Background:
Tanya grew up in the bad hood part of Brooklyn, New York on February 6th, 1997. The projects always had some form of problems like rodents infesting apartments, occupants not paying their rent on time and forced to be evicted, and the local crime rate soaring. Tanya’s dad was a businessman starting up a shop on various street corners selling makeshift model kits filled with wooden items. Her mother usually stayed at home and made sure to protect Tanya. Tanya had to learn to fight from a young age as she was always getting picked on and she was expelled when she hit middle school.
This forced Tanya to get involved with an older gang and by the time she hit 17, Tanya had to learned to shoot a gun and even robbed a few convenience stores in her neighborhood. It was sad to see their daughter be brought home in either one of her boyfriends’ cars or a squad car just because she got in another fight or stole someone’s wallet. As Tanya wasn’t 18 yet, the law could only hold her in juvie for her crimes and she usually loved to defy authority. During quiet hour in juvie, Tanya snuck out to the social pad of the detention center to watch TV. This was the hour the dumb inmates wouldn’t be fighting over the remote to watch basketball or some music video countdown. Tanya liked sitcoms, but she ran across a professional wrestling show one night and was instantly hooked. Being dazzled by the high-flyers on her screen, Tanya knew this could be an escape to finally get out of her rough setting. Although, her growing criminal record would make it hard to get hired so she to sneak into a security office to access her record and manually wipe it clean. She also escaped into the night getting away from all the negativity surrounding her life.
Tanya took a train from Brooklyn all the way down to Orlando and got her a job at a surf shop to raise money for wrestling training. She tried becoming a student at the infamous Performance Center, but they rejected her, because she wasn’t 18 yet. Tanya had to settle for getting more money and resorted to her criminal ways sticking up a liquor store and managing to evade cops long enough to hunker down in a sewer system under the city. Tanya got herself an apartment in downtown Orlando and enrolled in wrestling school practicing bumps and moves off the ropes. She also incorporated her street fighting into striking wowing her teachers that she knew how to fight. Tanya would be ready to be on the indies at age 19. Tanya mainly wrestled in Florida, but eventually went through the southern United States and this gave her the idea to name herself Kaleidoscope. Someone the crowd could see with multiple ways to do it. It made her a huge hit on the indies and she soon developed a small fan base.
This attracted the attention of WFPW as management was impressed with her gimmick and display of herself. Tanya believed she was ready for the big leagues and signed on also sufficing to go through the partnership with League of Anime Wrestling. Kaleidoscope is ready to go international with her skills and ready to dazzle the audience with her glitz and glamour.
Personality: Tanya is someone that is cool to hang around with and she’s not overly fond of the “hood style” anymore like when she was younger. She’s fun and sassy loving to live it up through partying. Tanya developed an unhealthy smoking addiction due to the influence her bad friends had on her so it followed her and she might be tempted to steal off people if she gets the itch. Though, Tanya has been trying to develop more self-control. Tanya is also loyal to her friends as being in a gang taught her that a positive social circle helps with stability in life.
Wrestling Style:
Tanya loves to keep it with strikes and high-flying moves. Due to her gimmick, she is all about putting her best foot forward and her best effort into dazzling the crowd. Tanya puts herself at risks more times than she can count and shows no fear no matter the opponent. She may get carried away trying to take on people half her size, but she believes she can handle herself in fights. Being with WFPW has also given Tanya more technical skills so she’s becoming a bit of an all rounder which she believes fits her gimmick.
Preferred Matches: Due to her deal with appearances between both promotions, she only wants to do standard, tag team, triple threat, fatal 4 way, and stipulation matches. No lewd matches at all.
Extra Trivia:
-Tanya has no criminal record even though she commits petty thievery or simple assault. She’s crafty to not get caught again.
-Tanya smokes about three cigarettes a day and it sometimes slows down her training with all the coughing fits.
-Tanya has stolen 45 different pieces of jewelry, but has returned some and kept other pieces in a lock box.
