Presents of War: Ivy Aster vs Thea Asters

Standard POW Match

Ivy Aster had rarely fought this alone since her debut at LAW. If Ivy was not fighting a tag match with her mentor, Tiki Lowell, then she would have support in the crowd. Either Tiki herself, or her little sister Hortensia. And if neither of them could be there in the crowd, then Ivy could at least count on them watching, ready to blow up her phone to talk about it the moment it ended.

Ivy had none of that today. She knew that Tiki and Hortensia were actually together right now, but they weren't watching the match. Tiki didn't even know that Ivy was fighting today, and Hortensia wouldn't know how it went until she was informed by the elder sister. This was all intentional though, because today was Tiki's birthday, and Hortensia was currently keeping her distracted while Ivy fought to win a present to surprise her with.

That present, was Thea Asters. She and Tiki had fought in the Semifinals of the 2023 Queen of the Ring Tournament, where Thea had cheated her way to victory. Tiki had been winning the whole match, until Thea attacked the ref, and then used the opportunity to launch a machine gun-esque barrage of blows into Tiki's crotch until Ivy's mentor was forced to submit. Once, not if, but once Ivy won this match, she would put a ribbon on Thea, and deliver her straight to Tiki for her to take payback for being so badly cheated and robbed of a spot in the finals of such a prestigious tournament.

Ivy made her entrance as coldly as ever, but something was undeniably different from what was normal for her. Normally Ivy carried, or at least projected, a serene coolness. But today Ivy walked with a fire encased within her ice, pushing to melt through and be unleashed upon Thea. This was because Ivy didn't just want to make her mentor happy with Thea as a gift, she wanted to punish the so-called Shining Fairy for what she had done to Tiki.

Thea smiled confidently, beyond confidently in fact. Tonight was her first entrance and match as LAW's Queen of the Ring and she was eager to make a statement. Well mostly, admittedly she would not actually be entering with her crown tonight. Mostly because she had a special attire custom ordered to go with said crown but it wasn't ready just yet so instead today would be her 'last' entrance as the shining fairy Thea Asters, after today it would mark a whole dawn but she intended to make this last match as her current persona a high note.

Tossing her hair back and deciding she looked good Thea would nod to herself as she got up and walked through the back stage area towards the entrance ramp, a confident yet dark expression on her face as she did so, fully prepared to win this match. Especially since she hadn't even heard of her opponent tonight. Ivy or something or other. Thea barely remembered her first name but she was new in the league and was probably barely worth Thea's time, but would make a suitable opponent for this last match as the Shining Fairy. But despite that she would give the fans a tease of her future in the form of what will be her new entrance music.

Coming out and striking the pose with her arms out as she had come to be known in LAW Thea would then begin to strut down the ramp confidently with a smirk on her face. Looking as regal and beautiful as a queen should, even without her crown. Approaching the ring and daintily climbing the steps onto the outside apron Thea would walk forward a bit, holding onto the top rope and throwing her head back, posing for the crowd once more who booed and jeered in response, albeit mixed with some cheers and cat calls from the people who liked villains, or at least, this particular villains body. Slipping between the ropes with pure elegance Thea would stand to her full height and toss her hair back haughtily before approaching her corner and leaning against it in preparation for the match, having barely paid any attention to her opponent in the process.

Judging by the utter indifference with which Ivy had been regarded by Thea, the Brit could only figure that her opponent didn't know who she was. Not even trash talk about what the blonde had done to her mentor en route to becoming Queen of the Ring. Good, Ivy thought. She was hoping that Thea would be just as surprised as Tiki would be when they saw each other.

Ivy was paying more attention to Thea than she was getting back, but she didn't talk to her foe either. She would be fine staying wordless with most any of her opponent's, but usually still gave some greeting out of courtesy. Thea, however, was not somebody who would be given any sort of courtesy. If Ivy had the opportunity to hurt and to beat Thea, she planned to take it.

Once the bell rang, Ivy would let Thea take the center, instead going on a curved path that kept her near a set of ropes. The purplette would then jump up onto that top rope, bounce down into it once, then on the second bounce, launch. But Ivy would fly through the air not up, but forwards, at a downwards angle. She would land with one foot, then shoot her other out as she went into a slide to take out Thea's legs. Betting that the Aussie's attention would have been focused high enough that she wouldn't be ready to defend an attack on her legs. If that worked, then Ivy would push herself up, and then come right back down with an elbow aimed at the back of Thea's head.

Barely having paid any attention to her soon to be opponent Thea would focus on her preening and grand standing for the time being, not even paying a glance to Ivy until the match was just about to start. Finally bringing her eyes to the girl she would smirk softly in a amused. 'Well someone is rather plain. Hopefully she at least screams fun.' Thea thought to herself while approaching the center of the ring with her hands up, confident about her ability to out grapple and potentially even out muscle the woman. What she hadn't been expecting was for the girl to strafe around her instead, forcing Thea to turn in place watching her wearily.

Granted she could have given chase but while she was egotistical she was no fool, she knew that doing so would only yield advantage to her opponent, however minute a factor that would be didn't matter to Thea, no she wanted this to be a perfect victory, and making a rookie mistake like that would not help towards that end. So imagine then Thea's surprise as Ivy turned and leapt onto the ropes, bouncing onto them then backwards, rapidly approaching the blonde in the process in a way that instinctively made her raise her arms up higher in order to try and catch Ivy out of the air and turn her move to her advantage.

Only that wasn't what would happen. Ivy had landed far lower than Thea anticipated and ended up taking her legs out from under her! "Ugh!" Thea cried out softly in pain as she hit the mat, groaning softly in pain, about to lift herself up only to take an elbow to the back of her head! "Agh!" Thea cried out in pain, turning and clutching her head in pain pain while kicking her legs against the mat in agony from the blow!

As a wrestler, Ivy had taken to the frequent use of feints and misdirection tactics in order to spur her offense forward, a stylistic preference that she had picked up from Tiki. Thus a tool she was more than pleased to be able to batter Thea with. The slide put the fairy girl on the ground, and then the Brit planted her down into it with her elbow.

Ivy would climb on top of Thea's back after her strike, and grab the arms off of the blonde's head. With a cheater like Thea, you always had to know where the hands were at all times. Technically that was a true statement for any wrestler, but it applied doubly so when those hands belong to somebody who was willing to use the "expanded playbook," so to speak.

So once Ivy had Thea's arms under control, while sitting between her opponent's shoulder blades, the purplette would snake her legs around Thea's throat and start choking her with a Headscissor. Ivy wasn't expecting to win off this, for as fraudulent a Queen of the Ring champion as Thea was, she wasn't totally worthless a wrestler. But still, a KO move where Thea wouldn't be able to crawl to the ropes to escape? Ivy would take the quick win if it was in the cards.

Thea was stuck underneath Ivy following the elbow drop from the woman she wasn't looking to get off of her any time soon. Climbing up on top of her shoulders and seizing her hands in addition to the dominant position on top of her. 'Shit.' Thea thought to herself, already squirming and twisting underneath Ivy, the lack of usage of her hands already making it difficult for her to find much ways out of this.

Made even worse by Ivy's legs now wrapping around her neck for a head scissor hold on top of that! "Nghhh!" Thea groaned out in pain and breathlessness, kicking her legs wildly against the mat before pushing her feet against it, trying to push herself forward and lift her hips up in order to build some leverage. If successful she would try and pull her hands to the side while pulling them down and lifting her hips up, trying to unseat Ivy and pull her down to send the girl face first into the mat to break her hold!

Ivy locked her Headscissor in tight, thighs burying themselves into Thea's throat. She felt the blonde's body shifting behind her, as well as a downward pull on her arms. It was quickly clear to Ivy what her opponent was trying to do; Thea was attempting to set her body at a steep enough angle that gravity would combine with the downwards pull and send Ivy off.

But Ivy was a strong girl, able to pull her arms back up against Thea's pull to keep herself steady atop the object of her spite. With the Brit unmoved, the fairy girl's attempt at countering was accomplishing nothing more than sticking her ass up in the air as Ivy's thighs dug deeper into her throat. "Stuck, are we?" Ivy taunted. "If you can't handle this, I suppose I could put you in something else instead, if you say 'please.'"

Thea was determined to not let this brat embarrass her so early on but dammit if she wasn't being stubborn as hell with this hold. Pushing against Thea's pull on her arms to prevent her plan from coming to fruition to unseat the woman. Gritting her teeth furiously at the girl's taunt Thea would absolutely refuse to even entertain that idea but she was no less desperate. So if plan A wouldn't work then she'd have to resort to plan B.

With her hips up in the air it still left Thea with the vantage point in comparison. Turning her hips to one side she would then throw herself to the side, twisting with everything she had, not to break the hold, but bring the two rolling over onto their backs respectively. if successful in doing so she would push her legs against the mat, pushing back before curling her abs in and throwing her legs over herself, trying to roll over Ivy's body until her hips dropped down on Ivy's face and the head scissor hold that the girl had locked on her would cause the woman to be folded up for a pin!

Ivy knew that Thea had no plans on saying please, but she also knew how pissed she would make the Cheating Fairy by just suggesting it. However, The finally managed to find a tactic that might actually accomplish something towards escaping and countering Ivy's Headscissor. Rolling over so that the Brit was on her back and Thea over her.

Ivy instantly recognized this as a reversal pin attempt, so she would disengage her Headscissor, pull her legs in, and shoot them right back out in between Thea's shoulder blades, launching herself slightly forward in the process. After hitting that, Ivy would bounce her hips up, raising her legs high up into the air, and then trying to bring her heel down onto Thea's forehead with a Scissor Kick and spike her head into the mat with it.

If Ivy was able to connect those, she would then scoot forward and try to lock Thea into a Figure Four Headscissor. "Did you really think I'd give you a chance to breathe?" she would taunt. "You'll have to do a lot better than this if you want my thighs off of your throat, Miss Frauding Fairy."

Thea was absolutely intent on breaking free of this damnable submission hold that Ivy was utterly insistent on keeping on her. Even if it costed her the match somehow she would get free, no. matter. what. Thusly she managed to turn the two over before diving forward to perform a modified roll up pin on Ivy! Unfortunately however it wouldn't be long before her opponent caught on and voluntarily released her hold, kicking Thea from her in the process!

"Ngh!" Thea cried out from the impact but despite the pain she knew this was an opportunity. Taking the momentum of the thrust of Ivy's knees Thea would tuck her head in and dive into a roll to gain distance away from Ivy, which in turn would allow her to escape from Ivy's attempted follow up attack. All the way to the ropes the blonde would pop up to her feet, her arms draping over the ropes to keep herself up as she glared at her opponent.

"I hope you enjoyed that... Cause I'm going to make you pay for it!" Thea yelled out as she pushed herself against the ropes to rebound off them and launch herself at Ivy, throwing her leg out as she neared to try and deliver a running knee strike straight at Ivy's face!
