"Everything packed for the trip? When's the flight again?"
Allison, seated on the bench inside the locker room, asked the woman in front of her, who was busy checking her phone. The raven-haired woman, clad in her wrestling was in the middle of lacing up her boots, her fingers working around like clockwork.
"Eyup. All set. An Uhh, I gotta bounce soon..." The blonde replied, her eyes not leaving the bright screen.
"Yes mom, I have my passport on me...C'mooon..where's the trust?" She grumbled, as she furiously typed into the device.
"Oh, now you want a visual proof ? Heelll naw, I ain't no baby! "
"Really? You are not a toddler when it comes to travelling? Tell me..where's your passport right now?" Allison finally looked up, an eyebrow raised, beckoning the blonde to answer.
"Y'all really think that less of me, don't you? Here it is..wait..where...? Nonononono...Ssshhhiittt!!" Elena's eyes widened with realisation, as she furiously patted herself all over. A cold sweat broke out from the side of her head.
"I swear I had it on me! It was...it was..in the drawer... nonono...on the couch...or on top of the nightstand.." Elena quickly empited the contents of her backpack onto the bench beside Allison to rummage around for the elusive item.
"Calm down, Ms.Walker...Take a deep breath. Meditate...try to focus, recollect the last place where you saw it..." Allison tried her best to suppress a snicker.
"Nooot Helping, Ford..." Elena muttered with clenched teeth, annoyance evident, but she did try it out.
"I remember it being on the dining table, before I put it in the drawer for safe-keeping... You saw me putting it there, right?" She had been staying with Allison for the past few days due to her own flat being flooded with water from a pipe malfunction.
"You're doing real well, it's coming.." Allison looked on, seeing Elena rack her brain real hard to try and come up with answers.
"Wait...I think I left it back in the apartment..." Elena's pupils dilated, mouth parted slightly having pieced it all together.
"There it is...that's top-class safe-keeping right there..." Allison tone's dripped with sarcasm, while wagging her index finger at nothing in particular.
"Fucking fuck....Damn it. Decide to go home for a few days, bags packed and would you know it, passport's all cozy in a motherfucking drawer....Shhhhittt...I can't go back to the flat. It's too far" Elena's nostrils flared up, a hand immediately pressed against her forehead, as she tried to calm herself down.
Allison looked at the clock, hanging above the doorway and rose up. She went past Elena to her locker and retrived something and strode back to tap the blonde's shoulder.
"Hmm?..Wha...How...I am relieved and pissed off at the same time." Elena held the, what's revealed to be the missing passport and sighed with relief.
"You have had sooo many 'Joey' moments when we travel that I have lost count. And since I have saved your rear again, You owe me a dinner after you return and money for my ride's gas as well... You can thank me later..."
"Hehe...You're lucky you've got a match right now, else I would have whooped your ass right now for the shit you pulled. You couldn't have given it to me BEFORE I crashed out, dipshit!?"
"I was generous this time around, but I will flush it down the toilet if you don't get your crap straight should you forget it again, alright? Right now, I got a fight to be in. You better be on your way, cuz I ain't gonna let you back in the apartment if you miss the flight..." Allison shrugged before turning on her heel to leave the room.
"Like heelll you won't! As your buddy since pre-LAW, I have got all the rights to mooch off of you as long as I see fit... What's yours, is mine, and what's mine is well, mine..." Elena let out a light chuckle and proceeded to smack the back of Allison's head as she turned away.
"But seriously though, bring the house down out there!"
"Owww!" Allison staggered a step forward and turned her head to the side to glance back at the blonde.
"That...I will. Now you get the heck outta here..."
Walking down the hallway into the Gorilla Position, putting on the jacket as she did. Allison's focused shifted to the main agenda of the night. The Double or Nothing Tournament. Today was her first match and she was keen to make an impression here. Her opponent Ellie Cooper had just entered the ring and looked determined to put on a performance.
Ellie looked like a bundle of energy, athletic and lithe and Allison was by no means going to take her lightly. Every match counted here and she was sure that Ellie was going to make things very difficult for the raven-haired woman.
Soon, it was time for her to come out and she did, with grace and poise that was synonymous with her entrances till now. Allison strutted out in a leisurely gait, the jacket concealing her attire and took a pause at the center of the stage to wander her gaze around, before strolling down the ramp at a languid pace, taking her time and interacting with the people.
As she would near the ring, A smirk formed over her lips, her hands reaching to part the jacket and reveal her two-piece attire, fit tight to show her curves and accentuate her figure. Her toned abs were pronounced in this outfit for all to see and she welcomed the reception to it all, walking up the steps to stand over the apron, facing the audience.
She would lean against the ropes in an arch with arms hooked over to flaunt her physique, her belly receiving more prominence, as if offering them on a platter for the people to ogle at and stood in that posture for a couple of moments. Allison definitely wasn't short of confidence and swagger, which was reflected in the way she carried herself, a teasing smirk playing over her lips. The woman was cetainly enjoying the attention.
The song started to ebb, and Allison made her way into the ring from in between the ropes and approached into her corner, took her jacket off and hung it against the outer ringpost. She had been hard at work for this tourney and wasn't keen to blow her shot so early. Her dark chocolate-brown eyes locked in, eyeing her opposite number, though not conveying hostility, but concentration as she limbered up.
The match official would signal both competitors to come forward, which Allison obliged, strolling to the centre and then would wait for her opponent to do the same.
