Match Type: Dirty South Saddle Match
Victory Conditions: One wrestler must hogtie the other and smother them unconscious to achieve victory.
It had been some time since Claire McAllister had been in the LAW ring. The southern blonde, intensely popular even despite a rocky record, had been on something of a break, as she had been away from the ring while back home in the southern United States, with her absence leaving a hole where the beloved cowgirl normally was. But tonight was the long awaited return, and the crowd was in an uproar as they awaited the returning darling, eager to see the what she had been working on while taking time off, and Claire was ready to show them! They wouldn't need to wait very long either, as before too much time had passed, the spotlights would be directed to the top of the ramp, where a familiar blonde face would appear, sporting a fancy new set of wrestling gear and a new hairdo, but with all the same southern charm that she had come to be known for!

"Howdy y'all! Did ya miss me?!" Claire hollered to the crowd, waving with both arms as she greeted the fans, who greeted her back with cheers and whistles and general cries of eagerness to see her return! The cowgirl was just as happy to be back, and as she walked to the ring she'd stop frequently to reach out and touch hands with the fans in attendance, before returning to her stride down to the ring! Upon reaching it she'd quickly hop up onto the ramp, slipping between the ropes and entering inside, whipping her hat off to wave it in the air for a moment, returning it to her head as soon as she was done!
When all was finally said and done, Claire would finish with a few last waves to the stands, before turning and planting her feet in the center of the ring, smiling as she gazed up to the top of the ramp, where her opponent would soon be appearing! Whoever it was, she'd meet them in the center of the ring, more than ready to show off the southern charm that had made her such a darling in the first place!
Here it is. Black Severin's first main event on the regular show. His first main event, period. At least on a live event in an LAW arena: His match with Arlise Christiaens was technically considered one for that week's episode of After Dark, but they were in their own space for that one. This was different. The energy here was something else.
The masked man didn't miss those boos and jeers that were sent his way after Claire's music died down, before he even came out. It wasn't overwhelming. Didn't even make up the majority of the noise the crowd made for him. But it was what he's observed to be the norm in intergender matches here: Most of the support usually goes to the ladies. But given that they didn't straight-up switch to a chorus of the stuff -- and they were in Claire's home field here in the south -- he knew he was doing things right.
Reading comments was one thing. It was quite another to hear it. It was invigorating.
And it helped that he'd employed the talent of a duo of country rappers: Henry and Levi, the

Friends of Ryan's who switched to music after leaving their careers as professional wrestlers. The two had gotten caught up in the party culture of the sport. The booze and the drugs. After one bad encounter with the law too many, they decided that it was time for a change. The boys went to rehab, started putting their focus on a creative outlet, and here they are now, preparing for a performance to bring Severin out.
They were doing decently as independent artists, but were still on the search for their big break. After he learned who he'd be facing, Terrell reached out to them with an idea that could help them out...
"Nashville, Tennessee!" As the bigger voice of the two, Henry was always the one to reach out to the people. "Stand up!"
While he did that, Levi did the whistling, and Black Severin appeared not far behind them, donning
just for this match, arms raised in the position of a cowboy holding the reins, his walk representing a slow ride through. Aside from helping the Parrish Boys out, the only reason he had for doing something extra in his entrance tonight was "Why not?" Seemed like a fun thing to do, and maybe it'd help him stand out.
"And her opponent, standing at five-foot-eight and weighing in at one hundred and eighty-five pounds, fighting out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Blaaaack Severiiiin!"
Eventually, the younger Parrish brother started the song off proper, with both of them stepping to the side to allow Severin to take point.
"♩ Yeeeah, I'm gonna take my horse through the Old Town Road, I'm gonna riiiide 'til I can't no more! I'm gonna take my horse through the Old Town Road, I'm gonna riiiide 'til I can't no more! ♩"
"♩ I got the horses in the back. Horse tack is attached. Hat is matte black, got the boots that's black to maaatch! Ridin' on a horse? Ha! You can whip your Porsche! I been in the valley, you ain't been up off that porch, now! Can't nobody tell me nothiiiin'! ♩"
The brothers, each taking a side, held up their mics to let the crowd sing along. Severin kept his focus on the camera in front of him. "♩ You can't tell me nothiiiin'! ♩"

from there. By the time he reached the ring, he'd won over his share of the crowd, even managing to turn some of those boos around.
It's been too long since he had a good dance in an arena. He had a lot of fun in his matches in those private locales, but he missed this. It's good to be in a ring again.
A smile and a tip of his matte black hat would act as a silent howdy to the blonde waiting for him in the center. After removing it and leaving it to the side, with the bandana around his neck following suit, he'd join her there, standing tall and ready.
Waiting patiently for her opponent's entrance, Claire had fund that it would take only a couple more moments after her own had concluded before the man she'd be facing tonight would be making his own, as the spotlight moved to the top of the ramp to queue him in! And boy, it certainly was quite the entrance. Apparently Severin didn't feel like doing anything halfway, as he would bring two musical artists to accompany him down to the ring, all to a rendition of a very popular country song being performed live! It was all... a lot, if Claire were being totally honest, and far showier than anything that she had expected, but it seemed to be quite the show for the crowd, and eventually it would do the job that it was mean to do, as Severin would eventually arrive in the ring and stand across from Claire, removing his bandana and his hat before moving to stand in front of her, providing them with a brief moment together!
"Quite the entrance. But I hope ya don't think singin' songs and wearin' a cowboy hat is gonna make ya a wrangler. Takes a whole lot more than that before yer a certified cowboy!" Claire teased, a smirk on her face as she chided Severin, though it was clear she wasn't being too hard on him in actuality! She was far too sweet to cause an issue with another wrestler, especially one so keen on entertaining the crowd!
However, it was only a matter of time before the two would have to go at one another, so Claire would flash him a wink as she slowly slid away and back to her corner of the ring, the curvy cowgirl turning into the corner and beginning a few light stretches as she prepared for the match! She would do so as Severin either did the same, or perhaps enjoyed the view that her attire provided him while facing away, but either way, she'd look to ready herself, as once he was ready, they would be starting the match against one another!
Severin gave his broad shoulders a playful shrug and chuckled. "Couldn't help it. It's been way too long since I've been in a proper ring. Had to come back in style." He took another step forward, meeting her smirk with one of his own as he stood defiantly against her. Face-to...No, it was more like chest-to-face. Being the bigger competitor by such a wide margin wasn't something that's happened to him often, but it was always an interesting twist to the masked man who was once a skinny, nerdy boy. Always the David versus a Goliath.
"I've done a lot of learning on how to tame a wild thing while I was away. You'll be seeing about it soon enough." Maybe a little cocky, but certainly not arrogant. He considered moonwalking away as the two gave each other space, but...nah. His entrance was showy enough as it is.
And speaking of a show, her choice of clothing sure gave him a good one when she turned away. He knew what she was doing, but what the hell, he'll nibble on that hook. Just a nibble, like a mouse that knows there's a loud, deadly snap waiting on that piece of wood with food on it. No reason he can't enjoy the show and limber up at the same time. At one point, he'd use the turnbuckle to hold a leg up at an angle, adding some deliberation to his preparations with a show of his flexibility. He'd watched the pounds carefully through his ascension to the Heavyweight class, aiming to sacrifice as little as he could. He wanted to stay limber. Retain his agility. One eighty-five seemed like a good point to stop.
After giving the other leg a good stretch, he went to meet Claire in the middle of the ring again, settling into a stance as the referee's discerning eyes shifted between the two to measure their readiness. The moment she stepped back and signaled for the bell, he burst into the mission with a swiftness belying his size, looking to make good use of his musculature to force her back into her corner to start this thing off strong.
Greeting Severin as he entered the ring, Claire was able to get a good look at her opponent, a man with quite the size difference from herself, when the two of them would share a quick but friendly interaction in the center of the ring! If nothing else, Severin was quite confident in himself, though Claire could always appreciate some lighthearted trash talk to get the fans excited for the match, and as they separated to wait for the bell, she'd get one last chance to throw some love to the fans! A few light waves here and there, before she'd turn around and begin stretching, Claire would find her opponent doing the same, some last minute preparations before the bout would begin in earnest!
Once both wrestlers seemed ready, however, they would move back to the center of the ring, Claire walking up with a smile on her face as she faced the much larger man, and after the referee would signal for it, the bell would sound! The bout officially beginning, and as it did, Severin took immediate action as he surged forwards to meet the blonde cowgirl with a sudden lockup!
Claire let out a grunt as her large opponent came into contact with her, immediately pressing her backwards! But the cowgirl would plant her feet on the mat, and after gathering herself, she looked to show Severin that if there was one thing that she had in spades, it was strength!
"Yer gonna have... to do better than that!" Claire grunted before suddenly shifting forwards, looking to switch her grip from up around Severin's shoulders to around his waist, looking to wrap her arms around his center as she did so! And if she managed to get a good grip, the lightweight cowgirl would look to pluck his feet off the canvas in a surprise show of her might, and charge him towards the corner for the brief period she had before he realized what was happening!
She stopped him. With nothing but pure power, she stopped him.
After the match he had with La Dama De Loba, with whom he was on the smaller end of a similar weight difference, he really shouldn't have been surprised at this. And yet there he was, his eyes going as wide as saucers. The man was so stunned, he couldn't react until Claire had already slipped around and wrapped her arms tight around him.
But not so much that he forgot where he was in the ring. When she lifted him up and he wasn't immediately going flying, he knew what time it was. His legs were raised and ready, his hands prying at hers. When his feet touched the ropes, he pushed out with his legs, powering his way out of the hold and sending his body flying back in an arc with an impressive flip. Severin hit the mat running, over to the far set of ropes. Bounced off, then went low with a chop block. A
With Severin starting the match using a high octane charge, Claire would be left to play defense as she stood directly in his path, planted her feet, and met him head on, letting him collide with her and grabbing hold of him as he did, stopping him from moving straight forward! It was impressive to watch the small blonde completely halt Severin's charge, but what was even more impressive was when she slipped around him, and grabbing hold of his waist tightly, she would yank him right up and off of his feet! Watching her heft the man up was already something itself, but she would begin to walk him over towards the edge of the ring, carrying the struggling wrestler with her! Claire wore a smile on her face the entire time she did so, feeling quite good about her impressive feat, but as they reached the edge of the ring, Severin would pull out another trick for her!
The moment that his legs touched the ropes, Claire would be surprised by the sudden feeling of his weight shifting backwards, rolling over her shoulder, and she staggered back as she attempted to keep a hold on him! However, the big man had surprised her, and so Claire would lose hold of him and allow him to drop behind her, before he would spring back off the ropes, headed straight for her!
"What the- UUGH!" Claire let out a yelp as a sudden weight hit the back of her leg hard, and she would immediately drop down, sent to the canvas by the full force of Severin crashing into her! The blonde would let out a low groan as she clutched the back of her leg, slowly rolling over and trying to get back up to her feet, attempting to shake off the blow before Severin could capitalize!
Down she went, triggering some descent in the audience. Some were cheering him on, and others were booing him. Ever the pragmatist, at least for the moment, he kept his focus on the mission. His hands reached down for her vest and the back of Claire's chaps, found a solid grip, and hoisted her one hundred and twelve pound frame effortlessly off the mat, even giving her some air time.
Severin waited for the moment that her gut landed on his waiting, broad shoulder...
After having a strong start, completely overpowering Severin in a surprise showing, Claire was in the midst of hefting the masked man off of his feet when her strategy would go awry, as Severin would manage to get his foot on the ropes and push off, flipping behind her! After that, the weight that slammed into the back of her legs would bring her crashing down onto the mat with a hefty thud, quite a fair amount of pain suddenly able to be felt in her leg where he had hit her, but that was the least of her worries! The cowgirl would suddenly feel his hands grabbing hold of the back of her chaps and her vest, before she was slung off the ground and tossed clean into the air, Severin getting ready underneath her to catch the falling blonde!
"Oh no ya don't!" Claire cried as she fell, just enough of a head on her shoulders to recognize the incoming danger and do something about it, as she looked to wrap an arm around Severin's head as she fell down towards his body! And once she had secured him within her grasp, she would swing her whole body backwards, looking to take advantage of her falling momentum and swing her opponent down to the mat with a DDT!
It was a simple plan: Catch her, then ram her into the turnbuckle. But there's a saying about the best laid plots of mice and men. Well, several, actually. Even Mike Tyson got in on it. And here, those sayings were all true.
But Severin wasn't getting away with a punch in the mouth. Oh, no. The air time he gave her was promptly used against him, in the form of a head spike from a stiff DDT. Right on the crown of his skull, with only the thickness of his dreads to act as padding against a mat that wasn't as forgiving as it looked. It wasn't much. Wasn't anything, really.
The crowd winced with a loud, collective "OHHHH!!!" as he bounced off the mat and onto his ass. His mind had been emptied of everything but pain, but his body, quite fresh, was still able to rise, however unsteadily. On pure instinct; he knew on that level that he had to get up, but for the moment, he wasn't aware of much else.
