March might have appreciated how easily pain could make a girl forget more than she had known in the first place if the pain didn't have her so distracted. With her abs, sides, and back in the meat grinder, she could only try to force herself out of Monami's grip to no avail and complain until the front row was deafened, forgetting that Monami's face was there before her for the smacking and smashing. "I don't even... know what... you're SAYING! AAAGH!", she cried, convinced Monami was making some snide comment.
Her attempts to unhinge the bear from her came up empty, but so too did the pain end, at least in part. Monami's grip shifted enough that March was spouting out every sound of relief known to man and sucking for breaths. She saw the opportunity and started trying to squeeze her hands between her midsection and Monami's arms, but all the while the bear muscled her over. The disorienting faceful of sand sent March into a chorus of complaints again, but none was louder than the one when she flew over the other woman's head.
Sand didn't break a fall particularly well. March felt the reverb from the shock to her shoulders through her whole body, like having a bag full of concrete dumped on her from above. Except this blunt force had come from below, and March slowly teetered over until she lay face-down, groaning atop the sand dune Monami had made with her flying body.

Re: Hare and Bear: Monami "The Bear" Shagura vs. March "The Hare" Michel
Monami would smirk as she slammed her opponent down in the sand. It felt good throwing people around she thought to herself as she cracked her neck and brushed off some sand on her body. So, having planted March on her back, the bearess would release the woman and get up so she could admire her handiwork. For some reason, making a crater in the sand with someone’s head really did seem cooler than just slamming someone in the ring. Plus, it was always nice to see someone ass up on their back from one of her slams.
Chuckling as she walked over to grab a rope from the sides of the beach ring, the she bear planned to start tying her little bunny up. It seemed like the blonde couldn’t hear her earlier, so the dark skinned woman would repeat herself since she was such a nice bear.
“By the way…I said I’m going to call you muscle bunny, muscle bunny~” Monami would giggle as she grabbed a rope and started walking back over to try and tie Marches legs up.

Re: Hare and Bear: Monami "The Bear" Shagura vs. March "The Hare" Michel
March turned her head and blew some sand out of the way of her nose and mouth primarily for the opportunity to complain. "Fuck," she hissed. The Hare's legs still had some go, but her pained shoulders and neck had locked up from the jolting collision with the sand, leaving her arms tense and trembling. She wanted to get up in defiance, but it took frustratingly long for her to get the traction to do it. "I am gonna jump on your head tonight," she said more to herself than to Monami.
She wondered where the bear had gone, anyway. March, never willing to stay put for long, had started to rise and stretch out her pained upper half by the time she spotted the woman on her way back from the side of the ring, rope in hand. "Oh no you don't," March declared, staggering her way to her feet as her body became centered again. "I don't care what... ow..." She rubbed her neck with one hand and put up the stop sign with the other. "...what you want to call me, you're not doing anything with that unless you're tying yourself up."
To reinforce her warning, she steadied her body, took a shuffle step forward, and acted like she was going to grab the rope out of the bear's hands. It was nothing but a feint; she instead tested the basement with a kick meant for Monami's knee, then one aimed at the other knee.

Re: Hare and Bear: Monami "The Bear" Shagura vs. March "The Hare" Michel
Monami would chuckle as she approached the blonde rabbit. Seemed like the woman wanted to bounce on her head. Not that she'd have the chance after the she beast managed to beat her opponent. March would notice that Monami was bringing over the rope, and would quickly face her. "Oh? I could tie you up with one hand behind my back~" the she bear would say as she continued to walk confidently towards the woman. Then, as the rabbit reached for the rope, Monami would move it out of reach. However, this was another one of March's little tricks.
Rather than try to snatch the rope, it was just a feint before the blonde woman went for her real target...a kick to the side of the bearess's knee! Grunting out as her leg was struck, Monami would remain standing while backing away. However, the rabbit wasn't done. March would send a second kick to the she bear's other leg. Causing the dark skinned woman to yelp out as she took the hit. "Aaack! Pesky little rabbit!" Monami would growl out before she would try to punch March in the face with a quick right hook. Looking to clock the blonde bunny with her fist in order to put a stop to those kicks of her's.

Re: Hare and Bear: Monami "The Bear" Shagura vs. March "The Hare" Michel
"I'll tie your foot to your head instead of your hand behind your back then." That image entertained the Hare; most images where she got rough with the people who threw her around a wrestling ring (or into the sand) did. March did want her hands on those ropes to start turning Monami into Origami-Monami (she needed to use that later!), but she knew playing the snatching game with the possibly stronger bear wouldn't get her anywhere. It might leave her on her head again, and she wasn't about to let that happen twice.
But her kicks, they worked. A satisfying crack-crack reverberated out and off of the bleachers from the skin-on-skin contact, and March leaned back, her smile impish. She liked to be called a "pesky little rabbit" (well, she could have done with Hare instead of rabbit). Unfortunately, her neck panged and reminded her not to be too entertained with herself too quickly. The fist flying at her face reminded her of much the same.
It hurt like hellfire to move her head, but panic at being clobbered won out. She ducked and dodged. The punch caught the end of her nose; thankfully, it was the part without anything of note in it but that cartilage stuff, which had always been strange to her about noses. Combined with the kink in her neck from the suplex, even that meager contact surprised her, pained her, and sent her into survival mode. "Shit, ow!" She wrenched her neck back despite the pain, and since her response to everything was "move and swing," the Hare wheeled back, twirled, and swung her leg high, sending a spinning roundhouse at Monami's head before she fell into the sand herself.

Re: Hare and Bear: Monami "The Bear" Shagura vs. March "The Hare" Michel
A part of Monani thought March was unfocused. Something about her attitude but the she bear couldn’t quite put her finger on it. The fact that her punch hit its target was one. It was a pretty reckless and clumsy swing that she’d thrown out of panic. Yet it still managed to smack March in the face. Maybe not the best landing as it mostly clipped the blonde woman. But the blow still had enough force to knock her down. What March lacked in focus she more than made up for in adapting.
As she fell, the nimble hare would manage to lift her leg and nail Monami with a desperate roundhouse to the side of her head. The beach spun a bit as March’s leg smacked against her skull. Causing the she bear to fall back against the ropes before bouncing off them to simply tumble down on her chest. The woman would get a face full of sand as she flopped on her chest, looking KOed as she later there. Luckily Monami was still conscious, as she’d roll over on her back spitting sand out of her mouth and wiping her face off in a daze. “Uuuugh…lucky kick…Heh…” the woman groaned, realizing the irony of a lucky kick from a rabbit making her chuckle at the thought.

Re: Hare and Bear: Monami "The Bear" Shagura vs. March "The Hare" Michel
A part of Monami thought right. March could field a dozen different thoughts, concerns, wild fantasies (ANYTHING) in the span of a few seconds. Fortunately, she had a knack for pulling out the one she needed at the drop of a hat. Usually. There were times when it failed spectactularly, times she didn't acknowledge existed. This was not one of those times. When her foot struck Monami in the face, she knew that she had won this gambit, and she would keep betting on herself again and again.
Once she had flopped onto her side, she celebrated with a waggle of her fingers before deciding it better to rub her stinging nose. "Ugh. Why did it have to be my nose?", she said, adding even more of a nasal whine to her words than she needed. Not planning on the bear answering her question, March pushed herself back to her feet, ready to get back on the move. After she shook off her ills and some of the sand.
She had done so by the time Monami rolled onto her back, and, as one might assume, the Hare was on the move toward her. And to her great pleasure, Monami was busy wiping sand off of her face and might not see her coming. "Who's on first!?", she asked as she leaped into the air from behind Monami's head, aiming to drop both feet on the woman's too-pretty abs.

Re: Hare and Bear: Monami "The Bear" Shagura vs. March "The Hare" Michel
Monami groaned as she slowly began to push herself off her back. March sure had herself a mean kick. The she bear would have to be more careful about those going forward. However, as Monami was wiping her face off, she’d suddenly hear the rabbit yelling behind her. The bearess had expected her opponent to be down longer from the punch. Instead, she’d find March jumping over her, before stomping down on the she bears abs with both feet while she was still laying on the ground.
“GOOOOOOOAAAFFFF!” Monami would grunt out as the air shot from her lungs and out of her mouth in a single blast. Immediately, the she bear would grab her midsection with both of her arms while coughing violently. Soon enough the woman was cradling herself as she curled up into a ball of pain. Reeling badly from the rabbit’s double foot stomp “…uuughh…first…*COUGH COUGH*…what?” Monami coughed out in confusion from March’s shout.

Re: Hare and Bear: Monami "The Bear" Shagura vs. March "The Hare" Michel
March hated baseball, so naturally her only baseball reference (for jumping onto the plate that was Monami's abs) was some dumb comedy skit she had heard once in her life. After she nailed (sort of) the landing with both feet in the sand and a teensy-tiny amount of waving her arms to keep her balance, she gave the bear her elaborate answer. "I 'unno." It was more important to her that she felt the momentum meter swinging back in her direction, and it was a good thing. That sun was becoming hot even to a Hare with boundless energy after all the bumps she had taken. She tried not to think about it or debate whether she should have nabbed some sunscreen like her brain wanted.
She chose to debate about her next move, and, true to form, she didn't waste many brain cells or much time. The blonde peeked at Monami's position before she took off for the nearest set of ropes, her steps slowed in the newly formed woman-shaped hills of sand. But they weren't slowed so dramatically that she couldn't gain the momentum she needed for her plans. "You know what you do with a breathless bear!?" She didn't know, but she was betting it was something like she was about to do to Monami's prone body.
She hopped, caught the middle rope with both feet and the top rope with her hands, and launched off in a near-perfect springboard. In mid-air, she turned and spread her arms, aiming for the flying crossbody. Her latest whoop into the open air to join the rising cries of the still-growing crowd.
Something in the back of her active mind bothered her as she flew. Did Monami still have that one rope?

Re: Hare and Bear: Monami "The Bear" Shagura vs. March "The Hare" Michel
Monami was still coughing as she heard March talking to her. It seemed like she didn’t want to explain her humor to the bear woman. Groaning, Monami would try to recover her strength as she was down in the sand. Slowly she would roll onto her back before hearing the silly rabbit’s latest joke. Honestly as Monami heard the woman’s remark, she had no idea what the answer was. In fact, it kinda sounded made up. However, turning her head, the bearess would find that she had bigger things to worry about as March was hopping onto the ropes.
“Shit!” The dark skinned woman would shout as she watched the Hare springboard off the ropes towards her direction. No doubt planning to land on her in some way, Monami would use a burst of adrenaline to roll herself out of the way for March’s impact. Instead looking to let the rabbit flop down into the sand as she narrowly avoided becoming a landing pad for her opponent.
“…sounds unbearable…” Monami would say after she dodged the Hare’s springboard crossbody. A smile on her face as she made a goofy bear pun out of March’s joke.
