A Night Out (for Highfly, open thread)

Kyo expected laughter from JJ-- not necessarily condescending laughter, but amused laughter, which would totally have been warranted after the way he had botched his throw. Instead, though, she clapped at him, and complimented him, comparing his approach to that of wrestling. Seeing JJ's smile, just as before, did a lot to put Kyo at ease, and he smiled back, absent mindedly stretching his arms behind his back.

"And is how you bowl how you approach wrestling as well?" he asked, playfully leaning a little closer to her. "Relying a lot on incredible power and strength, and perhaps a little more luck than accuracy? Let's see if you can beat me a second time then."

You look amazing, he inwardly wanted to say, for the second time that day, as he looked at JJ. Instead, he turned, confidently took hold of his spare, and sent it rolling down the lane. He smiled as it struck the remaining three pins...and then frowned as one pin remained stubbornly upright.

"Except my technique seems a little off today," he sighed, before glancing back at JJ. "Over to you."

"Honey I don't need luck when I am this good." JJ said with a wink before grabbing her ball. Of course she flung it hard but it was off the mark, with her shrugging at the result. "Besides the ring is where it is really at and I'll have gold around my waist soon." JJ said before stepping back up and flinging the ball down the lane managing to miss everything.

"Well that sucked."

Kyo watched as JJ made another throw down her own lane...and tried not to focus too much on her backside as she did so (not that the ebony beauty was making it easy for him). He watched as she ball described a lazy arc down the lane, completely missing the entire row of pins. To his own credit, Kyo did not laugh at JJ's misfortune...but he couldn't help but smile at her.

"At least you can say you're a better wrestler than bowler," he said, standing up as the next round began.

Time passed. Over the next few rounds, Kyo's score rapidly outpaced JJ's; long before the game was over, it was already clear who was winning. While JJ made a good effort of it, in the end Kyo's score almost doubled hers.

Almost, that was. There were more than a few minutes where Kyo missed completely, or didn't get the full strike he had intended. And that had been completely down to JJ being a distracting presence...although, Kyo had to admit, she was a very welcome distraction. In truth, he found himself enjoying exchanging banter with her as they played, to the point that he even forgot he was trying to win.

"Well," he said, looking at the final score, "I guess we can say this evens the score between us after our last match. Unless, of course, you want a proper rematch between us at some point...and I certainly wouldn't say no." He leaned his arm against the wall of the exist, his face a little closer to hers. "So where to now, the beach?"

JJ was bowling pretty terribly but she didn't care. She was having fun and Kyo was a lot of fun to be around. She was comfortable around him and he was perfectly fine with her figure having as much defined muscle as it did curve a rarity here in Japan. JJ found that her build intimidated a lot of men but not this guy. His own fit figure was quite pleasing to her too and she made no secret of that.

She leaned in close when Kyo spoke and moved a hand to wrap around his lower back gently moving her hand along. "I think the beach sounds perfect. Lets go and relax for a bit." JJ said with a smile. She had a purple bikini on underneath her clothing and she was quite eager to show that off. She couldn't wait to see what Kyo was going to wear, or not wear depending on how you looked at it. She was going to make this a day he would remember.

If someone were to tell Kyo that a lot of men found JJ's powerful build to be intimidating, then he would have declared them to be idiots. As far as he was concerned, the human body, when moulded by fitness, was a thing of beauty, and for this reason he found powerful women to be just as attractive as slender ones. And JJ, with her finely sculpted abs, arms rippling with muscle and well proportioned upper body, was no exception.

An outsider might have then wondered aloud of that wae why Kyo was in LAW: because of the many powerful, strong, attractive women he could wrestle against. If someone had made that comment, Kyo would have blushed, but otherwise made no comment.

All the same, Kyo involuntarily shivered as JJ learned that powerful body against his, teasingly running an arm against his lower back and whispering that hitting the beach was a great idea. Despite turning a deep shade red, Kyo maintained his composure and nodded. "A, um...a bit of sun would do us good. I can't wait to see what you wear-- I MEAN....ahm....I hope you came prepared."

A few minutes later, Kyo strode out of the beach locker room, wearing a simple pair of red trunks that clung tightly.to.his midsection,.leaving his fit upper body and legs bare..It was no different than his wrestling attire, really, minus the boots and pads.

JJ was nowhere to be seen for the moment. Figuring that she was still changing, Kyo stretched a bit, unconsciously showing off his fit body to the onlookers,.and began to apply some sun lotion to himself...

JJ had her purple bikini on underneath her clothing so that was an easy change to make but she was putting the right amount of sunscreen on to make her body glisten in the sun.

She came out and saw Kyo, holding her arms out to the side with a smile making sure to stay her hips as she walked. "What do ya think of this?" JJ asked with a smile walking right up to Kyo, making it a point to gently press against him.

"You are looking real fine, that ring body of yours stands out in a good way." She added with a wink.

Truth to be told, Kyo had been expecting JJ to do something sneaky and flirtatious, like sneak up on him from behind and hug him or cover his eyes. Instead, however, JJ strode proudly into view, and Kyo's attention was immediately drawn to the purple bikini that barely contained her powerful ebony body. Fit abdominal and arm muscles glistened with sunscreen, and the way she walks particularly drew attention to her thick hips.

Kyo, for lack of a better word, was awestruck. True, JJ's ring outfit had been almost as revealing, but then again he had not had much time to focus on the contours of her body back when the two had been furiously fighting one another.

As JJ moved up and teasingly pressed against him, Kyo smiled and pressed a little against her in turn, enjoying the feeling of her breasts pressing up against his chest and their abs rubbing slightly. "I like it," he replied, suddenly feeling a lot more confident after she had complimented his ring body. "There are no tasseled boots to distract me this time. And thanks; I was afraid you'd be bored of my ring busy by now. I'm glad I was wrong."

The tensions of this closeness was palpable. God, he was so tempted to kiss her right now. The two were almost forehead to forehead right now."

"You look amazing," he breathed, before regaining his composure. "So, um...what do you want to do? We can enjoy the sun and just sunbathers, or go for a swim, or go get some drinks from that mini bar over there, or..." He was stammering, he realized. As he often did when in the company of a beautiful woman.

Birds adorning the blue skies, some flying solo, other in V-shape patterns.Gentle breeze. Sun, sand and the sea. It was a perfect day to spend time on the beach, which Allison was doing at present. Reclined on a lounge chair, legs crossed and lathered up with sun-screen, the raven-haired woman was busy soaking it all in. sunglasses masked her darting eyes, gazing over the picturesque view of the area bustling with activity and a soda in hand.

People of all shapes, ages and sizes were out there taking a plunge in the waters, basking under the sun like herself, enjoying picnics and destressing from their taxing and routine lives. Allison too was here with the same agena, to loosen up and relax, away from all things LAW. The training, matches, recovery; none of that was on her mind. Her LAW career had been off to a fabulous start, her entertaining performances week after week paving way to establish herself as the new hotshot rising through the ranks.

Content was the word that could be possibly used to summarise what she was feeling, even though she was hungry for more. But at this moment, the beach being a bubble detached from the real-world, Allison wasn't thinking about her career, or who to fight, how to get better. None of that.

"He really said that? That man, has got the hots for you, Gina..." Allison cooed, a knowing smirk curving onto the lips, deep in converasation with a woman who seemed to be in her early fifties, but still got it in the looks department. She was at the beach like her, to relax and rejuvanate and struck up a conversation with Allison, who coincidentally was besides her chair.

"Gee...I wonder why he likes you..?' the raven-haired lips puckered sarcastically, rubbing her chin as if she was lost in thought."Maybe beacuse you still got it? With a banging hot bod and THAT rack..." Allison brought both her arms in front of her chest, mimicking the appearance of large bosoms and mouth shaped into an 'O' to make her point clear. "I want to be all over you, you vixen. Don't worry, just talk to him and —"

Allison's head slowly turned, her eye catching a familiar face out of the corner of her eye. It was Janella Johnson, the same woman she had met in the ring sometime back and man, looking tall,buff and handsome. Looking from the way they both clung to each other, it seemed they both more than knew each other.

"Excuse me Gina, I gotta go. You enjoy and I assure you, he's gonna be putty in your hands" with that being said, Allison turned around, a coy smile up her face.

"Janella! Hey!" her hips swayed side-to-side strutting over towards the ebony powerhouse. Both of them were in front of her and once they turned around, Allison planned to wrap her arm from the side for a side-hug. "It's been quite sometime since our rather eventful meetup, no? How are you, JJ?" Allison arm slowly releasing the hug and took a gulp of the soda while subtly giving the man beside her an approving once-over...

JJ was walking with Kyo and so enraptured with him, looking up and smiling at him that she didn't notice Allison until she was right on top of them. That smile disappeared and turned into a nasty scowl. JJ didn't return the hug at all instead standing with one arm around Kyo and the other on her hip. "Honey, you call it fateful I call it lucky. Your pasty rookie ass got lucky against me in the ring one day. Congrats! You know damn well when we go at it again I'm gonna stand tall over you like the queen I am." JJ said before watching Allisons eyes giving Kyo a looking over.

JJ pulled Kyo close and then running the hand from her hip down his chest. "I see you looking him over and I don't blame you but honey this king deserves a real queen. You just don't make the cut." JJ said smiling again and looking up at Kyo. "I guess I should introduce you. This is Allison Ford, cocky rookie who did in fact beat me in the ring. However we all know the better woman didn't get the win that day." She said winking up at Kyo.

Kyo was so entranced by JJ's...well, everything, her eyes, her body, the way her arm was circling enticingly around his waist...that he almost didn't notice the newcomer until she hard practically barged in, excitedly inserting herself into the conversation with a friendly side hug on JJ. A hug that JJ, quite notably, did not reciprocate. The woman was tall, raven haired, buxom...and was eyeing Kyo hungrily, a fact that caused Kyo's face to redden and caused JJ to become even more tense.

The next thing. Kyo knew, JJ was practically pulling. Kyo closer to her as she introduced Alison Ford, a former opponent of hers. Ah, that explained it: Alison definitely had the build of a wrestler, and if she had managed to defeat JJ then she had to be tough. Maybe not on the same level as someone like Alaina Sanders, but definitely a force to be reckoned with.

"Ah...pleased to meet you Miss Ford," Kyo said, offering a handshake, still feeling awkward at being caught between these two feuding amazons. "I apologize that I didn't see how and JJ face each other, but i would look forward to your rematch." He reddened a little further when he realized he had to back JJ. "You'll pardon me, of course, if I'll be cheering against you."
