Jack Drummond [D] vs Rev Citrine -- A Londoner's Debut

JACK DRUMMOND [D] 🆚 REV CITRINE -- A LONDONER'S DEBUT
  • SUBMISSION MATCH
  • HENTAI ALLOWED ✅
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jack's heart was pounding nearly right out his chest as he waited backstage for his big debut. He had finally done it, finally worked his way up to the big leagues where in only a few moments he'd make his big debut in the L.A.W. in front of an arena of energized fans. He could hear the dull roar of their chatter even from where he stood, and as his fingertips began to tingle with numbness he had to bounce back and forth on his heels to dispel some of the nervous energy.

"Tonight's submission match is set for one fall!" came the sound of the announcer overhead as it boomed through the arena and received a roar of approval. "Making his debut appearance....hailing all the way from London, England.....standing in at 5' 10" and weighing in at 175 lbs....Jack Drummond!"

Jack runs out from backstage with the biggest smile on his face as he waves to the arena with both hands up in the air. He wears a loose singlet tank with a mock up of the Union Jack specifically designed so that shows off his impressive torso. His lower half's clothing was designed in similar fashion, with the Union Jack centered over his groin and the rest of the flag's lines extending down over the rest of his pants, finished off with white boots. Jack is relieved to receive a chorus of cheers from the fine folks in attendance, least of which he figured was due to his looks alone. He makes his way down to the ring just like he had practiced at home and all those times before in the indies league, and then bounced himself right into the ring where he stops to make another big grin and a double bicep flex to win over even more of those hearts and minds. Looks alone weren't going to earn him a lasting spot in the L.A.W. though, Jack was intent on showing that he had the skill and power to back up a pretty face! His smile takes on a more determined look as he moves over into his corner of the ring and stands with hands on his hips. Jack looks back on to the ramp as he awaits his debut match opponent, and the man he'd be looking forward to making submit in all due time!

"And his opponent! Making his way to the ring now, standing at 6 feet 8 inches and weighing 284 pounds! A silent man who craves his opponent's humiliation...The Giant Sculptor, REV CITRIIINE!"

Rev's new theme came on, and the giant man walked towards the ring with a confident coolness to him, only added on by the mix of cheers and boos that accompanied his entrance. The lights that accompanied him, reds and pinks, only served to highlight his massive and muscular physique, his pecs and abs on full display as, giving a quick spin, he slinked off his open vest and threw it to a member of the audience, leaving him in only his red bell bottoms.

This was a new opponent, it was cool he was being used now to break in all sorts of new people.

Hopefully he could show the man a good time.

Stepping over the ropes with practiced ease, he strided up to his opponent. He gave a cocky grin, quite literally looking down at the man who was roughly eye level with his pecs. He reached out, ruffling his opponent's hair as a sign of disrespect before the match even started.

Jack's brow raises as he see's Rev for the first time and thinks to himself 'well damn, aint he a bloody big one'. He starts rolling up his metaphorical sleeves though as he psychs himself up for the challenge with no thoughts of backing out. Big or small, he'd take on this guy like any other opponent, and lady luck willing, come out on top in the end! The ring shakes a little as Rev steps inside and Jack braces himself as Rev marches right up to him. His head tilts upwards to maintain eye contact. Without knowing anything about the guy he can only prepare himself for a worst case scenario, although at first glance he doesn't read Rev as the type of strike you before the bell rings.

"....!" Jack is slightly startled when Rev's hand reaches out, but is relieved when he only decides to ruffle his hair. The corner of his mouth upturns into a bit of a smirk as he rolls with it and leaves his hair messed up.

"A friendly one, aint ya, mate?" Jack replies with hands on his hips. He returns the gesture with a hard (but not aggressive) clap on the shoulder and gives him a friendly shake. "Big too, huh? I bet these fine people here are going to enjoy this little bout of ours. I know I will! Especially after hearing you say those magic words!" he continues and puts one hand up to his ear and waves with the other at the crowd. It takes the crowd a second to catch onto his train of thinking, but then they all begin to shout out at once "I GIVE UP!"

Jack laughs along now that they got it and claps his hands several times while nodding. "Best of luck mate!" he adds quickly and holds his hand out for a shake in a sign of good showing.

Rev, amused but ultimately unimpressed by Jack's boasting, looked at the hand extended out towards him, and instead flicked Jack on the nose for his troubles. Giving the other man a lazy grin, but a knowing look, he tapped the massive scar circling his neck and mouthed a few words to demonstrate his LACK of ability to say much of anything.

The audience members more familiar with Rev made that clear, given a large amount of the crowd chuckled the moment Rev pointed to his neck. Honestly, when contract renewals came up, he was going to have it written that every opponent of his would be informed before hand. How did this keep happening...?

...well, that was a problem for tomorrow's Rev. For now, he moved back, stretching his arms over his head and giving a decent flex of his own biceps as the bell rang, signaling the start of the match. Instead of acting, he simply watched his opponent, curious to see what this newbie's first move would be.

Jack turns a little pink at the implication that he had overlooked, quite the egg on his face situation indeed. He scratches the back of his head with a bit of a sheepish, apologetic smile. "Ah, well...I'll still take a tap out!" he quickly adds as a means of saving face. Knowing that he had probably scored negative rep points for that one, Jack clears his throat and swipes his thumb across his nose as he shuts himself up and focuses in on the start of the match. He readies himself into a starting position and awaits the ring of the bell.

DING! DING! DING!

With the ring of the bell Jack drops into his natural flow and begins to circle round Rev. When the other man doesn't immediately take initiative, Jack picks up the slack and makes the first move. He steps in with a steady stride and gets into striking range while still being slightly wary of Rev's taller stature and thus longer reach. He was eager to see how the pink haired man handled himself in a bout of fisticuffs, thus Jack starts off with a quick 1-2 jab combo aimed more towards the head, then finishes his opener with a low body hook. Grapple, throw hands, dodge or even counter, Jack was hoping to learn more about his opponent's style by giving him a simple move to react to.

Jack quickly learned the option Rev chose was counter. Rev continued his stretching, an eye trained on Jack the entire time, waiting for the moment when the other man got close enough. He wasn't good at planning ahead, this was true, but he'd gotten good at being able to tell what an opponent with a clear disadvantage looks like.

And damn near a foot of difference in height was one of them. Rev's counter was quite simple: the moment he felt like his opponent was in range, he threw the hand currently stretching over his head out and to the side, hoping to give Jack one HELL of a bitch slap right across the face. His lazy grin didn't change as he tried this, suddenly looking less friendly and more like a way to mock his opponent through sheer lack of respect.

Counter! Jack's reflexes kick in as he see's Rev's arm shift from above his head and out to the side, and then right into a cross-face strike. He jerks his head back trying to dodge but given Rev's arm length, he can still land a glancing blow across Jack's temple leaving quite the sting behind. The power behind it gets clearly translated too as the impact sends Jack bouncing back on his feet, though he manages to correct and take control of his momentum to flow back into a waiting pattern by circling with Rev. Had that been a punch rather than a slap he might not be so peppy right now he remarks to himself, and files that tidbit in his brain right away. Further Rev was still grinning at him in a peculiar way which gave Jack the sense he was being messed with rather than taken seriously.

"Not bad mate, almost got me good there!" he remarks with a grin of his own. The close encounter was now giving him tingles of excitement as he re-evaluates the challenge before him. Jack rolls his arms and neck out and gets back into his ready stance, then closes in closer again, prepared with the knowledge from before. He repeats his combo this time, giving the appearance that he may be a one trick pony, but this time the finisher to his little combo is not a bodyshot but a leg sweep! See how quickly the pinkhead reacted this time!

Rev tried to do something different, realizing his opponent was going to do something similar. This time around, when the strikes came, he moved back, the grin still on his face as he simply dodged the strikes themselves with a speed that betrayed his massive size...

...he hadn't expected the sweep at his legs though. He was sent to the floor ass first, the ring shaking from the impact of his fall. He gritted his teeth, the blow clearly hurting given his size. Okay, so it appeared his opponent was more clever than Rev had given him credit for, he'd remember this.

Still, it'd take more than a fall to stun Rev this early on in the match, and he shot his right foot out, hoping to catch his opponent in the stomach and send him to the floor as well. His other hand was on his hip, rubbing at it to ease the burning pain running through his lower back following the fall.

Jack's grin grows ever wide as he manages to upset his bigger opponent and send the guy right on his ass. He hypes the crowd with a throw of his hands up in the air, but he doesn't celebrate a total victory yet, this fish still needed to be fried! Jack approaches to continue his assault and is stopped by a rocket-powered boot aimed straight for his chest from the downed man. He doubles over with a loud grunt as the foot makes contact and a wave of 'ooohs' sweep through the crowd in sympathetic secondhand pain.

But to everyone's surprise Jack doesn't crumple down! Instead, his head slowly rolls up with the biggest grin yet. "Gotcha!" he announces while revealing that he has kept Rev's boot clutched to his chest. With both hands on the limb Jack springs up to a full stand and twists the leg in a dramatic circle over his head intending to force his opponent to turn over facedown. From there he'd try and transition right into a single leg boston crab in what he hoped to be the first submission hold of the match locked in!

Aw crap. Well...

...Rev had a few regrets now. His opponent was holding his bare foot now, and Rev quickly learned his opponent's rippling muscles weren't just for show given how he get it out of Jack's grasp! And then Rev was forced onto his stomach...

...and let out a sputter as his right leg was suddenly stretched in a single leg Boston crab. His muscles cried out, his torso pressed against the mat. His face began to burn with embarrassment more than anything however. He had underestimated his opponent more than he thought, and now he was being put in a hold not minute into the match.

He could endure it, he knows he can. At the very least, he's about to see what his opponent's capable of now that he has Rev in his grasp!
