Asuka was back in the LAW arena for the second time since her big redesign. She sat in the locker room and stared at the mirror, smiling at herself as she heard the roaring audience and Aoi's music blaring just down the hall in the arena itself. That sound had essentially punctuated her time with LAW, and every time she heard it, she felt an incredible warmth and delight.
A knock at the door about two minutes later let her know that it was time for her to go out, and Asuka stood up from the bench and wandered out to the top of the ramp. The lights went out, the announcer declared her arrival, and the lights popped back on along with Asuka's theme song exploding over the speakers. Asuka stepped out into the light and gave a bright, wide smile, her cheeks flushing red at the sight of some of the posters the fans had brought out.
She excitedly ran down the ramp, waving in both directions with her hands raised high in the air above her, and then slid into the ring to meet Aoi. The girl was shorter and slimmer even than Asuka, who wasn't particularly tall to begin with. Still though, Asuka had beaten opponents taller or heavier than herself before, so didn't think much of it.
"Kon'nichiwa!" she called out and waved.
Asuka was dressed in a blue & yellow sports bra with matching loose short-shorts, laid over a set of skin-tight black bike shorts that were barely longer than the yellow ones. Her elbows and knees were protected by blue pads, detailed with yellow thunderbolts on their faces, her hands were covered with some padded MMA-style gloves, and her feet & shins were protected by matching kickpads. Most notably, she had no boots!
