Settling the Debate (for Renee)

If there was one thing Tami knew the best of when it came to anything in life, it was most definitely working on the farm, but also the sport of boxing. She loved it ever since the last family reunion she held and she always loved a good scrap. That’s why she wasn’t about to let some punk think it was a good idea to talk down about coaches more experienced in boxing come into LAW to teach the younger wrestlers a thing or two about some crossover appeal. Tami was currently waiting in the ring for the woman who called her out on social media a few months back. That woman being Renee Steinhauser, the greedy and rebellious lightweight that decided to speak out against Tami and the other coaches coming into LAW. She thought she could beat Tami at her own game and even brought up the stipulation that if Tami lost, she might as well leave if she can’t even beat her. Tami was dressed in a pink sports bra and blue jean shorts with hot pink gloves on as well as her blonde hair in a ponytail. She wanted to keep up her country flair with a mix of sportswear in her attire. Tami did want to leave this match alone for a bit as in boxing, it was better to get a few months training in before committing to the match and she believed in fairness so she hoped Renee trained as well. Even though it probably was better that Renee didn’t train at all and thought she could beat Tami on her wrestling strength alone. Whatever the case, Tami waited for her opponent twisting her neck to loosen it up some.

A few minutes later, Renee cockily entered the gym, wearing her gym attire, which was just her main attire from her amateur days. She would be wearing some basic red boxing gloves as she would make a lot of noise and disturbing everyone trying to train.

“Alright! Time to teach this old hag that professional wrestling is way superior than the simple rope and dope boxing. I’m gonna have a field day with this walking skeleton trainer.”

Renee would enter the boxing ring like she would do with a wrestling ring. She would pull on the second rope, intrigued by the amount of ropes on the boxing ring. She then looked at Tami before cockily doing the neck slice taunt at her. She was ready to “beat her up” and she hopped around her corner, getting herself pumped.

Tami leaned in her corner as she had to roll her eyes at the ceiling. Renee surely didn’t think this was going to be a one and done affair and this was even before the first round began. If she managed to survive the first round, Tami would be so surprised. It’s clear she was decking this girl hard and no mercy would be shown. Renee gets in the ring as there would be no referee to standby and officiate. Tami just wanted this to be her and Renee. Tami asked a personal trainer to set them up as the male trainer quickly took out his phone setting the timer app for three minutes. As it was set, he lifted his left arm before slicing the air letting the girls know round one was under way.

Renee would circle the ring with Tami, mocking the great boxing legends with her shenanigans. She mockingly shuffled her feet and would deliver some playful jabs to Tami. There were also some taunting tagged along with it as well. If Renee was a Punch Out boxer, she would definitely be Aran Ryan with all the stuff she’s doing in the ring.

“Why don’t you punch good? Hmm? Try not to waste my time with this silly boxing. You’re in a wrestling company. You need to learn to train girls here wrestling. Still don’t know why they hired a boxing coach for a wrestling company. LAW should definitely burn that money for a bonus for me.”

Renee shuffled around Tami trying to be some knockoff Muhammad Ali and it was safe to say Tami wasn’t linnet with this disrespect. Renee chastised her saying LAW was basically only for wrestlers despite the fact that many boxers and MMA fighters filled the roster. Just because someone crosses over to this sport doesn’t mean wherever they came from is any less educational. Tami really wish she brought Holly here. Holly would’ve made an example of Renee in addition to her.

Tami just huffed and went on the offensive trying to hit hard hooks to Renee’s jaw to distract her guard before using her right shoulder to push Renee in the ropes going for an all-out assault on Renee’s gut hammering hard punch after hard punch!

If Tami would learn something about Renee during and after this match, is that Renee is one scrappy and fluid son of a bitch. She quickly bobbed and weaved from Tami’s hooks before backing up a lot. She kept moving around, not letting Tami punch her while also throwing out some taunting words.

“You really think you’re gonna hit me? Cmon Tami. I thought you were some great boxing coach and you can’t even hit your student? Tell me you’re washed up without telling me you’re washed up.”

Tami found herself hitting air a lot or barely nicking Renee as she widened her eyes clearly underestimating Renee’s dodging skills. Maybe Renee didn’t have any respect for boxing, but she knew where her pros and cons lied when it came to any combat sport. Tami knew she had weaknesses so she just had to continue drawing them out, but she also minded her stamina not wanting Renee to have a free sandbag to work with. She spat out some beckoning Renee to try her hand.

“Alright, so you know how to dodge hits….how about you actually land some, rug rat? ” Tami challenged.

“Rug rat. That’s a new insult. But hey, that’s… I actually have nothing to rebuttal after that. Let’s just keep boxing bitch.”

Renee shifted her feet a lot, exceeding a lot of stamina in keeping her distance. If Tami were to focus on that, maybe she could catch Renee off guard whenever she tires out. However, Renee would then go aggressive, basically charging at Tami and sorta trucking her into the corner. If she were successful, Renee would just be throwing overhead left hooks to the cheek of Tami. That’s the only move she’s doing

Tami kept her guard up as Renee was starting to come closer to her. Tami knew going on the offensive right here would just give Renee plenty of ammo to bob and weave through. Renee started skipping side to side preventing an early escape from the southern farmer and Tami couldn’t see an exit point for herself. Renee backed her up in the corner and started throwing big left hooks as Tami ate two making her spit out saliva to the side, but she got both gloves up to protect her face and tried to weather the storm as each punch hit her gloves!

Renee kept hitting the mental button of overhead left hook like it was the overpowered move in the game. She continued to throw it, even with Tami blocking most of the blow. But that was when Renee was displaying fatigue. She was tired after throwing all those overhead left hooks. Tami could counter if she wanted to but that was when Renee sent a right jab down Main Street; literally as she just punched Tami just above the belt line.
