Bengal's keen ears picked up Celina's low moan, along with the faint notes of pleasure in the Phoenix's voice. "Aww, you're enjoying this, aren't you?" she teased, cranking back on her opponent's neck, until the young woman's spine was practically bent into a C-Shape. "Just close your eyes and go limp, honey. It'll all be over before you know it!" She slammed her rear down again, as if trying to squash a particularly stubborn bug. The lower half of Celina's body was now pressed deep into a furrow in the muddy ground, making it even more difficult for the Phoenix to escape.
The Tiger's nostrils flared as she drew in a deep breath, savoring the way the earthy scent of the ring mixed with the sharp tang of sweat. Maybe mud matches were something that she could get used to, after all. Her hands were slick, and her heart was pounding from exertion, but she wasn't letting go of the hold. Just a little more, she thought to herself, as Celina squirmed desperately in her grasp. Come on...she's got to break soon...

Re: Beasts of Fire: The Blaze Tiger VS. The Neo Phoenix
"p-please, stop, my, back, ahhh!"
Celina could only speak in small sentence fragments as her back was slammed down on by her opponent, at this point she just wanted this to end, she didn't care about winning anymore, it didn't mean anything if she had a broken spine
"ahh! Ahh! Give! Up!"
Celina yelled, the referee finally coming over to call the match
"the match is over get up!"
The referee demanded, clearly concerned for Celina's safety

Re: Beasts of Fire: The Blaze Tiger VS. The Neo Phoenix
The referee waved her arms frantically, as the bell rang to signal the end of the match. DING-DING-DING! Bengal, however, kept the hold locked in for a few more excruciating seconds, bending Celina's body until the blonde woman's head was directly underneath hers. The fight might be over, but there was still time for one final humiliation. The Tiger grinned mischievously, then spat in her opponent's face, before throwing her down into the mud as the crowd booed.
Celina lay face-down on the swampy ground, just a few short feet from the ropes she hadn't been able to reach in time. Unlike the mythical bird that was her namesake, it didn't seem like the Neo Phoenix would be able to rise from the ashes - at least, not right now. The damage she'd suffered was too severe. Still smiling, Bengal rose to her feet, making sure to plant her bare foot on the small of Celina's back as she did so. The young wrestler's limp body sank even deeper into the mud, but otherwise she made no response.
"Told you I'd clip your wings," Bengal hissed at her fallen opponent, wondering if Celina was even still conscious enough to hear her. She beckoned impatiently at the referee with one of her dirt-splattered hands, demanding the official to raise her arm. The other woman did so, albeit grudgingly; it seemed like she'd been hoping for Celina to win, just as much as the fans. Still, all the hope in the world wouldn't help the Phoenix now. With a grimace of disgust, the ref grabbed Bengal's wrist and lifted it high, as the announcer's voice boomed through the outdoor arena:
"Ladies and gentlemen...the winner of the match, by submission...THE BLAZE TIGER! BENGAL!"
The Indian woman roared triumphantly, though the noise was mostly drowned out by the furor of the fans. Bengal squelched across the muddy ring, grabbed her discarded boots, blew one last sarcastic kiss at the stands, then exited the arena the same way she'd came in. She couldn't wait to take a long shower, and get back into an air-conditioned room.
That said, the unusual setting of this match had been enjoyable, once she'd had some time to adjust. Growing up, Bengal's parents had always warned her against playing in the mud, saying that it wasn't appropriate for a lady of her background. Now that the Tiger had actually tried it, she had to admit that it was fun. Just another thing that they were wrong about, she reflected, then pushed the thought away. It was time to celebrate her victory, and nothing would ruin that faster than dwelling on her family.
And after she was done celebrating, she decided, she'd make another call to her agent. It was never too early to start booking her next match. Maybe she'd even get a chance to play in the mud once again...
