Akiha Kosha (D) vs Melody Serperior - Cutting the Snake's Head

Despite Melody's entire body aching from crashing into stairs earlier, the greenette was still in the fight! She got back up to her feet, right as Akiha jumped off the ropes, aiming for Melody with a Moonsault!

At the moment where the two were supposed to collide, however, Melody would wrap her arms at Akiha's shoulder and leg, flipping her an extra rotation in the air as she countered her Moonsault with a spine-rattling Powerslam!

Akiha was now in the air, coming towards her opponent, intent on ending this match with a bang. Though to her surprise, it seemed that Melody still had a lot of fight left in her. The green-haired girl had managed to get to her feet and caught Akiha before slamming her down into the canvas with a devastating power slam. The Japanese wrestler would let out a cry of pain as her body flopped on the wrestling mat. She would let out a few groans and hold her back while winching in pain.

Finally, Melody managed to reverse Akiha's offense, fighting back against her foe as she slammed the red haired woman into the ground! Not wanting to let up her offense, Melody would rush the ropes, trying to not leave any breathing room for Akiha, rebounding and jumping as she approached her rival, spinning her body forwards as she aimed her back for the red-haired woman's body for a Running Swanton!

Akiha was hurting at the moment, still dazed from her own moving being reversed. She would shake her head, trying to recompose herself but suddenly she would hear the crowd roaring. Something big was about to happen, she would attempt to open her eyes and move. But then she would feel an impact as Melody landed on top of her, causing the Raven hair wrestler's eyes to go wide as she gasped for air. Being hit by two devastating moves in a row had left her in a weakened state, she would now groan on the ground.

With Akiha left weakened, the greenette would attempt to go for one last attack to get the wind completely out of Akiha's body. Rolling to her feet, the greenette would hit ropes with her back once more, before rushing the smaller woman, before jumping, and aiming her knees at Akiha's body!

If her attack successfully landed, Melody would swiftly attempt to cover Akiha for the pin, hoping her attack series was enough to keep her rival down!

The Japanese wrestler was still on the ground, aching in pain and gasping for some oxygen at the moment. However, she would be given little time to catch her breath and recover as she was once again attacked by Melody who struck her with two knees in the chest, taking out what little air Akiha had. She couldn't even let out a scream as she was out of oxygen at the moment.

Down on the ground, Akiha would feel her opponent covering her. The referee would slide between the two of them and raise her hand in the air before bringing it down for the pin count.

"ONE!"

Melody's attacks worked out perfectly, as Aliha was left as a hurting, gasping mess on the floor. With that, Melody tried to go for the pin. She didn't expect her rival to be done just yet, but the pin would be a good indicator for how much energy she had left in the match.

The ref would shout for the first count, and steadily, her hand would go down for the second time to declare:

"TWO!"

Akiha would hear the referee come down for the two count. She knew that if she didn't kick out now, she would lose not just a regular match but her debut match. She still had energy left and this was going to be the end of it. As the referee raised her hand up, the Japanese wrestler would kick out and stop the count at a solid two. The crowd would roar at sight while the referee held up the two fingers to indicate the pint count. The announcers would comment about how the match wasn't over yet. The raven hair wrestler would exhale in relief, knowing she was still in the match.

"NO!"

Melody shook her head as Akiha kicked out, pushing herself to her feet as the ref showed the two count in the air. Melody would rise up to her feet, and take a deep breath, trying to remove her frustration from her mind. It was natural that the debutting wrestler wouldn't go down after a few moves. The greenette was going to need to step up her offense before that was the case.

As she rose, she awaited her rival to pull herself up, at least to a seat or her feet...before attempting to ram her leg into Akiha's head for a Roundhouse Kick!

Akiha would gasp for air, relieved that she managed to kick out of the pin. It would have been embarrassing to lose on her first match this early. She would then roll onto her chest as her opponent got off her and deeply inhale. The match was still on, and the Japanese wrestler needed to get on the offensive again. After all, surviving wasn’t good enough; you needed to dominate and win!

The raven-haired wrestler would attempt to push up and get back onto her feet. As she did, she would see Melody going for a kick. Though she was too exhausted to dodge. Instead, she raised her arm up, letting it take the hit instead of her head. The impact would cause her to take several steps back, her arm was screaming in pain now, after taking the kick.
