Noelle Silva vs Thereisa Niedermeyer

Noelle's counterattack and subsequent offensive went exactly to her plan. Her kick dropped the Heavyweight woman to the mat, and then the princess buried four knees into her body with two attacks. Noelle knew that this was the moment to strike with a submission hold. She knew she'd have to be very careful trying to lock up a woman who was so much bigger than herself as Thereisa was, but the Spaniard also knew that she wouldn't win a wrestling match with strikes alone.

Noelle would step back towards Thereisa's legs and wrap them in a figure four around one of her own. Then the silver haired wrestler would try to turn her larger foe onto her stomach, hook her arms, and then lift the German up into a Scorpion Crosslock. Folding the veteran wrestler into a 'C' and trying to continue to work her midsection.

Still hurting from the double knees to her body, Thereisa felt Noelle grab her legs and roll them onto her stomach. Shock and pain were written on the older woman's face as she realized that her weight advantage should have made it difficult for her younger opponent to lift her.

However, Noelle continued to surprise her by managing to get Thereisa up into the air and locking in a submission hold that forced a scream from the older woman's lips.

"Aaaahhhhh!" she grunted. Thereisa knew she had to endure the pain, hoping to find a way to wiggle one arm free to counter or escape the hold she was in.

This start had gone extremely well for Noelle. She was still untouched, but in turn had landed multiple heavy hits on Thereisa, and now had the larger woman trapped in a submission hold. Thereisa herself had seemed to be treating to Noelle like she respected her as a wrestler, but still didn't view the Spaniard as a threat to actually win the match. Honestly even Noelle herself hadn't envisioned things going quite this smoothly.

Next Thereisa did something that Noelle wasn't expecting; she seemed to be trying to finesse her way out of the hold, wriggling and twisting her arms against the Lightweight's grip. Noelle had figured that Thereisa would use her advantage in raw strength to try to force her way out. But Noelle would still try to stop this escape attempt the same way as if the German had tried to use power.

Noelle would hop up as high as she could with Thereisa's weight in tow, and then land so the Heavyweight was getting slammed to the mat beneath her body, while her own back was still getting folded. The princess would then move to stand back up, take a few seconds to regather herself, and then make the drop again until Thereisa did something about it.

'Alright... seems that I have to take her seriously... didn't expect her to surprise me like this out of the gate.' The older woman would think to herself, as her opponent has been able to get off to a fast start. It made the situation worse because Noelle stopped her attempt to escape the hold and slammed her face first to the canvas.

'Ahhh...' Thereisa would grunt out after slamming into the mat... before feeling her body being lifted up again by the much smaller woman, but this time she was ready for it. As Noelle would take the seconds to gather herself again... Thereisa would swing her head backward to land a headbutt right at the younger woman's nose to stun her.

Hoping that the impact of the move would force her opponent to break the hold and allow her some time to plan her next move.

Noelle slammed Thereisa down and stood back up, keeping her Scorpion Crosslock locked in all the while. After the princess stood back up, she saw what she thought was the German wrestler trying to throw her head backwards. It seemed as though because she was facing away from Noelle, Thereisa wasn't quite sure where the Spaniard actually was. As with the limited mobility she had, Thereisa's head wasn't anywhere near close enough to Noelle's to be able to strike it, since she was standing behind the veteran's hips.

So, with Thereisa's escape attempts proven ineffective, Noelle was unchallenged as she dropped the German onto the mat again, continuing her early dominance in the match. The Spaniard really didn't understand why Thereisa hadn't tried using the strength of her arms to try to pull Noelle's grip on the hold apart, as it was the best, and probably only way that she really had to escape. It was surprising that the size difference between the too wasn't naturally compelling the Heavyweight to lean on strength more. But as long as Thereisa wasn't doing it, Noelle was happy to take advantage and continue controlling the match.

"Damn it... I missed and even took another slam to the canvas," the older woman thought as the hold began to affect her back. What frustrated her the most was that, despite having a height advantage over her opponent, she wasn't the strongest compared to the other heavyweights on the roster.

However, she prided herself on being one of the more technical heavyweights, using her skills and reach to maintain her advantages. Now, she realized she would have to switch up her game plan and try to force her hands free through brute strength to escape.

Just the thought of resorting to such tactics made her angry, but it was the only way to break free from the hold she found herself in.

Noelle had been wondering how long it would take for Thereisa resort to simple power in order to break out of the Scorpion Crosslock that the Spaniard had her in. Turns out the answer was two slams and two failed escape attempts. Noelle suddenly felt the pull against her arms that she recognized as Thereisa finally figuring out what she needed to do.

Of course, just because Thereisa had finally found her escape route, it didn't mean that Noelle was going to just let her waltz to freedom. She pulled the German up higher, rearing back as she tried to keep the grip that was holding the Heavyweight at her mercy. But the tight gable grip that the princess's hands shared was slowly pulled apart until her fingers finally unclasped, dropping Thereisa to her freedom.

Thereisa would smack the canvas with her body after being able to escape the hold. Now free, the older woman would clutch at her lower back due to the strain that the hold placed on her body.

Taking some time to recover, the older woman would roll herself to the ring ropes and lay there, wanting to take her time and plan out what the next gameplay would be to defeat her younger opponent.

Noelle's submission was broken, but it was obvious that the damage had been done. Even after escaping, Thereisa was not quick to act, instead seeking out the ropes to recover. The Spaniard knew that she couldn't let her opponent get away with that, and also that she could run after Thereisa faster than the Heavyweight could roll away.

Doing exactly that, just before Noelle would overtake Thereisa, she would jump and lift up her leg, intending to come down on top of the brunette with a Leg Drop in order to halt the retreat in its tracks. If Noelle succeeded in slamming her leg down onto Thereisa, the princess would try to follow up with an Armbar. Normal if she caught the German on her back, Reverse if on her stomach.
