As soon as he got close, Polaris caught him with a powerful lift. For a split second, James felt weightless, his legs kicking uselessly in midair.

The spinebuster slammed him into the mat with ferocious impact. James’s back arched involuntarily as a bolt of searing pain shot through his spine. His head snapped back from the force, momentarily disorienting him, and his chest heaved as he gasped for breath.
