A Dynasty Reborn: Kimiko Bando (D) vs Alizeh Midori

In Kimiko's mind, this submission was the climax of the match, the Rubicon, she had the perfect opportunity to make the green-haired woman tap out! But Alizeh had no intentions of losing, and neither did Kimiko but Alizeh had the will to act on those intentions as she sat up and slapped Kimiko across the face, momentarily stunning her. Alizeh was quick to capitalize with a hard twist of her hips rolling them over and reversing the hold! Kimiko cried out in pain, her hands shooting up and grabbing her hair trying to resist the pain, trying to will herself out of this, but the pain in her legs... it was too much. Letting go of her hair Kimiko's hand slapped the canvas repeatedly! "I Give! Kimiko shouted conceding her defeat.

Despite the unbearable pain of the figure four leg lock that Kimiko had secured her in Alizeh was not done. After all while the pain was bad, the pain of losing was greater, and more than anything she had the experience to overcome it and turn it to her advantage.

Hefting herself up and slapping at Kimiko to stun her Alizeh would then successfully turn them over, reversing things to reverse the effects of the hold on Kimiko! Naturally as a result it caused Kimiko to scream in pain and within moments Alizeh heard what she needed too as Kimiko began tapping out and even verbally quitting as well!

'Thank god.' Alizeh thought to herself, glad she wouldn't have to come up with something else to try and win. Allowing their legs to become untangled and scooting away from the lioness Alizeh would roll over to a seated position, pulling one of her knees up and panting as the ref came down and raised her hand up before helping her to her feet, celebrating as the crowd roared with approval of the end of the epic match!

Kimiko gasped and sighed in relief as Alizeh's legs untangled from her own. As the green-haired woman scooted away from her Kimiko curled up for a second holding her legs in pain for a moment before crawling towards a corner as Alizeh had her arm raised by the referee as she got to the corner the feeling of defeat set in. Sitting in the corner Kimiko sighed resting her back against the turnbuckle listening to the crowd. "I shouldn't have tapped" Kimiko told herself under her breath clearly bummed out.

Akari had been spectating from the sidelines the entire time, trying to encourage Kimiko whenever she could, but the more experienced Alizeh managed to use her wits and knowledge to wiggle her way out of a dangerous situation and turn the tides on Kimiko with her own move. Akari knew that the bitter sting of defeat was eating away at the young woman, and as her mentor, she immediately stepped in to make an effort to console her...not as a means of babying her or trying to assure her that it wasn't her fault, but that this could simply be a teaching moment. She went toe-to-toe with Alizeh Midori in a special match for over twenty minutes. The crowd cheered not just in praise of Alizeh, but in support of Kimiko for giving such a fantastic performance on her debut. She showed the crowd that there was REALLY something special about her...but Kimiko wasn't paying any attention to that, so Akari wanted to help her see it, to hear it...to FEEL it.

"Hey, hey, hey-...you did GREAT, Kimiko...Listen to these people, they all LOVED your performance. You showed talent, promise, and above all else-...heart...you brought Alizeh to the very brink, forcing her to tap into just about every trick she had! If you can do all of that as you are right now, just imagine where you'll be in a month...two months...three months...a year. You're already on your way. Winning feels great, but losing is when we learn." She said, crouched down next to Kimiko after slipping up beneath the ropes.

"I'm so proud of you..." She said.

Kimiko didn't think of her mentor up until a few moments before she noticed her outside the ring and she felt even more disappointed, losing her first match made her feel bad, losing in front of Akari arguably made it worse. When Akari slid in the ring Kimiko did he best to hold back any sort of tears as Akari spoke to her, thank god the turtle themed woman wasn't disappointed. As Akari spoke, the crowds voices and cheers were behind it and with a nod Kimiko signaled she understood what her mentor meant and leaned in extending her arms trying to hug the woman. "I just want to do one more thing" Kimiko would say before breaking the hug and pushing back up to her feet.

Approaching Alizeh from behind Kimiko was a little nervous but wanted to at least be polite. "Uh.. Miss Midori" Kimiko said waiting for the woman to turn around before greeting her with a bow. "I want to thank you for the match" she said in the politest tone she could not wanting to come off as a sore loser or anything.

Celebrating her win a bit Alizeh had turned to Kimiko and was about to congratulate her before seeing that Akari was talking to her. Understandable given that this was Kimiko's first loss, on a big stage and in such a long, drawn out, back and forth bout emotions were sure to be running high for the rookie. That being said Alizeh was patient and waited for the two to be done, hoping to get a word in with Kimiko and for now would take to posing a bit more for the fans.

Eventually though Alizeh would feel a tap on her shoulders and turn around to face Kimiko with a smile on her face. "Hehe no problem Kimiko. Gotta say despite being you're debut you're absolutely incredible. If you ever wanna have a rematch I'm game, likewise if you ever wanna train with someone other than Akari, just let me know, you're going to go far here." Alizeh said with a smile before even taking a step forward and hugging Kimiko!

Kimiko blushed hearing Alizeh's words it was an honor to be complimented by someone of such notoriety. "I... would love to train sometime if Akari is fine with me training with other people than her" Kimiko said before Alizeh hugged her, unsure how to react Kimiko briefly hugged the woman back before stepping away a few steps. "I guess this is where I leave right?" she asked awkwardly before turning and heading towards the ropes before slipping between them waiting for Akari to join her before leaving up the ramp.

Despite only getting a mild hug in return from Kimiko the green haired girl would chalk it up to nerves and with a shrug she would pull away before winking at the girl. "Technically yes. But I have a feeling we'll see eachother again sooner than later." Alizeh said with a wink before watching as she and Akari walked out before turning and throwing her hands up one last time for the fans who cheered in response before she made her own exit from the ring and arena.
