Salem Taylors vs Yunyun Tachibana

[Galactic Thing]

Crumbling to the ground and letting her shorter foe go, Salem tried her best to soothe the pain and get ready to keep going! This wasn't a great start to her first real match after all, she needed to get up an- CRACK!

Soft and delicate hands grab the pink haired head of Salem, aiming the target for a surprising knee to it! Salem's vision went white as she fell onto her back. From her perspective, she was getting outplayed, comically not noticing the cute newbie rub your stinging knee.

Vision began to return after a moment, the ringing in the American's ears also dying down. Looking back up at Yunyun, the desperate and downed wrestler tried to throw out her leg to trip her whilst she recovered (or from Salem's POV, prepared her next move).

It turned out taking a moment to nurse her knee was the worst idea Yunyun could have had, a leg swung out at her from below, catching the brunette off gyard and making her fall onto a side with a loud thud. Yunyun groaned, her face gurning from the pain, before she tried to raise herself up shakily. It was no longer going to plan, and now, the pinkette had the opportunity to strike with a counterattack of her own!

Salem, with her much harder mindset and years of experience over Yunyun, got to her feet much faster. She was beginning to understand that there was a gap between the two, but loved the fight she was giving regardless!

"I can tell I'm a bit more experienced," she said getting behind the slowly rising brunette. "But that doesn't mean you don't have heart! Let's test your mettle Yunyun!!!"

Grabbing her arm, Salem's fire for the action in the ring was ablaze, and she threw her to the ropes! Her plan was to wait for her to come back and jump into the air to try and wrap her legs around her head and FLIP! It was difficult, but Salem was a tad bit more confident now.

Yunyun was stunned when her opponent, who had rosen up and was almost encouraging her, grabbed her arm and slung her to the ropes. The metal ropes dug into her back slightly, making her grimace, before slinging her back towards her opponent, who deftly jumped up and air scissored her neck, before flipping her to the floor with a mighty thud.

"Gyaaaaagghhh!!!!!" Yunyun cried out as her back throbbed from being slammed hard into the canvas. It didnt help that her opponents legs were still around hee neck, which was cutting off her airways. She tried to get back up, but her body wouldn't allow it without a moment to catch her breath, which was currently not possible.

Keeping up the squeeze, Salem didn't go full strength, perhaps due to a lingering feeling that stemmed from the first few seconds of Yunyun's entrance. She didn't want to dominate her...Salem realized she wanted to help her!

But, she was here to wrestle first and foremost! Leaning closer again Salem says, "I'm surprised you're still going! A lot of others get knocked cold from that" she said the white lie with confidence...having actually knocked out a handful before with the hurricana.

Letting go, Salem went to try and lift Yunyun back up to her feet and whip her into a nearby corner!

Yunyun felt a little better about herself about surviving such a potent move, but the damage was already racking up. Her back ached, and she needed air, and fast. Thankfully, Salem gave her the courtesy of air, but as she began breathing sone on, her opponent grabbed her arm once more and slung her into the turnbuckle, hurting her back even more!

"M-my back... Argh..." Yunyun groaned, clearly in a state of distress despite the match barely starting.

Oh the desire to please the crowd Salem thought, hearing them cheer the currently dominant pink wrestler on. With Yunyun slumped in the corner, Salem back up to the opposite one.

She wanted to test how fast the smaller gal could recover without throwing the match, so she went for a running body splash from the other side of the ring! Salem's black boots pounded against thd canvas with every heavy footfall. When she crossed the center, Salem took one final step before jumping into the air aiming to crash into poor Yunyun!!!

Yunyun was struggling, but she managed to gatger enough energy to move, and just in time. She saw Salem flying towards her and was about to put a finishing blow on her, but Yunyun reacted, ducking and diving under her arm at the last second, sending Salem careening into the turnbuckle where she was. She then too a moment to catch more of her breath, before seeing how her opponent was doing.

Truth be told, Salem was more than ready to eat this hit...but she made a mistake. In her anxiousness to deliver a well looking splash, she failed to aim correctly! Instead of her body primarily hitting the corner...it was her face!

"Unghhh...mmmuh?" Salem groaned out aftrr the impact, her head was hit yet again by a precise blow. Finding the will to turn over, it was the Shooting Star's turn to desperately find respite in that corner.

Yunyun was still in significant pain, and was unable to do much in terms of counterattacking, instead using most of her time to recouperate. After spending that time, she moves up to Salem, and gives her a somewhat weak punch to her spine. She then repeats that with her other arm, then a kick to it too. She then steps back again.
