Another day, and another big challenge for Annie Clark. While this one was not for her Lightweight Championship, or even against a Lightweight, it was a match she was determined to win just as much as any title challenge. Today she was taking on a fellow fast rising wrestler though in the middleweight division, Penny Polendina. She was excited, hoping that Penny would give her a good fight, knowing that she would be a tough opponent to defeat.

Annie lifted some weights and did some stretches with her arms, making sure they were kept strong and limber, to make sure she would be able to lift Penny as much as she needed to, Lightweight Championship right on her side. She knew she needed to be locked in tonight.

Soon enough, the LAW official knocked on the door, letting the current Lightweight Champion know that her match was about to begin. Annie gave a nod before heading out to the ring, ready to wrestle Penny.

The arena turned bright orange, and Annie made her way down to the ring, marching down while slapping hands with some fans who wanted to greet her. Annie wanted to come out and give the crowd a show. Annie walked up the steel steps and underneath the middle rope into the ring. She then climbed onto the middle rope in her corner and waved to the crowd and then taking off the Lightweight Championship and showing it to the crowd.

She then headed to her corner and put the Lightweight Championship underneath the turnbuckles so that the ringside crew could take care of it. She then waited for Penny to make her entrance.

Today, for Penny, it wouldn't be like any common day. It would be a great day because she wanted a challenge with one of the company's biggest stars. She got her wish granted, but she didn't expected that one of the current LAW champions could accept her challenge, but she took it to make the challenge getting heat before they meet each other.

Once her theme starts to play, the lights of the arena turn green and a curtain of smoke gets launched on the top of the ramp. Later, green fireworks explode there and after it, the Maiden shows up through the curtain and stands there, looking in direction to the ring while doing her 'Salutations' gesture in front of the crowds while smiling, getting cheered by the fans.

Once the smoke curtain disappears, Penny starts walking over the ramp while giving salutes to some fans while getting closer to the ring until she puts both feet on the ringside floor. Penny then stands there for some seconds while looking at Annie before jumping to the apron. The irish girl stands in the apron for some seconds to look at Annie and gets inside the ring, passing over the second rope. Later, Penny turns and climbs up to the second rope of the corner at the left side, and does her salute gesture again.

Once the music cuts and the arena lights go back to normal, she jumps off of the corners and lands with both legs, and turns around to look at Annie while doing some little jumps to be ready until the referee gives the order to start the match.

DING! DING! DING!

Annie smiled at her opponent Penny, knowing that she definitely looked like she was ready for a fight, let’s hope she was ready to fight the Lightweight champion, cause Annie was not going to make things easy for her.

Annie would head to the center of the ring, and motion for a test of strength, but she was looking to trick Penny. Once Penny attempted to engage with her, Annie would attempt to quickly wrap her arms around Penny’s waist, and ram her into the corner.

That teaching from Tiki was going to come into good use.

Penny gets into a stance as well, thinking this match could be started with the test of strength until Penny saw Annie going towards her and gets a little shocked until Annie took her by the waist and rammed her against the corner, with the Maiden caught there...

Penny gets her back crushed against the turnbuckles by Annie, but she instantly grabs her head and puts it under her armpit with a tight grip, then she changes both of their positions and takes her against that same corner, making the start a little heated by throwing some right-handed chops at her chest.

Annie thrusted Penny as hard as she could into the corner, knowing that she was able to crush the maiden with her strength. Her look of confidence, however, turned into a look of surprise as Penny managed to wrap her arm around Annie’s neck.

Soon enough, they were repositioned to where Annie’s back was against the corner, and she got chopped right in the chest.

“OOMF!” Annie grunted as she grimaced from the chops, turning her chest red.

Once she had an opening, Annie would attempt to give Penny a forearm smash to her head to get her away.

The match started with a heavy and heated exchange of blows between both girls. Penny was crushed by Annie but she countered with swapping positions and hitting her chest with those right-handed chops.

The Maiden was fighting back against the Powerhouse but gets interrupted with that forearm smash on her face, forcing her to cover her face and stagger to another corner.

Annie’s managed to get Penny off her for the time being, hitting her with a forearm smash and knocking her to another corner of the ring. Annie then checked her chest, which had a bit of a burning sensation on it.

Annie then ran towards Penny, before jumping up and looking to hit a body splash on Penny, crushing the maiden between herself and the corner.

Annie knew she was in for a fight today.

Penny was touching her nose and jaw after that forearm smash delivered by Annie. Fortunately for her, there was no signal of bleeding after that attack, and shakes her head.

Once she stopped touching her face, the Maiden looks up at the Powerhouse going for a body splash in the corner. But before Annie could jump up towards her, Penny takes two steps ahead away from the corner and catches her in the middle of the move, interrupting it and not making it succeed. Later, the Maiden lifts her off the ground and throws the Powerhouse against the corner with an Exploder Suplex!

Annie was jumping towards Penny full force, hoping to crush Penny with her small body, but that same small body would be the downfall of her. As Penny managed to catch her.

“Oh no.” Annie said, and before she could start struggling, Penny already lifted her leg, and slammed her neck first with an exploder suplex.

Annie held her neck as she writhed on the mat in pain, now she was in serious trouble.

Penny admitted that Annie showed a fighting spirit since the beginning of this match, but she proves herself to the lightweight champion that she's no joke after grabbing her and slamming her against the turnbuckle. Later, the Maiden gets up and makes the Powerhouse to stand up as holding the back of her neck before trying to hit her forehead against the upper turnbuckle of the same corner that she used for the suplex.
