Hot Topic's Hot Debut: Phoebe Duclair (D) Vs. Chris Yukine

Phoebe’s head was ringing from the multiple headbutts that Chris had given her, it felt like it was having its own personal earthquake, she just held her head in pain.

Soon enough, the ringing eventually calmed down enough that she managed to slowly get back to her feet but being very stumbly.

She would not be able to do anything right now, she needed to rest and wait for Chris to get up.

It seemed neither wrestler were in shape to get back on the offensive after Chris' escape. Both needed time to rest and let the ringing in their ears to die down. The two were reaching the ends of their ropes, and it became more obvious the longer they lay prone.

The two rose around the same time, both on wobbly legs. Chris glared over at Phoebe, panting as she got her bearings straight. Soon a smile crossed her face, likely to Phoebe's surprise. "Insults and personality aside, bitch, you're not half bad, newbie," she praised briefly. Even if there had been many frustrations caused by the black haired lightweight, the rocker couldn't help but say it.

She'd wait a few moments to hear Phoebe's response, if she had one, before trying to grab the goth's black hair. If she could, the rocker would tuck Phoebe's head under her arm. After which, with a few seconds to catch her breath, Chris would try to take her opponent back down with a DDT. She didn't have the stamina to try any aerials right now, so this was the best she could do. Presuming she was able to do it at all.

Phoebe was barely able to keep herself upright while she watched Chris get back up to her feet as well. She then heard what Chris said and had a response of her own.

“Even if you’re a dirty rocker, you’re not half bad either.” Phoebe said in response. She then watched Chris try to approach her.

Soon enough, Phoebe’s head was tucked, but she had a counter in mind before Chris could DDT her, She would attempt to ram Chris right into the corner, hopefully Chris won’t have the energy to stop her.

Both girls stood on shaky legs, both giving each other passive aggressive praise. "Gee, thanks," Chris huffed before grabbing Phoebe's black hair and pulling her down under her arm. Before she could follow up, however, the goth suddenly came alive and rammed the rocker into the nearest corner.

"Nnguuhhh," Chris groaned, letting her opponent's head free as she held her back. She was open, and the monochromatic newbie would be free to attack however she saw fit.

Phoebe made an open opportunity for her to attack, and it was time to follow through on her promises, which was to defeat Chris and start her LAW career off with a win.

Phoebe would quickly jump onto the second rope, right in front of Chris before pressing her feet against Chris’ stomach.

And she would attempt to hit a Monkey Flip on Chris.

Chris had overestimated how out of it Phoebe was. She had planned to take the girl down to the ground and take control for there. Instead the goth had charged the two of them into a corner, the rocker's back crashing hard and causing her to release her opponent's head.

The debutee quickly took advantage of her ramming, hopping up to the middle rope, pushing her feet into the smaller girl's gut, and launching Chris over her with a monkey flip. Chris landed on her back with a grunt and a thud. She held her aching back, trying and failing to get back up. She was on empty, and it seemed the finale Phoebe had in store was all but assured.

Phoebe was just as tired as Chris, but she had to put in one last shot to finally put this rockstar down once and for all, she had definitely pushed the Hot Topic to her limit for her debut, something Phoebe had earlier underestimated her on.

With her tank on low, Phoebe managed to use how little energy she had to kip right up to a standing position, right on her feet.

She would then bow down and grab Chris by her hair and attempt to put her across her shoulders, and then drop her into a Cutter for the Emo Plunge Finisher.

Chris panted as she lay on the ground. The match, and especially Phoebe, had been much tougher than she had anticipated. They both were giving it their all for the goth's debut, and both were on their last legs. The crowd waited with bated breath, watching on as the end grew nearer.

The rocker, ever unwilling to simply stop even when she was on empty, tried to bring her heavy body up before the debuting wrestler could. Her spirit refused to remain prone, but her body refused.

Soon enough she felt Phoebe's fingers grab her hair, the rocker hissing as she was brought to her feet, and then onto the goth's shoulders. Then, a split second later, as she tried to will her body to move once more, Chris was brought back down with the Emo Plunge. "Grrnnnnn...." The smaller lightweight would lay motionless on the mats after her face slammed into them. Truly, it seemed to finally be over. All that remained would be to make it official.

Phoebe had to lay on the mat for a second or two after landing the Emo Plunge. This match had taken a lot out of her, but soon she will find it’s ending, and hopefully turn Chris into a fad.

Phoebe slowly crawled over to Chris’ downed body, and fell across her body, looking for a pin attempt, not enough energy to hook Chris’ leg.

Even as Phoebe took her time to gather herself, Chris laid still. Even as the goth all but crawled on top of the rocker's chest, initiating a pin, the rocker didn't respond. The first count came quickly, hand slapping against canvas loudly.

Another count passed, Chris showing no sign of life aside from a quiet, dazed groan.

DING! DING! DING!

The bell rang, and the match ended. The announcer named the debuting Phoebe as the victor, as Chris finally began to stir. She faintly caught the announcement, giving a huff of disappointment. Even if it had been a great match, it still irked her some that she lost to such the disrespectful brat.
