Matilda Jacobs and The Steampunk Revolution vs. Sheila Chihara and The Superstars (Trios Mud Match)

The match had barely even begun, but tempers had already fired high - and things had spiraled out of control faster than anyone could keep track of! Not only had Sarabeth and Molly gotten themselves locked in a pitched struggle as they grabbed for each others' hair and tumbled through the mud, now Matilda had jumped into the fray, running in and grabbing Molly from behind! The Englishwoman had just drawn back a fist to slam it into Sarabeth's face - but it would only cut through the air and hit nothing. Only moments later, Molly looked back over her shoulder to see what she was in for - and that was when Matilda hurled her into the mud face-first, sending up a splash!

Molly sputtered and groaned as she tried to clear the cobwebs from her head, but before she could collect her thoughts, Matilda had already begun to throw a few kicks at her side! Crying out in pain, the blonde rolled over and clutched at her back, breaking away from both Sarabeth and Matilda. For now, at least, it seemed as though there had been a lull in the commotion, and Molly groaned under her breath, rubbing her head to try and get the world around her to stop spinning. When she did look back up, however, it was to see Harmonia pounding Matilda into the corner, filled with righteous fury!

At that, Molly let out a gasp. For a moment, that was enough to shake her back to her senses, throwing water over the fires of her temper. Had the match truly gotten this far out of hand? Had she only emboldened Harmonia to overstep her boundaries and throw this match even more wildly off-kilter? She began to hold her hand to her mouth...right as Harmonia scooped Sarabeth up and paid her team back by slamming her into the mud, sending up a splatter over Molly!

The Englishwoman shook herself back to her senses. As Harmonia came over and hoisted her up, she nodded - she knew what she had to do now. Maybe this match was off the rails, but she was still in it to win - and Harmonia was counting on her to do so! "Right-! And I'll do it in the true Superstar style!" Molly wasn't just a mindless brawler. She was a high-flying powerhouse, and she was going to put those skills to good use - and do so in style! As Harmonia left the ring, Molly took off toward the ropes - where she jumped onto the bottom one, before springing herself back toward Sarabeth to land on top of her with an elbow drop!

Matilda yelped as Harmonia grabbed her by the hair and sent her right out of the ring right onto the edge! The puppeteer grabbed her stomach coughing in spurts as the result of Harmonia’s punching prowress bore a huge sore into her. Not to mention, Harmonia ragdolled Sarabeth as well scooping her up for a hard slam that Sarabeth cry out in pain as she arched her back. The Superstars were on the Lionesses like lions in the safari trapping their latest meals. They managed to keep all of their team members stationary and in good condition while Sarabeth seemed like the loner for her team. Molly ran to climb the bottom rope of the turnbuckle and looked to sail for an elbow drop aiming for the rebel’s chest! Sarabeth looked to be a goner and was in for more pain than she bargained for….

ONLY FOR JESSIE TO SLIP IN AND PULL SARABETH OUT OF THE WAY BY HER LEGS!

If there was anything that would prove that the Superstars were every bit worthy of the name, it had to be what was unfolding in the ring here and now. Molly might have let her anger get the better of her, but she had managed to pull things together and take control of the action - and she and Harmonia were working in tandem to keep the opposing team down with their perfectly coordinated, almost instinctual teamwork! The fact that they were able to move so swiftly in the mud was just a testament to their skill - and it made the fans cheer even louder! When Molly began to climb up the ropes, she looked back over her shoulder with a smile to see Matilda lying there on the outside of the ring, pleased with Harmonia's handiwork. Nothing, she thought, was going to stop them now - the Superstars were about to claim a sure-fire victory!

Or so she thought. Molly took off from the ropes, propelling herself backward through the air - but right before she could make impact with Sarabeth, Jessie reached over and pulled her to safety! The Englishwoman's mouth dropped open in a gasp as she found herself in freefall. The Steampunk Revolution, it seemed, was just as capable of working as a highly effective team - and they had struck while it was too late for Molly to do anything about her situation!

She fell down hard, sending up a torrent of mud that splashed everywhere, and her teeth clenched in a grimace as she skidded to a halt. She spat out some of it that had gotten in her mouth. She'd come down on her elbow, and that had absorbed the brunt of the force, leaving her whole arm sore.

"MOLLY! Hey, c'mon, Molly, tag me in! I got it!" Sheila called out. She leaned through the ropes, waving her hand to Molly to urge the blonde closer.

"Nngh...coming-!" Molly rolled onto her stomach, starting to wriggle closer through the mud - though, when her arm was still sore from the landing, she could only move so fast!

Sarabeth was pulled over to her team’s corner as she held her chest and used the ropes to get up staring down a helpless Molly. Sarabeth took quite a bit of damage so she would have to forgo going after Molly and let her tag in Sheila which was fine with her since she knew Sheila a little better in the ring thanks to their classes and spars together. Sarabeth also nodded a thanks to Jessie tagging her in so they could return the favor of double teaming the opposing team that started it to begin with. If Sheila ran at them to begin with, both Sarabeth and Jessie double-teamed Sheila running as best they could through the mud going for a Double Shotgun Dropkick to bounce Sheila down in the mud! Even though the referee argued with her to get out of the ring, Sarabeth made her final impression trying to dig her feet in the mud for balance and jump for a spectacular Standing Moonsault on Sheila!

Molly was able to tag in Sheila, marking the Australian girl's first time as the legal woman in this match. And she wasn't about to waste it - the moment she clapped Molly's hand, she sprung right over the ropes and into the ring, where she stood facing her opponents with a grin on her face and her hands on her hips. "WHOOOOO'S READY!?~" she cheered, throwing a fist proudly in the air. Sheila didn't hesitate for a moment before she took off at full speed, rushing toward the opposing team. She was going to bring her explosive energy to this match as she always did, and she wouldn't let anything stop her!

Not even the fact that she was ankle-deep in the mud, which was not exactly the most conducive surface for her to take off in a charge in. Still, she was going to go for it nonetheless - and that ended up backfiring on her when, partly through her stride, she lost control of her momentum and began to skid forward through the mud. "A-Ahh, whoah-!" she cried - and her momentum would be cut short by an equally impressive acrobatic maneuver from Sarabeth and Jessie, as the two of them hurled themselves into the Australian with enough force to take her off her feet and throw her down into the mud below!

"KYAAAH-!!" Sheila cried out. She flew back a few feet before her back even hit the bottom of the pool, and when it did she came down hard, sending up a splash of mud all around her. Plenty of fans cheered for such explosive action - and a few sitting in the front rows ducked and winced as the mud flew their way! But Sarabeth was hot on her heels, throwing herself down on top of Sheila with a moonsault that caused her to cough and sputter as her arms and legs jumped up into the air. From there, she fell flat, in a daze and with her head spinning as she groaned under her breath. She was wide open now, and it was only a matter of seeing what Jessie would do now that she had her opening.

"Jeez..." Seeing it all was enough to make Molly recoil with a wince, even as she got back to her corner. She had to applaud Sarabeth and Jessie on their teamwork...but that had to hurt!

The referee was having a kipnipton fit over Sarabeth counting her out as Sarabeth finally went through the ropes and back on the apron. She got in her corner at the count of 4 and the referee scolded her to follow the rules. Jessie was now alone with Sheila and while she respected the Australian, it was time to bring order back into the match after the heated confrontation between Sarabeth and Molly. It didn’t matter who was right and wrong. She was in charge now!

Jessie would run over and tried dropping an elbow down on Sheila with a fast pace! She then hooked a leg trying to go for an early victory!

“1! 2!”

"Guh..!" Sheila cried out with a gasp as Jessie dropped down on top of her, her elbow stabbing straight downward against her gut. Her legs jerked up into the air as the wind was driven out of her lungs, only for her to fall back down with the sound of a wet splat a moment later. Jessie had succeeded at keeping the pressure on her while she was down, and she was looking to deny her an easy recovery in order to keep her under control. Now, in fact, she was looking to force an end to this match by going for the pin - and for a moment, it looked like she just might do it.

But Molly knew her partner was tougher than that, and she wasn't going to count her out just yet! "YOU GOT IT, SHEILA!!" she called from the sidelines. And indeed, Sheila wasn't going to let this be the end. She might have been pinned down, but the mud would do her plenty of favors in making sure she was hard to hold onto - a fact she was going to turn to her advantage just now!

Before the ref could count the three, Sheila kicked out her legs to draw as much power behind her as she could. At the same time, she pushed off Jessie's shoulders with a hard shove! Ideally, she was hoping to slide her way out from under the blonde, while at the same time causing Jessie to skid backward and fall flat on her face. And if she could do that, Sheila would try to throw her thighs into place around Jessie's head to lock in a headscissor while she had her where she wanted her!

Jessie grunted as Sheila kicked out and also pushed on her back flinging her forward as the intelligent inventor landed face first right in the mud! The crowd cheered loudly as Jessie lifted her face only to have her vision blurred. She was quick to get the slop out of her eyes before Sheila displayed her quickness clamping her legs around Jessie’s neck. Jessie was now wheezing and coughing in spurts as Sheila had a firm hold on her neck. Jessie tried kicking her way out, but the mud made her slip in and out as she couldn’t quite get ahold of a good foot grip meaning she was anchored on her back.

She couldn’t use her legs so she retreated to one part of her body that was her better option: her brain. Jessie swung her body and then used her strength to sit atop Sheila’s stomach albeit still involved in the scissor hold. Jessie’s head bent forward, but she used her hands to grab under Sheila’s legs and pull them up while also leaning her weight back hopefully pinning Sheila fully in the mud once more! Jessie pulled Sheila’s legs up in some form of a rollup pin, but she was breathing deeply still trapped. This was much less to win the match on a lucky spur of the moment and much more bargaining an escape from Sheila’s submission. A true act of masterful thinking! The ref dove down counting “1! 2!”, but she could see Sheila keeping one shoulder afloat, but continued to count pins when Sheila put her shoulder down.
