The Longest Climb: Maria Tempesta vs Momo Kazan

Maria groaned as she was flattened underneath Momo. A part of her tensed, instinctively expecting to be rolled up for a pin...that was, before she remembered that this wasn't this kind of match. All the same, Momo rolled off of her: internally, Maria braced herself for another attack. Another attack that never came: forcing one eye open, Maria saw that Momo was no longer taking her seriously as an opponent, instead standing on the middle turnbuckle to showboat to the crowd.

On the one hand, Maria felt more than a little insulted. On the other hand, she knew an opportunity when she saw one.

Forcing herself up to her feet, Maria grimaced, and then sprinted forwards. Hopefully, before Momo could even react, Maria would lash upwards with a diving kick, hoping to slam her boot right up between Maria's legs!

With Momo's performance in the match thus far giving her a perhaps unearned confidence she would make her way to the nearest ring post and climb atop it to showboat for the crowd. Momo didn't mean this as an insult to her opponent, rather she just prioritised making sure the crowd was having fun over all other things when she was in the ring, but Maria had taken it as an insult and that would spur her on regardless of Momo's intentions. In one moment the crowd was in delight at the babyfaces showmanship, but in the next they would suddenly start crying out warnings for Momo that the brunette noticed just a second too late before she felt Maria's attack without ever seeing it.

"Gyaaaagh!"

Pain shot up from Momo's crotch and spread throughout her entire body, forcing her to groan in agony as her hips rose from the force of Maria's foot thrusting into them. A second later Momo's legs would give out from underneath her, forcing her to lurch forward in a manner that would almost have seen her falling out of the ring if she hadn't managed to grab the ring post and cling to it like a Koala at the last second. Tears welled up in Momo's eyes as she felt the throbbing pain still pulsing through her, but she would fight through her anguish to push herself back up so that she was no longer in danger of falling; instead sat atop the turnbuckle facing away from the ring. More importantly she now had her back to a master Luchadora while in a prime position for a tope rope manoeuvre.

The crowd collectively winced as Maria's boot came crunching up between Momo's legs, causing the Japanese girl to fold over and nearly fall out of the ring. A chorus of boos came howling Maria's way; Maria extended her arms outwards and smiled, giving a theatrical bow to the audience even as she soaked in their hatred.

That was the thing about being a good heel, she knew: you had to make the audience really hate you, and the best way to do that was to show how much you enjoyed pissing them off.

As Momo clung to the turnbuckle, Maria climbed up its opposite side, yanking onto Momo's ponytail to keep her from falling and pull her up as well. "Where do you think you're going?" she taunted. "The fun is just starting, Chica!"

So saying, Maria, now standing on the highest rope of the turnbuckle, would use her grip on Momo's ponytail to shove her opponent's head between her thighs, clamping on a firm standing head scissor. For a few seconds, she would grind Momo's head between her thighs, trying to inflict discomfort and humiliation in equal measure.

And then, Maria would drop backwards, using her legs to fling Maria off the turnbuckle. If all went according to plan she would and up slamming the poor girl onto her back, and end up sitting astride her chest in a schoolgirl pin!

After a brutally precise kick to the crotch left her forced to cling to the ring post for dear life Momo was left a sitting duck atop the top turnbuckle, moaning in pain and face burning red from the embarrassing position she was forced into. With her young opponent not going anywhere anytime soon Maria would take the opportunity to rile up the crowd who were booing her for cheap shotting Momo, giving them a sarcastic bow that Momo would probably have laughed at herself had she not been busy gritting her teeth to stop herself from squealing.

While Momo was still trying to recover the use of her legs Maria would climb up the turnbuckle at her leisure before grabbing Momo by the ponytail, forcing a hiss of pain from the brunette as her head was guided between the Luchadora's thick thighs "Mmmph..." Momo moaned as her face was sandwiched between Maria's legs and grunted as the heel started grinding her thighs together to squeeze Momo's head; a position that probably would have felt quite pleasant had Maria not been exerting so much force. As it was though the position was quite uncomfortable and Momo would probably have been trying quite hard to escape were she not in such a perilous position, instead she was allowing Maria to do what she wished so that she wouldn't risk falling.

This compromising position would soon come to an end, but Momo wasn't too thankful for this as it was happening because she was being thrown off the turnbuckle! Maria threw herself back into the ring, taking Momo with her and sending the brunette back first onto the mat with a painful slam! "Gaaaaagh!!!!" Momo's scream of pain lasted only for a moment before Maria landed on her chest, driving the air from her lungs and trapping her body underneath the larger wrestler. This left Maria sitting on Momo's chest in a schoolgirl pin, a position that did nothing to move towards finishing the match but did succeed in making a dominant statement as Maria looked down on a groaning Momo whose eyes were half closed like she was ready for a nap. For sure a screenshottable moment.

And damn if it wasn't a screenshottable moment. Maria was actually looking forward to seeing this one floating around on Instagram after the match; win or lose, moments like these were what she lived for. Not that she had any intention of losing.

Leaning over the now downed Momo, Maria grinned and tapped teasingly at her cheek. "What's the matter, chica, uncomfortable down there?" she purred. "You know, I still haven't repaid you yet for that camel clutch earlier..."

Rolling off of Momo, Maria would use her boot to shove her onto her front, before grabbing one of her foe's feet. And then, without warning, she would drop down, using her legs to scissor Momo's free ankle while bending her leg upwards and back, twisting it sharply in her signature submission hold, the Alacran Diabolus!



"Normally, I would use this to get stupid girls like you to tap out," she purred as she glanced over at Momo, "but I think I'll lock this on you for a bit just to make you scream for a bit. How's that sound, hmmm?"

After getting slammed down onto the mat from the top turnbuckle Momo would be left pinned underneath Maria and forced to look up at her dominator, giving her an admittedly good view of the heel's body. This meant that when Maria teased her with a tap to the face Momo just kind of had to take it, though Momo being Momo she still felt the need to make a retort to the taunt "Nope, just ugh... peachy..." she moaned.

With Momo still feeling sluggish from the impact of Maria's slam she would be slow to react as Maria grabbed her feet and started locking in her submission hold, and before she could really do anything about it Momo's lower body would be raised off of the mat and her leg would get agonisingly wrenched in Maria's signature "AAAAAAH! LET GO! LET GO! LET GOOOOO!!!" Momo would plead, likely to no avail given the nature of the woman that had her at her mercy.

The pain in Momo's leg was unbelievable and this time Momo couldn't stop herself from screaming as she desperately clawed at the mat to gain purchase, but with her legs suspended in the air there was no way she could possibly move all the way to the ropes. The situation was dire and Momo was even starting to feel tempted to tap out, but that wouldn't even help! All Momo could do was wait until Maria had had her fill of tormenting her, and if that was bad enough the brunette couldn't even make light of the situation by making a wisecrack "Aaaaaaah! L-let... aaaaah!"

Maria grinned as her Alacran Diabolus left Momo screaming and hollering. "That's it, chica," she purred, "just keep screaming. You'll be doing a lot more of that once I snap your leg like a twig. Of course...you could always just tap." She paused then, and made an expression of sudden realization. "Ohhhh, that's right! Victory by submission isn't allowed for this match! I CAN'T make you tap! I'm so forgetful!"

Still holding on to Momo's leg, Maria would stand back up to her full height. "Well, I guess I don't need this anymore," she said, before slamming Momo's leg down knee-first against the mat, punishing the Japanese girl's leg even further. "Oopsie! I'm so clumsy!" she taunted, eliciting even more boos from the audience as she demonstrated more of her heelish tactics.

With Momo being subjected to Maria's hold whose name she wasn't certain she could pronounce properly the brunette could do nothing but scream in pain as her leg was tortured in the heel's grasp, which only served to please Maria and anger the audience. With no ability to use her lower half there was nothing Momo could do as Maria rose up to her feet, rising Momo's legs high enough that she was almost lifted off the mat; which actually somewhat alleviated the pressure on Momo's legs, though in a few moments that would cease to matter.

Before Momo could possibly figure out what Maria had planned for her the heel would slam her leg down harshly on the mat, sending a jolt of pain throughout her lower half that forced another scream out of the young fighter "AAAAAAAAAH!!!" Momo clutched her hurt knee and started rolling around at the mat in pain by Maria's feet, feeling tears starting to form in the corners of her eyes. The audience winced at the sight, especially Momo's fans who found the scene painful to watch.

Momo was now rolling around on the mat, screaming in pain as she clutched her hurting leg. Just as Maria had more or less intended. The fact that the fans were booing her meant she got to be that much more of a heel now, a fact that she really didn't mind. It was actually kind of a bonus, really. She made a play of shrugging to the fans. "What? It was an accident, I swear!" she lied.

Turning back to her foe, Maria yanked a handful of Momo's hair to pull her back to her feet. The moment she did so, she would spin, aiming to hammer a snap kick into Momo's head in order to daze her; if she did that then she would immediately run to the ropes and come bouncing back, aiming to leap up, press a boot against Momo's chest to build momentum, and propel herself upwards further to stomp another boot directly into the poor girl's face in a brutal show of acrobatic skill!

With Momo's leg being viciously tortured by Maria, first from her submission hold and then from the leg being bashed into the mat, the brunette was left laying helplessly on the mat trying to nurse her leg. This act of cruelty against a beloved babyface earned Maria the ire of the fans, which the heel didn't mind at all judging from her behaviour as she teased the fans further. Before Momo could really think about starting to recover she would be ruthlessly grabbed by the ponytail and yanked up to her feet, forcing a pained grunt as she was forced to stand on her sore leg "Nnngh..."

With Momo left standing in a daze she was unable to dodge as Maria kicked her in the head, sending Momo stumbling back as she struggled to keep her balance as stars danced in her vision. It would soon turn out that she would have been better off letting herself fall however, when Maria came back and used her chest as a launch pad to kick Momo in the face, sending her crashing back down to the mat with a pained scream. It had been a pretty impressive feat of agility in all fairness, though Momo hadn't exactly appreciated it "Owwwww..."
