[Standard Match] Charlotte Ravel' vs Callie May - Whose kicks are better?

After the referee slapped the mat for the second time, Charlotte thought it was the end. Callie was strong, but she didn't put up any resistance. Therefore, the Frenchwoman held her breath and even closed her eyes at the moment when the referee's palm went to the mat for the third time.

Sharp jerk, roar of the crowd and only two fingers sticking out on the referee's hand. All that meant was that the match wasn't over yet. Callie broke the pin a tiny fraction of a second before the referee's hand touched the mat. And although it was hard for Charlotte to believe it, she couldn't feel angry at her rival. Not after she saw the cold determination in the eyes of the woman who, although continued to lie on the mat, was still not ready to lose.

Charlotte didn't have much strength left, but she was sure that one more hard enough blow and Callie wouldn't be able to break the next pin. Therefore, although with a tired groan, she intended to quickly grab her opponent's hand. With one jerk, she was going to get to her feet, at the same time forcing Callie to get to her feet, too.

Wasting no time, the Sand Lizard intended to take a step to the side, still holding her opponent's hand, and then push the American woman in the back in order to send her to the far ropes with the help of an Irish whip!

If everything had gone smoothly with this, Charlotte would have rushed after her rival a second later. Trying to take the maximum possible speed, she wanted to guess the moment when Callie would bounce off the ropes. She wanted to make sure that this would be her last attack. So, she was going to put her right foot slightly to the left of her left foot, and then push off the mat with force. She was going to do not one, but two rotations at once, in order to get maximum torque and send a crushing 720 tornado kick in Callie's head!

Callie was barely aware of where she was, or what she was doing, but she knew she had to keep fighting in this match, she was going to keep fighting, to keep wrestling no matter what, she was going to fight Charlotte to the end.

Soon enough, Callie was slowly pulled up to her feet by Charlotte, before she was irish whipped right into the ropes, before bouncing off and running straight towards Charlotte.

Callie knew she had to do something and fast, so when Charlotte attempted to kick her, Callie attempted to slide under her kick with a baseball slide. If she managed to, she would kip up right behind Charlotte, and attempt to hit her in the back of the head with a Roundhouse kick, let’s see how she liked it.

Kicks were undoubtedly Charlotte's most powerful weapon. Any kick is more powerful than any punch. But at the same time, any kick is slower than any punch. That's why the Frenchwoman knew for sure that the right moment was needed for a kick so that the opponent could not dodge, because otherwise you would be open to a counterattack.

It was the right moment. The Sand Lizard had no doubt about it. Yes, Callie was a great fighter, but recent events were definitely not in her favor. The pink-haired woman assumed that her opponent was able to break the pin, spending the last of her strength on it. If that was really the case, then the next kick would be the last one for Callie.

But when the American woman ducked at the very last moment, so that Charlotte's foot passed over her head, the martial arts master's heart stopped for a moment. Landing on her feet, she immediately hurried to turn around, because you should never stand with your back to your opponent. But before she could turn around completely, Callie's foot crashed into her head. Charlotte's head jerked to the side, and blood mixed with saliva flew out of her mouth. It was like a grenade had exploded in her head. Her vestibular apparatus malfunctioned, which caused her to take a step to the side, and then collapsed on one knee, hardly realizing where she was and what was going on.

Callie’s damn near miraculous dodge somehow worked, as she managed to duck Charlotte, get behind her and kick her right in the head, getting her down to her knees. “OH YEAHHH!” Callie yelled in excitement, though not as much as she would earlier due to all the pain she was in.

However, she did see a prime opportunity to land a sure knockout blow on Charlotte, The head perfectly exposed to her.

Callie would take a stance, before attempting to launch a Roundhouse Kick right to the side of Charlotte’s head. If this knocks Charlotte down, Callie will then attempt to roll her over and pin her.

This was her chance, to prove she was the better fighter then Charlotte.

No matter how strong a fighter is, a direct kick to the head is not a thing that can be easily handled. Dropping to one knee, Charlotte desperately tried to force herself to move. Her instincts were screaming for her to clench her fists and get to her feet. But the fog that enveloped both her vision and her mind seemed to separate the Frenchwoman from her body. And so nothing stopped Callie from using the second kick in a row.

When Callie's foot crashed into Charlotte's skull unhindered, a loud and nasty click rolled through the arena, making some spectators wince. The Sand Lizard's head jerked to the side again, and blood flew out of her mouth. The pink-haired woman collapsed senseless on the mat.

Callie didn't even have to check her condition, she just turned her over and lay on top of her to pin the Frenchwoman to the mat. Even after that, the only sign that Charlotte was alive was her chest rising and falling. Seeing this, the referee did not take long to wait, she quickly lay down next to them and slapped the mat.

"ONE!" The roar of the audience swept through the arena.

Callie smiled, it looked like the roundhouse kick was enough to finally take Charlotte down, as she pinned Charlotte down on the mat.

Callie hoped that Charlotte was done, it was a fun fight, but she needed to win. She pulled Charlotte up a bit more to add leverage to the pin and show Charlotte’s butt in the air to have a little fun.

She just needed one last count.

“Merde...” sounded in Charlotte's head.

A loud clap near her head made her partially come to her senses. And she didn't like what she felt at all. Callie's last kick was akin to hitting a hammer on an anvil. The Sand Lizard's head hurt so much that she felt nauseous, not to mention that her body was practically not obeying her. However, this did not prevent her from feeling that Callie lifted her leg even higher, which caused an enthusiastic hum from the audience because now they had a great view of the Frenchwoman's fit butt.

“Ghhh...” she groaned in displeasure because despite all her beauty, she did not really like being the object of sexualization.

“TWO!!”

The second clap reminded her that she had far more important things to worry about than her butt. Once again she was just one step away from defeat. The Sand Lizard knew from the very beginning that this match would not be easy and that her opponent would do everything in her power to prove that she was the best fighter. And is Charlotte really ready to accept defeat even after all the hard training she's been through? Hell no.

“THR!!!...”

When the striped shirt's hand went to the mat for the third time, the Frenchwoman held her breath. It wasn't the best idea, because taking a deep breath would have given her extra strength. But now she just wanted to somehow suppress the pain that her body should be filled with in a second. Why? Because before the referee's palm touched the mat, the pink-haired woman kicked her legs in one sharp movement, breaking free of her opponent's grip. There was silence in the arena for a short moment, but then the referee stuck out only two fingers, which caused the audience to scream so loudly that the walls around seemed to shake.

Calle could finally feel victory within fingertips of her grasp, she could just the flavor that the win over Charlotte was about to provide her and her career. Raising Charlotte into the air, she could just feel the three count was about to come.

But it never came.

Callie was looking all over the arena as she felt the rapid vibrations through it, feeling as though an earthquake was coming through. And Callie was shocked, how could she kick out, was everything she was doing all for nothing.

No that was not it. She just needed one more hit, any hit would do.

Callie slowly raised herself up to her feet, and attempted to grab Charlotte by her ponytail. She would then attempt to pull her up to her feet.

“YOUR DONE!” Callie would yell before attempting the Callie Special #1

"Breathe... breathe... feel the life in every breath..." the pink-haired woman was mentally telling herself.

She was pleased to hear all the support she received after she broke the pin. She never thought that the audience and fans would become truly valuable to her because she wasn't here for money and fame. Now, their support was something that could warm her soul and her cold heart. But at the same time, she still remembered that the outcome of the match depends only on her, so she tried to do everything possible to restore at least some strength, because for sure her opponent was very unhappy with the fact that the Sand Lizard did not let her take the victory.

Charlotte was right about that, because Callie grabbed her just a few moments later, and not just by the head, but by the hair. From the point of view of the Frenchwoman, this was an unworthy act on the part of her rival. Yes, it was definitely the final stage of the match and Callie was definitely annoyed. But it was precisely because of such things that the Sand Lizard did not allow emotions to control her. We must be better. That was her principle.

Hissing from both pain and fatigue, Charlotte, with the active help of the American woman, got to her feet. It wasn't hard to see how tired she was. The Sand Lizard felt it best because her body was wadded up, and her arms and legs seemed to weigh a ton. She had almost no strength left. Callie knew this too, and so she hurried to take a step away from Charlotte so that she could then use a kick that had only one purpose. To finish Charlotte here and now.

"Swift as a coursing river..."

When Callie's foot went to her head, the pink-haired woman took the sharpest and deepest breath possible in order to saturate the blood with oxygen. Just for a moment, but she felt all the pain go away, and her body was filled with strength. That moment was more than enough for her to take a diagonal step forward and to the right, while bending her knees both to allow Callie's foot to pass over her head and to be in her opponent's blind spot.

"And with all the force of a great typhoon!"

If successful, Charlotte's eyes would turn hawkish as she did not intend to give her opponent any favors after everything that happened in this match. Pushing off the mat with force, she intended to jump up while throwing her hands at Callie's head. She intended to grab the brown-haired woman by the back of the head. She had only two things to do, namely lean back and pull both knees up to her chest in order to fall on the mat and at the same time drive Callie's face into her knees with the destructive double knee facebreaker!

Callie knew she just needed one kick, just one swift kick to take down Charlotte, someone who had basically become a mortal rival over the course of this long and grueling wrestling match, this exhausting fight. Just one kick was all she needed.

Sadly for her, that one kick completely missed her target, if only if her target was the air right above Charlotte, cause she would have been right on target.

“WHA?!”

Was the only thing Callie could say before her hair was grabbed, and the only thing her face met was Charlotte’s knees, as she bounced up into the air.

Before she laid spread out on the canvas flat on her back, basically being knocked out at the moment.
