Red in Tooth and Claw: Ashley Morgan VS. Bengal

As Bengal slowly began to regain consciousness, she was confused by the faces in the crowd. There appeared to be something wrong with them, though in her disoriented state, she couldn't say exactly what it was. Had Ashley's choke slam scrambled something in her brain? It was only when she felt her arms dangling below her, and her hair hanging limply around her head, that she realized what was really happening: she was upside down.

The next thing she became aware of was the pain coursing through her legs and spine. The Red Menace had her knotted up like a pretzel. Her left knee was twisted at a tortuous angle, while her right calf was folded down on top of the opposite ankle, locking both limbs in place. Every time Ashley pressed down, Bengal felt as if her knees were about to pop out of their sockets - that is, if her backbone didn't snap in half first. The blood rushing downward to her head made her dizzy, while her face was beginning to flush with the same dark red shade as her opponent's uniform. The trapped Tiger wriggled weakly from side to side, straining her arms downward, but it was useless. Ashley had been right: thanks to Bengal's shorter stature, there was no way for her to reach the floor.

Tears began to well in Bengal's eyes as she realized the hopelessness of her position. The salty droplets ran down her inverted face, stinging the cuts on her forehead. The Tiger had put up a good fight, but there was nothing more she could do. The pain in her legs was becoming unbearable, and she could tell from the way her head was spinning that it wouldn't be long before she passed out again. The arena stands were a blur of leering faces, all smiling at the prospect of her inevitable defeat. As much as Bengal hated to give the fans what they wanted, she knew that she had no choice. With the last of her strength, she tapped out on the side of Ashley's leg, hoping that her opponent could feel it through the thick fabric of her kneepads.

"I...I give," Bengal whimpered, squeezing her eyes shut so she wouldn't have to see the triumphant grin on Ashley's face. "Please...let me d-down..." The last thing that the Tiger heard before the sound of the bell was her opponent's mocking laughter. DING-DING-DING!

Ashley mercilessly shook her opponent, squeezing her legs tightly while letting out a frantic laugh. It was a total trance for the heelish redhead. For an instant, she completely lost track of the fight, letting herself be carried away by the moment, enjoying the continued torture of her poor victim. The competitive aspect of the match was long over. It was a massacre at this point- Ashley didn't care about winning anymore, she wanted to continue mauling this girl for as long as she could, that was her sole mission, her one true objective, her...

Suddenly, Ashley felt a tapping on one of her legs, the sound of the bell abruptly brought the Englishwoman back to reality. With a shocked expression, Ashley looked around, she saw an ecstatic crowd. She looked down and saw Bengal hanging limply from her grasp. Then, she heard the notes from her entrance music- The Indian girl had submitted, granting Ashley the victory in their encounter.

However, Ashley didn't celebrate, as the referee approached her, signaling the end of the fight and demanding that she release her opponent. Anger gripped the British woman once again. The Indian girl had robbed her of the sweet pleasure of inflicting more torture.

"You little...!" Ashley lifted Bengal higher and dropped her head first onto the floor, finally releasing her hold. The Tiger's body landed motionless on the ground.

In any other encounter with other people, the two fighters would have exchanged words of respect and admiration after a hard-fought match. But nothing could be further from the truth in Ashley's case: there was no praise from the redhead, just a stern look and the promise of a similar fate for anyone who dared to face the Red Menace.
