Audrey Hunter vs. The Dragon Idols - Facing a Bigger Hunter

It had all happened so quickly, Yukino practically hadn't realized that her instincts had kicked in at the right time for her to dodge Audrey's next attack - not until she looked up to see that she was a safe distance away, with Nashi lying at her feet. Her heart was still pounding with adrenaline, and she could feel the hairs on the back of her neck standing on end as her body tensed up rigidly. That was close. So close, she felt like she should have been the one to go down. But, she soon realized, she wasn't getting anywhere by standing around doing nothing. For however brief a moment, Audrey was open. And Yukino had the chance to move in for the kill - she couldn't waste it!

Gritting her teeth, she slipped behind Audrey, taking hold of her arm and twisting it into place behind her for the hammerlock! Sure, Audrey was bigger than her - but if she targeted her joints, focusing on hitting her where it hurt and whittling away at her stamina, then Yukino could bring her to her knees! Her brow furrowed in focus as she cranked at Audrey's arm with all her might, leaning her full weight against it. She just needed to focus everything she could on making this work, and she couldn't let anything distract her - not even how Nashi had tried to fight her way back up, only to slip and fall!

"N-Nashi-!?" Hearing her partner cry out, the white-haired girl looked up with a gasp, and her eyes went wide. Yukino winced at the thought of the pain her friend might have been in - to say nothing of the fact that she couldn't help but feel responsible for dragging her into this, if she felt it necessary to get involved. But that couldn't get between her and taking the fight to Audrey! "Nashi, be careful...I don't want you getting yourself hurt, okay?" Looking to deliver even more pain against Audrey's arm, Yukino took a step back from her to get some more distance, while still holding her arm against her back - and then swung her knee upward against Audrey's twisted elbow, looking to land a blow directly on the joint!

Having her arm worked on by Yukino, Audrey tried her best to retain her bearing. But then, she saw Nashi rising back up before she went to kick her right at her stomach. "GUHH!" Audrey staggered on her feet, but she remained standing. Then, she got an idea even as she tried to deal with the pain she was currently experiencing.

"Haa... y-you call that a kick?! Give me your best shot, girl!" Audrey said, trying to provoke Nashi even as her arm was being worked on by Yukino. She was planning for Nashi to deliver her next attack so that Audrey could suddenly pivot, yanking Yukino with her so that Nashi would end up hitting her own partner instead.

It was all or nothing at this point, Nashi and Yukino were both at their wits end, who knew how much longer the Idol duo could take from the blue veteran. Nashi was on her last legs as this was their endgame. Yukino had Audrey in a tight hammerlock, all Nashi needed to do was use a knee strike to daze her so both could use what strength they have for a teamup move and win the handicap bout! All that mattered now was if Nashi could pull herself together to deliver the blow.

Nashi heard Yukino shout back and nodded firmly."Don't worry I got this!!!" She shouted as she about to make her way to the blue heavyweight until she heard what Audrey said. Audrey mocked Yukino's kick saying it didn't do much which made the pink Idol growl."OHH YEAH!? TRY THIS!!!" She shouted as Nashi used what strength she could to run at Audrey aiming to lift her knee up to hit her square in the chest for all to see right here and now! That was until she saw who got hit!"YUKINO!?" She gasped in utter shock, it all happened so fast she had no idea Audrey was able to pivot so fast! YUKINO I'M SORRRY!!!" She let out as she quickly went to try and catch Yukino in her arms checking on her not focusing on the match at hand."Please tell me your okay!" She called out as she wanted to make sure that she didn't just doom the duo from a near tag team victory but to also make sure her best friend was perfectly fine.

Yukino's teeth had clenched in a grimace, and her brow was furrowed in a glare. She had to put every bit of effort into keeping this hold in place, contorting Audrey's arm behind her back. She knew how strong Audrey was; if she wanted to, the heavyweight could well power out of the hold. Yukino just needed to keep this up as long as she could to deal out enough damage - and as long as she had Audrey under control, she was buying time for her partner to recover and make her move!

Yukino looked up to see Nashi gearing up for her next move. As fiery as ever, Audrey's taunts had emboldened her, and she was going to put all that strength behind her blow. Yukino smirked a little - she was sure this could well be what the Idol Dragons needed to turn the tide. But then, at the last minute, just as Nashi was closing into range, Audrey managed to spin around in place - and Yukino was thrown into the path of Nashi's kick!

The white-haired girl barely had time to gasp before Nashi's knee whipped through the air, crashing into her back! Her head cracked backward, and she let out a scream as the pain erupted through her spine. With the air driven out of her lungs, she fell back against Nashi, panting for breath as she slumped backward in her arms. Feeling the pain creep up along her back again, her teeth clenched in a shudder. But no matter how much it hurt, Yukino still knew they had a match to win!

She looked back and forth between Nashi and Audrey, trying to watch her for any moves. "N-Nashi, I'm fine..!" She still hurt; she let out a groan as she felt another ache run through her back. But that could wait. The match was still going, and as long as Audrey was still on the move, she was still a danger. She couldn't have Nashi lose sight of that! "We need to keep focusing on Audrey...we can't let down our guard now!"

Audrey managed to pivot and get Yukino to be struck by Nashi, and she took this opportunity to free herself and stagger back, putting some distance between herself and the team. She needed to regain her bearing in order to get back into the fight, so she would make her way to the ropes, leaning against them as she would take a deep breath, looking to recover so that she could turn the tide. For the time being, it seemed that both Nashi and Yukino were focused with each other, though she could tell that Yukino still had enough sense to try keeping track of her even as she moved away from them.
