Re: The Riddle of Steel: “The Barbarian Prince” Oscar Orelash vs. “The Steel Colossus” Drake Benton
Seeing Drake charge at him, Oscar knew he had a small window of opportunity to wrangle the match back in his control. Using the rope, Oscar attempted to use the training Honie helped him with to JUMP clean over Drake- hopefully leading to Drake crashing into the cage!

Re: The Riddle of Steel: “The Barbarian Prince” Oscar Orelash vs. “The Steel Colossus” Drake Benton
The crowd was growing concerned for Oscar under Drake’s onslaught. But the resilient and resourceful Barbarian Prince should never be counted out! Oscar, with the help of the ropes, jumped over Drake. The Steel Colossus kept going because the Drake train has no brakes and smashed into the steel cage. Drake collapsed against the cage and was laying on the middle rope in a crumpled heap.

Oscar stuck the landing after jumping over Drake! Looking back at Drake as he lay across the top rope, Oscar grinned with pride and made a mental note to thank Honie for the training advice later. Approaching the stunned Colossus, Oscar attempted to reach down and wrap his arms around Drake- trying to pull him away from the ropes and hit him with his signature German Suplex- the strength check! Not just one, though, but rather attempting to hit Drake with three back-to-back!

Re: The Riddle of Steel: “The Barbarian Prince” Oscar Orelash vs. “The Steel Colossus” Drake Benton
Oscar seized the momentum. He grabbed Drake by the waist and hoisted him up. For a moment Drake expected another reverse bearhug and tried grabbing at the ropes. But instead, Oscar hurled Drake backwards in a German suplex. Oscar kept himself pressed to Drake’s back and deadlifted Drake into the air, flinging him back overhead in a second German suplex. But Oscar was not done. The Barbarian Prince, in an impressive feat of strength, pulled the Steel Colossus up and overhead again to nail a third German suplex! Drake lay stunned spread eagle on the mat.

With Drake spraled out on the canvas, Oscar attempted to try and finish Drake off as soon as he could. Releasing Drake, Oscar scampered over to the nearest corner and started to climbit. Once he was on the top of the post, Oscar took a moment to balance himself before taking a flying leap- attempting to nail the prone Drake with a senton splash!!

Re: The Riddle of Steel: “The Barbarian Prince” Oscar Orelash vs. “The Steel Colossus” Drake Benton
Drake rolled onto his stomach. He saw Oscar getting onto the top turnbuckle in the corner.
”Shit!” he thought to himself.
Drake was too beat up by Oscar’s suplex barrage. He rose slowly.
He pushed himself, despite his head being hazy, to get to his knees. Oscar had reached the top turnbuckle and was positioning himself. Drake was out of reach of his foe on the turnbuckle. His legs were still spaghetti wobbly. Oscar launched himself. Drake did all he could do and planted his feet and slightly squatted, bracing himself for the best.
The Barbarian Prince came crashing into the Steel Colossus. A loud smack from the impact echoed in the arena as Oscar’s legs and rear smashed into Drake’s shoulders and upper chest. Drake staggered, his back and shoulders were on fire, but miraculously he was still standing with his arms wrapped around Oscar’s legs. Drake had caught Oscar Orelash mid-air. Hoisting Oscar up in a powerbomb position, Drake went with the momentum of Oscar’s blow and swung him around to smash him back-first into the steel cage. Drake would then recoil, spin around, and bring Oscar down with a thunderous powerbomb!

Re: The Riddle of Steel: “The Barbarian Prince” Oscar Orelash vs. “The Steel Colossus” Drake Benton
Oscar's eyes looked like they were going to pop out of his head as Drake caught him mid-air. Even the crowd went wild to see Drake manage such a feat after the beating he's taken so far. Before he knew what was happening, Oscar found himself being flipped up in a powerbomb position and being slammed against the cage wall- the impact rattling his head just long enough for Drake to powerbomb Oscar into the canvas with a gasp before going limp! With his shoulders on the canvas, the ref slid in to start the count!

Re: The Riddle of Steel: “The Barbarian Prince” Oscar Orelash vs. “The Steel Colossus” Drake Benton
The crowd were on their feet in stunned disbelief of Drake’s incredible counter. Drake knew Oscar was resilient and hard to keep down, so the standard powerbomb sitting pin wouldn’t do. Drake dove on Oscar and bodily shoved his opponent’s shoulders down grapevine-style. The ref and the crowd, fully into it, counted.
ONE!
TWO!
THREEEE!!!
Upon the ringing of the bell, Drake rolled off of Oscar and laid against the bottom rope. His chest heaved up and down with every breath after the immense power he exerted in the counter and powerbomb on Oscar. Drake looked around at the crowd. Most of them, who loved Oscar, weren’t happy the Barbarian Prince lost a fall. But some of them, more than usual, were cheering him too. Drake smiled through labored breaths and then looked back at Oscar. This time he held up his hand reassuringly in a stop gesture, signaling that he wasn’t going to jump the bell again.

Re: The Riddle of Steel: “The Barbarian Prince” Oscar Orelash vs. “The Steel Colossus” Drake Benton
Oscar quietly grunted as he rolled to his side and slowly got to his knees. Welp, that sucked big time. Being pinned under Drake was a scenario Oscar had grown tired of- but at least Oscar managed to score the first fall for once in one of these multi-fall matches. Silver linings, at least. Maybe believing that he could put Drake down so soon and end the match was wishful thinking. Either way, it was too late to reflect on mistakes now. Things were going to have to be settled in the third and final round- and Oscar needed to pull himself together before it started. Dragging himself to the ropes opposite of Drake, an exhausted and battered-down Oscar lay against the ropes trying to catch his breath. Between his heavy panting, Oscar looked past the sweat in his eyes to Drake as he signaled that he too would be waiting for the bell. Oscar responded with a simple nod of his head.

Re: The Riddle of Steel: “The Barbarian Prince” Oscar Orelash vs. “The Steel Colossus” Drake Benton
Almost immediately after the fall ended, music rang out in the arena. The crowd booed upon seeing the Trinidad and Tobago Fight Club (TTFC) graphics on the TitanTron. Then one of the twins came out on the entrance ramp carrying a steel chair in each hand.
"Fuck!" cursed Drake.
The ring of security guards surrounding the steel cage immediately responded and swarmed the entrance ramp to block the twin. Confused rumblings rang out from the crowd since there was only one twin on the ramp. The largest security guard leading the pack stepped forward hands raised.
"You can't be here! Go back now!"
"I'm not in on this Oscar. Don't worry, man, security's got them." he said to Oscar between labored breaths.
Suddenly, a flurry of violence broke out in a blink-and-you-miss-it moment. One of the "fans" in the crowd climbed up on top of the barricade and then leapt off of it. The "fan," having flanked the security guards, nailed the leader in the face with an aerial side kick. The lead security guard crumpled to the ground, instantly KO'd as the fan took off her hood to reveal herself as the other Phillips twin. Flashing an eager smile at Oscar, it was clear which one was Oria as the twins advanced.
