For her part, Kaori felt very bad about how her intervention turned out, even though she wanted to convince her protégée not to dispute this event, she knew that she would not listen to reason at this moment, she could only contemplate the spectacle that was about to occur. But first, the actress had to face the reporters around the backstage, who were hungry for this news. The fight backstage was a scandal, Renee had been stabbed by her manager and Snow had knocked out a tooth. This undoubtedly made their networks explode with posts and memes, about how even the actress could ambush Renee in this way, or even how this seemed to be taken from the script of one of her series.
Before coming out to show her face, Snow would finish dressing. But unlike all her previous bouts, she would not wear her exuberant attire, or her gym suit. No, today was a completely different situation. One that warranted a nice change in her image, showing that this time she meant business.
Snow PPV Attire
Press: “Anna! Anna! Anna Sigrid! What are you gonna do after that backstage attack on a LAW Superstar? Will this event damage any future sponsorships from brands? Do you think this rivalry has gone too far? Are you prepared for the upcoming match at We Are LAW 7?”
Snow would have to move the press towards her locker room where the lucky few would be able to enter as the rest were forced to stay back and look at Snow answer the questions those interviewers had. Everything was recording live and fans of Anna Sigrid all around were anticipating what their favorite movie star will say after what happened tonight.
"Hmmf, always these pesky reporters." Kaori exhales, rolling her eyes at the reporters swarming around her. "Well, since you're all so eager to know." the actress's manager, would begin to move out of the way through the crowd of paparazzi, Snow on the other although she would normally be very happy to give interviews, her expression was serious and completely focused.
After the series of questions, she would pause for a second and answer. "It's not about sponsorship deals or rivalries that have gone too far" she says with a sly smile "It's about proving myself in the ring and showing everyone what I'm made of! And this, by the way, will not just be a match for me to prepare for, but my chance to become a lightweight title contender. After this, you'll have to ask Renee how it feels to be outclassed by someone like me!" With that said, Snow turns and walks away, leaving the press expectant for her answer and her next wrestling challenge.
Kaori would stay along with a couple of guards, to keep the paparazzi away from backstage. Despite the actress's response, the reality was that she had lied, the fact was that at this point she didn't care if this controversial situation escalated to the point of affecting her work in the entertainment world. She just had in mind to get rid of Renee, once and for all...
The press would continue trying to get past security as their hounding for questions continued. They would watch Snow leave as they were now looking at Snow’s agent for answers on what just happened.
“Kaori! Kaori! What do we expect from Snow after the fight? What do you say about what Snow is doing in LAW? Is your protection being put up to the test once the match comes in? Why did you attack Renee in the first place? Is this all your fault?”
Kaori shakes her head, a hint of confusion dancing in her eyes. "Think they'd get tired of asking the same questions over and over again" She mutters under her breath, apparently the press knew it was her who had stabbed Renee. But instead of letting that bother her, the redhead decides to take advantage of it. She approaches the members of the press still gathered outside. "The truth is that despite the altercation we've had recently, this was all provoked by Renee threatening to hurt my client. I got carried away and I know I have to pay for that, Anna on the other hand only came to my defense. And instead, she's willing to let her performance in the ring speak for itself." Kaori replied firmly, although it seems that the reporters are still thirsty for information. It looks like she'll have her hands full...
The press would then be forcefully dispersed and left the area. There was no more questions the press were wanting. However, Kaori’s phone began blowing up with calls and texts messages from all the sponsors Anna has got in her acting career.
Kaori would have to answer questions about how will the media look at these brands if their star spokesperson was out there beating people up randomly and if Anna will be able to come to do ads for their brand if something goes wrong in the ladder match
After answering the questions of those pesky pests with cameras, Now what Kaori feared most would happen happened, she chuckled and rolled her eyes. "I gave them quite a show didn't I?" She said with an uncomfortable chuckle as she checked the calls on her phone, one message after another was about the sponsors. Kaori didn't lose her composure and simply replied in a group call "They better remember what you signed up for when they chose to partner with us. We are not pretty dolls; Anna is an action film actress and a professional wrestler. And our bouts are not tea parties. If Anna can take the heat in the ring, she can take anything else that comes her way. Those marks better stay by her side, because once I'm done with this ladder match, no one is going to mess with our territory!" Kaori stated flatly.
The brands hung up very angrily. It seemed like Anna was gonna lose some sponsors. However, it seemed like the least of Kaori’s worries as she now had to deal with Snow blatantly accepting a possible match that’ll ruin her career and action movies being off the table...
