The Education of Desdemona Belti - Part 4: Alizeh Midori

A move like this was a gamble. Granted, taking on Alizeh at all like this was a gamble, so it wasn’t like she was in foreign territory with that one.

The kick to her opponent’s chest sent her careering over the ropes, and she very nearly wound up toppling to the floor below, for what would’ve been a nasty fall. Thankfully, she was just able to grip the ropes and come down on the apron, though she did nearly slip on the landing. Close call, but everything worked out.

A good thing, too, because she had a problem: Alizeh was already back on the attack.

Thankfully, Dizzy was somewhat prepared for this. Her two most consistent sparring partners were both big women, and they’d taught her how to deal with rampaging bulls - namely, you need to get the heck out of the way. She stood there, waiting, a deer in the headlights.

Until she grabbed the top rope, dropped to her back to pull it down, attempting to make Alizeh fall out of the ring, a classic tripping maneuver.

What to do with it?

First step was making sure Alizeh stayed down. Dizzy came back in and crawled on top of her opponent, sitting on her chest to pin her down.
