Backstage


After a back and forth contest between two young wrestlers, a contest that left each woman so determined to win they forgot about the stipulation until after Kimiko had won the match. The young Japanese woman didn't have much of an idea what she would do with someone who technically had to do whatever she wanted for a prolonged period, most had fantasies or ideas of what went on after a POW match, usually a full marathon of sex and pleasure but Kimiko's innocent mind had nothing of the sort on it, in reality, Kimiko was just planning to hang out with Sheila.

After leaving the ring, Kimiko split away from Sheila to go to the locker room to change. Kimiko was a little slow to get out of her wrestling attire, the effects of the match still lingering making her movements a bit sluggish. Eventually, Kimiko managed to get her underwear, jeans, and shirt on before slipping her shoes on and tying them. Leaving the locker room Kimiko stood in the hallway looking around for Sheila.

For a lot of wrestlers, losing a POW match was among the most shameful losses one could endure. It meant signing away your freedom and your dignity to your opponent - and, while it was strictly speaking up to the victor to determine what they did with their defeated opponent, in practice, the penalty was usually sexual in nature, which only made losing a POW match that much more humiliating of a prospect. Most fans were perfectly well aware of what would go on between closed doors after a POW match. That was a threat that hung over the heads of anyone who lost one. There was a reason so many of these marked blowoffs to feuds and high-stakes gambits.

...But absolutely none of that seemed to register with Sheila Chihara. Although she had just lost a POW match to her fellow Young Lioness, she had come off the ordeal no worse for wear, with a smile on her face and a spring in her step as she always did. After all, both of them had given it their all, and it had been a thrilling match worth remembering! Even if she'd lost, she still had the satisfaction of knowing she had performed at the top of her game. Why would she hold that against anyone? She didn't know what all the fuss was about!

The moment Sheila saw Kimiko step out of her locker room, she hurried over to her side, practically tackling her from the force with which she plowed into the Japanese girl from behind! "Heeeeey!!" Sheila cheered, throwing her arm around Kimiko's side to pull her into a hug - regardless of whether or not Kimiko was ready for it. "Man, this is exciting! It'll be just like a sleepover! Ooh, maybe we can watch a movie? Do you have popcorn?"

Kimiko didn't have many plans for what she and Sheila were going to do for the time ordered, something simple followed by a nice rest sounded perfect though, especially after a match. Looking to one side of the hallway, Kimiko didn't even have time to turn her head the other way before Sheila barreled into her. "Wha---??" Kimiko let out as she was almost knocked off her feet before the woman's arm wrapped around her, unintentionally helping her keep her balance.

Kimiko took a breath, steadying herself and regaining her bearings as Sheila expressed her excitement. The two were both young and new to the company but their personalities were pretty different with Sheila being much more open and energetic compared to Kimiko's more reserved and quiet demeanor. "There might be some popcorn in the dorm kitchen" Kimiko replied with a smile, still a little shaken up from almost being knocked off her feet.

"I have a TV and stuff in my room though" Kimiko said having bought it a couple of weeks after arriving in LAW, technology was still new to her but it seemed she was adjusting well.

If Kimiko thought she could get away with a relaxing, low-energy bit of downtime to unwind after a hard-fought match...then clearly she did not know who she was dealing with. Sheila never seemed to run out of steam, not even after she had been quite literally fighting for her freedom - if anything, the chance to get to know Kimiko more and to spend some time with her just made her even more excited! As soon as she caught sight of her opponent in the hall, Sheila was already bounding toward her at top speeds, practically tackling her as she pulled her into a hug! It'd be like a sleepover, she thought - this was going to be awesome!

Of course, in all her enthusiasm, it seemed to slip Sheila's mind that Kimiko was also a Young Lioness, and since they both stayed in the dorms, an evening with her wasn't going to be all that different with what she typically did. When Kimiko mentioned the dorm kitchen, the Australian girl tapped her chin in thought. "...Oh. Yeah, I guess that's right. I didn't think about how we both probably have similar rooms..." But she shrugged regardless. "Aw, whatever! I still get to hang out with you. And after those moves you pulled out there, I bet you'll be pretty cool to hang out with!~" She slapped Kimiko eagerly on the back, perhaps with more enthusiasm than she had anticipated.

Then, taking a moment to stretch, she stepped back and nodded her head. "Okay, okay, cool! I'm gonna let you lead the way, then..."

Tonight was going to be the first time having anyone other than Akari in her dorm room, though her dorm's layout likely wasn't going to be that much different than Sheila's, either way, having company was still fresh. Kimiko flinched as Sheila slapped her on the back, still a bit sore from their match.

"Let's get going then" Kimiko said before the two walked through the halls, exiting the building and finding can, taking it to the young lioness dorms. Kimiko likely remained her mostly quiet and calm self while Sheila likely seemed as excited as she was the entire night on the way. When they arrived Kimiko paid the driver before exiting the vehicle. Smiling at Sheila as she met her on the sidewalk. "Home sweet home I guess" Kimiko joked, a small tone in her voice hinting how she missed her family back home

"Lets head inside, it's a little cold out here" Kimiko said moving past her feelings walking towards the entrance of the building, holding the door open for Sheila before joining her inside.

Soon enough, the two Young Lionesses arrived at the dorm building. Stepping outside, Sheila took a moment to stretch, working through some of the soreness that still lingered in her joints after a hard-fought match. "Ahhhh!~ Yeah, that feels good." But she turned to face Kimiko with a grin, even more thrilled by the idea of getting to spend some time with a girl who could well end up becoming a new friend. She definitely had respect for anyone who had put up as much of a fight as Kimiko had, and now she would have the opportunity to get to know her better as a person, too.

As she headed through the halls, her bags at her side, Sheila kept pace with Kimiko. As always, there was a spring in her step and a grin on her face. Even if she had just been in a match that forced her to push her limits to the fullest, now that Sheila had the promise of spending time with a new friend in front of her, she was just as energetic as she'd always been. "So, what've ya got? Any video games? You do have two beds, right? Or are we gonna have to share? If your roommate's in, can I meet her too? Oh, can I take a picture for Mei?"

As the two young lioness stepped inside the building Kimiko immediately felt warmer than she was outside. Kimiko instinctually wiped her feet off by the door despite her shoes not being dirty before continuing straight and down the hall with Sheila walking right at her side. As they got to the door of her room Kimiko paused hearing Sheila's question. "Video games?" Kimiko asked while pulling her key out of her pocket and unlocking her door. But then Kimiko realized there were other more important questions Sheila asked. "No I have my own room" Kimiko replied with a smile, suddenly feeling a little special as she opened the door to her room and walked inside, flicking on the light switch by the door as she stepped inside.

"I guess I can sleep on the floor if you want the bed?" Kimiko offered suddenly realizing the conundrum of only having one bed before sitting down on it and reaching for the TV remote and turning it on and turning the channel to whatever was playing pokemon, her favorite show. Making sure the volume was not too loud Kimiko set the remote on her nightstand and turned her attention back to Sheila. "So who is Mei?" Kimiko asked with a smile.

"Oh! Your own room, huh?" Sheila didn't even break her train of thought as she meandered into Kimiko's room, glancing back and forth as she took in the sights. "That's kinda cool. What's it like? Quiet, I guess? You ever get...lonely, though?"

That was a statement that might, perhaps, be easy to misconstrue, but if Sheila even noticed, she certainly didn't care. It was a far more pressing matter that Kimiko had offered her the bed, and at that, she perked up, standing a little straighter as she faced her fellow Young Lioness with a grin. "Oh, I can? Thanks!"

On the subject of Sheila not really caring how her actions could be misconstrued, as soon as Kimiko had offered her the bed, without a second thought, she began to throw her clothes off in mid-stride, tossing them haphazardly across the room without a care to cleaning up. Now down to her underwear, the Australian girl threw herself down onto the bed, letting it shake under the force of her impact as she let out a sigh and sank into the mattress. "Ahh..." She stretched, crossing her legs and planting her hands behind her head. Sheila didn't think twice about it. This was just how she got comfortable, and if she was going to make herself at home here, that was how she'd go about doing it. If anything, Kimiko was lucky she'd decided to leave her underwear on. Or unlucky, depending on who you asked.

"Ahh...~ Yeah, your bed is comfy!~" Sheila chirped. She shuffled around a bit to get herself in the right spot before she looked back over in Kimiko's direction. "Are you sure you're okay with the floor, though?" Once again, she carried on the conversation completely casually and normally, as though she wasn't currently half-naked.

"Oh, Meiyun's my roommate! You might've seen her around. She works at a restaurant in town. But she wants to be the strongest wrestler in the world some day! Brown hair, ponytail, likes to punch things, gets fired up a lot? She's a good friend. And pretty cool."

Kimiko briefly felt a sense of melancholy wash over her when Sheila mentioned having her own room must have been lonely, and truthfully it was. Kimiko felt a bit home sick, only being able to write home, unable to hear the voices of her parents, siblings, and grandfather like she wish she could, Kimiko sighed as she looked down on the floor as Sheila seemed to make herself at home after Kimiko had offered up her bed. When Kimiko looked back up she saw Sheila stripping herself, throwing her clothes all over the room, noticing her friends shirt on one side of the room while her shorts ended up on another.

Kimiko looked at her friend with a mix of confusion and shock, it was certainly a first in many ways for the young Japanese woman, it was the first time she had every met someone with a lack of care or even shame, and it was also the first time she saw anyone she wasn't related to in such little clothing. Kimiko closed the door and remained quite as Sheila settled in on top of her bed. Walking further into the room, Kimiko plopped down onto the floor, it certainly wasn't comfortable to sit on, and definitely wouldn't be too pleasant to sleep on. Kimiko turned her head towards Sheila hearing the woman answer who her friend was, and all Kimiko could think of was how patient of a person Meiyun must have been to share a space with Sheila full time. It wasn't like Kimiko disliked Sheila, some company was nice, but Sheila certainly was more of a free spirit than Kimiko was.

Kimiko kept shifting her weight, finding it hard to get comfortable on the floor as she turned her attention to the TV and her favorite show.

A lot of thoughts were going through Kimiko's head, but for better or worse, Sheila wasn't bothered by them. As soon as she had mentioned her feeling lonely by herself, that thought had slipped out of the Australian's head in favor of getting comfortable and settling in - and she proceeded to strip off her clothes and toss them haphazardly around the room with nary a care in the world. It didn't matter to her what Kimiko would think of her penchant for casual nudity, nor for her lack of organization. She was just living her life - even the thought of losing a POW match and conceding her freedom to her opponent barely seemed to slow her down.

As Kimiko focused on the TV, Sheila scooted over to the foot of the bed, watching with rapt attention. "Ooh, ooh, I think I know this episode!~" she chirped, perching at the edge of the bed on her hands and knees. "Is this the one where Team Rocket has this big scheme to capture Pikachu and James disguises himself but then they do something stupid and Pikachu blows them off into space? Or..." She looked off in thought for a moment before that too passed through her head, and she instead turned to where Kimiko was crouched on the floor, shifting her weight back and forth. It didn't look the most comfortable, and that made her raise an eyebrow with concern.

Sheila moved over to the side, patting the mattress. "Hey, why don't you come up here with me? It'll be comfier, and there's plenty of room for both of us!"
