW!!!! That was the sound the audience heard as the star of justice fought through the pain to send Danny stumbling back having the wind ripped straight out of him. Almost on que Gloria raised her right arm in the air with her pointer finger sticking out. "Do you know what time it is people!?" Gloria turned around to the audience with an excited grin on her face playing up for the fans. IT'S TIME FOR JUSTICE!!!" Some audience members shouted being reminded of one of Gloria's catchphrases during her indie circuit days. With a big smirk her eye brows raised as she roared back. "THAT'S CORRECT!!!!" Gloria responded back as without missing a beat she turned around to push herself back on the ropes before using to propel forward towards Danny aiming to extend her arm out to land a lariat of her own straight to his chest!

Danny was already stunned and things were about to get worse for him. He staggered up and saw Gloria coming right at him and he couldn't move out of the way. He did his best to brace himself only to get smashed in the chest by a lariat that was far better placed with far better results. He crashed to the mat in a heap and groaned, rubbing his chest as he was laid out on the canvas. To say that things had started out in favor of Gloria was a bit of an understatement with Danny trying to figure out how to climb himself out of the hole he was in.
