"Hmmm, everything looks to be in order." Angie Defoe paced down the long lines of a convention center. The sound of her heels hitting the ground echoed out with each step, piercing the sounds of chatter amongst the hundreds/thousands of fans that had shown up.

LAW has no shortage of fan events and autograph signings. The company has connections in just about every major city. But it wasn't often that you had multiple big stars and top talents in the same place for a major function like this one. LAW's Assistant General Manager strode her way down one of the longest lines in the building's atrium.

Flanked on both sides by LAW Security and Media staff, Miss Defoe skipped to the front of the line and cut in front of whichever fan it was who was getting an Alaina autograph at the moment.

"LAW Heavyweight Champion 'Amazon' Alaina Sanders...." Angie pushed up her glasses. An ominous tension filled the atmosphere. The fans began to back away.

"I'm LAW Assistant General Manager, Angie Defoe. I'm here to make sure that our champions are the best and brightest. That they deserve to be featured on the posters, shirts, and network television promos....and I'm afraid I find you, rather lacking...." Angie raised her eyebrow at Sanders. She spoke in a rather condescending tone, seeming thoroughly unimpressed.

Alaina was wearing her two piece tiger print wrestling attire with matching kneepads and boots as she greeted a long line of fans. She flexed, sided and took pictures with them, her LAW Heavyweight belt prevalent.

All was well until a snake in the grass revealed itself. "Angie, I am well aware of who you are." Alsina said sounding quite frosty. "You dodged every challenge of mine years ago for a champion vs. champion match. Shame you were never woman enough to face me." Alaina added with a smile. "Also calling a champion of yours who defended the title successfully 15 times in a condensed period compared to every other champion is funny. I guess the flab buildup is in your brain too not just those wide hips."

"Ah, you're as pleasant as ever, Alaina." Angie brushed off the remark. She placed a hand on the signing table and leaned forward.

"Tell me, is that any way to be talking to your boss? If you wanted a match with me, we certainly could have talked it out together but I'm not sure I like your tone. You're certainly not carrying yourself or addressing me with the dignity of a champion...." Defoe bit her bottom lip as she trailed off.

"Perhaps I'll remember this when little Anna and Carl are old enough to wrestle for my company?" Angie raised an eyebrow, knowing full well that mentioning Alaina's kids and how she would make an effort to meddle in their wrestling careers would do nothing if not get right under the skin of The Amazon!

Alaina scowled at Angie. "It's bad enough Danny, Irelia and I have to deal with you. My kids may not wrestle but if they did I would keep them away from a snake like you." Alaina said.

"You couldn't beat competent women in a clean match. You have no hope of ever taking me on without cheating. I would slam that slab of flab ass of yours so hard you bounce over the top rope to the outside. I should scoop you up and slam you in that dumpster like the trash you are." Alaina hissed, standing up and bumping Angie's chest pushing her away.

Angie's scheming smirk stayed plastered on her face. As Alaina got hot and got up, many fans and reporters swarmed in to get a good look at this fast escalating altercation! And the angrier The Amazon seemed to get, the more satisfied the look an Defoe's face!

"Do it." Angie put her hands up and stood chest to chest with Alaina. Her wry grin juxtaposed Alaina staring daggers at her

"Slam me. Take a swing at your boss. See what effect that has on the legacy of the famed Amazon. Just give me a reason, Alaina." Angie leaned forward, pushing her forwards and nose against Alaina's own. Intensity and malice filled the air!

"Do. It."

Alaina stood face to face with Angie and smiled. "I want you to step your wrinkly, bumpy old ass into the ring with me so I can show you how much of a fake you are but I know you are too scared. You won't do it on your own voluntarily." Alaina said. "However I know you will do whatever you can do make my life hell." Alaina said coldly.

At that point she suddenly slammed a knee into the abdomen of Angie before scooping her up, slamming her down as hard as she could! Alaina flexed her biceps over her and looked down at Angie. "I know a fine is coming but despite what you want I am too much of a commodity for LAW to want to release! Now with all these fans snapping pictures of me slamming that bouncy blubber of yours to the ground and flexing over you I know you can't let that stand and now you are stuck, you need to step in the ring with me and can't dodge me now that all this is done." Alaina said with a smile, stomping on the abdomen of Angie. "I will send a check for the fine whatever amount it is. Keep my kids names out of your mouth and see you in the ring."

To anyone who knew the first thing about wrestling, heck even laymen who weren't initiated knew that The Amazon was just about one of the last women you wanted to make an enemy out of. Alaina was a fun and loveable old soul, but she had a fury in her like a woman possessed for anyone who dared to threaten to disrespect her legacy or her loved ones!

"Uuuf!" The businesswoman doubled over when Alaina suddenly lifted her knee into Angie's midsection!

Though Angie Defoe hadn't wrestled in years, she was intentionally drawing The Amazon's ire like this! It took a certain amount of guts and recklessness to assault your boss even if you were the reigning LAW Heavyweight Champ! When Alaina struck first, Angie's security team quickly scrambled! But even while hurting and covering her core where Alaina kneed her, Angie raised a hand at them to gesture for the men and women in suits to stand down! Things were going exactly according to plan!

Alaina was heated! She kept going! She hoisted Angie up for a Scoop Slam that would make headlines! Every reporter, fan, and bystander took out their phones to record and take pics! Alaina began to bring Angie down with authority! But just when Alaina lifted Angie high to bring her back down, who else but Kat Hart would appear from behind to pull Angie down by the legs and begrudgingly spare Angie from a well-deserved fate, but more importantly spare Alaina from a career-altering body slam!

"Hey! Easy girl!" Kat pushed Angie to the side and turned to Alaina. She raised both her palms to show that despite what just happened, she meant Alaina no harm.

"I've been wanting to do what you just did since this conniving old bat first got hired here. She's a cow. She talked about your kids. I get it....but you beat her up in front of the whole world like this outside the ring, and she'll do more than just fine you..." Kat tried to talk Alaina down. It only made sense that both she and Alaina would both be at a high-profile autograph signing like this. Angie collapsed and gasped. Defoe was visibly upset that things didn't go exactly according to plan!

"You're the Heavyweight Champ. You're one of the faces of this place. But you're not untouchable. I get it if you're mad at me for now, but if I hadn't done that, then you might be looking at a suspension and at having your title stripped away from you. And NOBODY wants that.....so don't take the bait. Don't let Angie play you....." Kat sneered down at the seething Assistant GM in the hopes that standing tall with Alaina here showed solidarity and showed that they were the bigger women here!

Thankfully one of the handful of people that could talk sense into Alaina had appeared and as her nostrils flared, her chest heaved and muscles tensed she managed to relax enough to stop. "Yeah... you are right. This cowardly bitch dodged me for years. She just wants me gone so she doesn't have a champion who reminds her how she was never a true champion herself, just a cowardly bitch..." Alaina said, her face moving closer to Angie as the amazon spoke.

Alaina glared at Angie and grinned. "If ya want thst match though, unlike you I never back down." Alaina said with a smile.

The Super Kitty managed to calm her friend down. Alaina stood tall, but she didn't push the envelope and risk having Angie try to mar her career or reputation by seeking retribution for laying hands on one of her bosses. But that wouldn't stop the Amazon from continuing to like the bear!

Angie was still getting up off the ground when Alaina stepped closer. Alaina's words caught the attention of more of the press. People continued to record as Alaina talked down to Defoe!

"You two....you forget your place..." Angie's eyes narrowed as she spoke to Alaina and Kat.

"Alaina, last I checked, I'm still the Assistant General Manager...I make the matches, not you! If you want a match with me, you'll do it on my terms, not yours! As a matter of fact, for your insolence, here's an idea! If you and Kat want to make a united front against your bosses, why don't we test that friendship of yours?!" Defoe pushed up her glasses and stepped closer to Alaina, getting nose to nose with her!

"Fight The LAW 4....you'll put that on the line...!" Angie pointed to Alaina's Heavyweight Title.

"Against her.....good luck!" Defoe would begin to walk off, confident that setting up this match would stir some dissent.

Alaina glared at Angie as she left. The amazon was still angry, still breathing heavily as she shook her head. "You know... facing you with a title on the line here in LAW would be a dream come true. You gave me a shot at the tag titles so I owe you, and us headlining would blow the roof off the place." Alaina said giving Kat a pat on the back.

"Do ya think you can handle a 50 year old woman in a 60-minute ironwoman match." Alaina asked appearing fully confident in herself as she grinned at Kat. "You know the fans would love it."
