Lucy walked through the gym toward the locker room seeing all manner of familiar faces striving to better their abilities. Unlike Lucy they had all been putting in the work to better themselves, while Lucy had listlessly moved through her wrestling career. However, accepting Aoi's invitation to become her student had spurred something in Lucy to put forth a little more effort. That meant actual training. Lucy would only be caught in the gym previously if it meant she was working to maintain her figure.
Slipping into a set of gym clothes, she would tie up her golden hair and move out into the gym proper. Gazing out across the vast space there was no sign yet of Aoi. "What will this training be like? Could she handle what Aoi would put her through?" Lucy's mind had all sorts of questions. Aoi seemed like a pleasant woman given their post match interaction. She even treated Lucy to a couple drinks after leaving the arena. However, really serious training was still a bit of a foreign concept for Lucy. The jobber lifestyle didn't really necessitate the need for a super strict training program.
Looking up at the clock on the wall Lucy realized she was a little early for their agreed meeting time. Maybe she was more excited for this occasion than she first thought! The blonde would make her way over to some of the cardio equipment and hop on a treadmill to get a small warmup in before Aoi made her appearance. Building up to a light jog, Lucy felt the excitement building thinking what doors this new path could open for her!
