Putting to the Test

Nashi’s stunner hit its mark as Astrid was left in a dazed state right after she collided with the mat! She had to act fast even if it didn’t finish her off completely. As soon as she lifted the Norsewoman’s leg for the pin she got a one count before rolling off to the side as Astrid broke the pin! Nashi landed on her knees and hands letting out a huffs of air while wiping off the sweat that was glistening her forehead as she rose to her feet.


”Well there’s plenty more where that came from!” Nashi replied back in a snarky tone to Astrid’s compliment. Nashi had her arms up ready to brawl and seemed Astrid was too as she sent out a kick straight for the idol’s face! “WOAH!!” Nashi let out as went to duck and went to reach her arms out to grab the leg of her rival. If successful Nashi would on tightly giving the blonde a good smirk.”HERE WE GO!!” She shouted as she went to use Astrid’s weight against her aiming to try and swing Astrid over to the ropes! “HIYAAA!!” Nashi shouted letting out a battle cry with her swing!

It seemed almost unbelievable that a rookie like Nashi could get an edge on a storied champion like Astrid, especially considering how much the Norsewoman outweighed her by - but Nashi wasn't one to let that fact intimidate her! Her stunner had hit its mark and taken Astrid down, and now that she had the her cue to act, she was ready to pounce on it, going for the pin while Astrid was sprawled out and vulnerable! It was going to take more than that to stop Astrid, though. Before Yukino could count any higher than one, Astrid kicked out her leg and threw Nashi backward, breaking the pin!

Even so, when she sat up a moment later, catching her breath, Astrid wasn't the least bit insulted by Nashi's retort - if anything, she was honored, and she met it with a smile and a nod! She wanted to see what she could bring out of the pink-haired girl, and what heights she could length when she was pushed to her limits. If Nashi had more in store for her, she was eager to see it! In fact, Nashi was about to make good on her promise - when Astrid aimed a kick at her, she had her counter ready!

Not only would Nashi dodge, she was able to grab Astrid's leg while it was in the air. Astrid expected her to lead into a submission targeting her leg, or maybe a strike - she would never have expected Nashi to pull back with all her might and hoist Astrid up, swinging her around in a giant swing! It seemed unthinkable that Nashi would even have the strength to move Astrid like this, and yet, that was exactly what was happening - she was lifted off the ground and went sailing through the air! Even Astrid herself was shocked - she knew Nashi was making strides, but she wouldn't have guessed it would be by this much. As she was swung toward the ropes, her jaw dropped and she let out a gasp. Now, she knew, Nashi really meant business!

However, Astrid wasn't going to let that stop her! As she was about to strike the ropes, she would reach out to try and grab them in the hopes of steadying herself. If she could do that, she'd throw a kick behind her with her other leg, trying to strike at Nashi.

Nashi didn't start off the spar the best but now was starting to one up Astrid keeping her on her toes. When Astrid smiled at her retort it only made Nashi more confident as she ducked her kick and was able to grab on tightly to her big leg and went for a big swing! To all of the girls shock.... she had done it! Nashi had the strength to lift up Astrid's leg and send her flying through the air!!!!

However, Nashi couldn't celebrate just yet as she knew this wouldn't stop Astrid and she was correct! Astrid was able to clutch onto the ropes and went to send a second kick to the pinkette!""WOAH!" She shouted as Nashi went for a second duck from the Norsewoman! If she was successful Nashi would try and fall to the mat to send a leg sweep to Astrid's only standing leg!

Nashi had done the unthinkable. Astrid may have edged her out in size, but Nashi had been able to lift her up off the ground - and swing her around in an arc, as though it meant nothing! Yukino was supposed to be a neutral, unbiased, and attentive referee, but even she couldn't help but look back on it all with her eyes wide and her mouth agape, in awe of her partner's accomplishments. Astrid didn't even believe it herself, at first - she looked back up at Nashi with wide eyes as she felt herself being hurled around and around. But, as she quickly reminded herself, there was no time for shock and awe now. This battle wasn't over - and she had to remain ready for anything!

As Nashi threw her toward the ropes, Astrid reached out behind her, managing to grab hold of the ropes to halt her momentum! She came to a stop for just long enough to aim a blow with her other leg, kicking it out at Nashi. But Nashi wasn't deterred either. She ducked under Astrid's leg - and grabbed her one good leg out from under her, forcing the Norsewoman off her balance!

With her footing taken out from under her, Astrid had no choice but to drop straight down, pulling down at the ropes with her and causing them to stretch under her weight. She grit her teeth, squeezing one eye shut as she groaned under the pressure. Nashi was definitely keeping her on her toes...but then, that was exactly what Astrid wanted from her!

"Nngh...clever thinking, to be sure-!" she muttered. Still, Astrid might've been down, but she wasn't done yet. Trying to bridge her hips and lift her legs, Astrid would attempt to throw them around Nashi's head, trapping it between her thighs with a headscissor!

Nashi was going in deep to take down Astrid and thankfully she missed giving Nashi the opportunity to counterattack and leg sweep Astrid down to the mat! A big popped on the idols face as she turned to Yukino flashing a small thumbs up, but the pinkette celebrated too soon. “”Say wha… AHH!!” She yelped as as Astrid’s mutter threw Nashi off guard before realizing the Norsewoman wasn’t sent down all the way! It would only get worse as she felt Astrid’s giant legs wrapping out her neck as yanking her down to the mat!


“UGHHH!!!” She groaned as a loud thud was met when she hit the floor of the ring! “I… can’t…. Breathe….” She muttered gasping for air as Astrid’s big legs were suffocating the smaller body of the idol. “It’s… right… there….” She said as thankfully they were right by the ropes so Nashi went to reach out for the bottom rope to hopefully grab it so Yukino can call for a rope break!

This match had become a test of which woman was capable of thinking far enough ahead to anticipate the other's moves. Astrid was trying to catch Nashi off guard and cut her momentum short, but at every turn, Nashi was tripping her up with clever counters to disrupt the flow of the action and turn her own efforts against her. Astrid had to give Nashi one thing - she realized how she would be able to measure up to Astrid, and she had found a style that would work to the best of her abilities. That meant she had already made strides in coming into her own as a wrestler. But Astrid was still out to challenge her, just to see how she could keep up with the rising tides!

Nashi had taken her down - but just as quickly, Astrid threw her legs around her head, squeezing it tight! She sucked down a deep breath, holding her legs as firmly as she could. The muscles in her thighs rippled and clenched as they compressed tightly around the pink-haired girl's throat, and little by little, the air was being squeezed out of her. Yukino watched as Nashi's hand stretched out toward the ropes, but it fell short every time - and she winced to herself at the thought of Nashi being under the pressure she was under. Leaning in closer, she tilted her head with a look of concern. "Nashi, do you g-"

But Nashi answered that question not with her words, but with her actions - just then, she pulled herself another inch closer, and managed to grab the ropes! At that, Yukino hopped back, throwing her hands in the air. "...No!! Rope break! Rope break!"

Astrid dutifully let go, rolling back onto her knees. "And you do have your tenacity going for you," she said, rising to her feet and dusting herself off. "That's nothing to be ashamed of. But I do hope it won't run you into trouble."

Nashi just barley escaped from falling asleep in between Astrid's strong muscular legs as she coughed out to regain from breathing in her system. She looked up with her hair falling to the other side nodding. "That's true but I know I'm not through yet." She flashed a cocky grin at Astrid as she slowly rose to face her. Now that they were standing in front of each other the spar could continue with Nashi knowing that she had to kick it up a notch as she grabbed onto Astrid's hand and went to try and swift her body to pull her over to make it look like she's going to try and set up the Norsewoman with an irish whip but instead Nashi would fling her to the ropes!

Nashi was by all accounts weighed less than her blonde foe so using her monument to send herself over to the ropes would be a lot easier then sending her over. Once she was reaching the ropes she would jump up onto the middle rope and went to propel herself of flying headfirst for a flying clothesline!

At this point, it was anyone's game. Only time could tell what Nashi would do next, or how well she could measure up to even Astrid herself. But so far, Astrid was definitely impressed! Even if Nashi was by all means out of her league, going up against a woman who eclipsed her in both size and experience, she refused to give up - she was still fighting as though for dear life, with everything he could muster. And that had been enough for her to keep Astrid under control more than once thus far - now, she had even been able to withstand the Norsewoman's powerful grip enough to go for a rope break!

Astrid dusted herself off, standing at the ready and looking Nashi up and down. She thought she would be prepared for whatever the pink-haired girl might throw at her next. But even then, it came as a surprise when Nashi grabbed for Astrid's hand and pulled her in! "What..!?" she gasped. Against an opponent bigger than her, Astrid would never have done such a thing. The Irish whip relied on momentum, strength, and being able to control your opponent's trajectory. It seemed almost unthinkable that Nashi would even want to try such a move on her...and yet, Nashi was undeterred! The fact she was trying this at all stood as a testament to her courage!

Even when Astrid pulled back, easily managing to pull free of Nashi's clutches...the idol took it in stride; in fact, that was exactly what her plan was! Off the rebound, she ran from one side of the ring to the other, jumping up and throwing herself back at Astrid with all the momentum she had built up! The Norsewoman's jaw dropped as she saw Nashi coming back at her - it was like no technique she had ever seen before. But when Nashi struck her, she landed with a powerful thud - enough to steer Astrid back a few steps before her balance gave way, and she dropped down to one knee!

"You're pretty bold to try a move like that - putting yourself under my control," Astrid said, panting for breath. "But...keep it up! It seems to be working for you!"

Nashi had done it! The pinkette had been working on new ways to counter heavyweights like Astrid in the ring, at first, she didn't think it would work but her training paid off as it caught the blonde Norsewoman off guard and sent her straight down to her knees! Even though there was no crowd Nashi let out a proud roar before leaning over starting to pant from exhaustion as the sparing was starting to take it's toll on her. As she panted, she turned and heard what Astrid said to her with the pinkette growing a proud grin on the side even letting out a chuckle. Astrid the woman who dominated her in her first ever wrestling match was now on her knees in pain giving credit to where credit was due for Nashi taking a big risk and it paying off, had they been in the ring it would've been a highlight for the audience for sure!"Thanks... Astrid... but, now I'm... gonna... end... this!" Her eyes shot up as Nashi panted wanting to get it all out of her system before going for a move to end the spar here and now!

Nashi leaned back and pushed herself off the ropes to charge at the down Norsewoman aiming to send a knee kick straight to her chin only to follow it up by leaning forward and wrapping her arms around her neck and aim to jump up and send Astrid straight down with a facebuster to the mat! Had Nashi been successful she would aim to roll Astrid onto her back and mount her stomach pulling up both her legs and having her knees sandwich Astrid's head in for a schoolgirl pin!

Nashi might not have been able to outmuscle Astrid, but it seemed as though she had settled into her groove. She didn't need to beat Astrid in a contest of physicality in order to stand up to her. She was just as capable of using her speed, her momentum, and her quick wits to her advantage - and now, she was using those to even the score! Astrid hadn't seen it coming as Nashi slung herself into the ropes - not until Nashi came bouncing back at her at full speed, ramming into her with a clothesline!

Even after Astrid had gone down, though, Nashi wasn't done. And that was just the way Astrid wanted it! She had given the Fiery Idol the encouragement to take things further and keep pushing the limits, and now, Nashi would do just that! She swung her knee up and into Astrid's jaw, landing with a crack and knocking the Norsewoman's head backward; her teeth clenched in a snarl as her head snapped back. She was already reeling, and her balance was teetering tenuously...but when Nashi proceeded to grab her by the head and ram her straight down onto her face, she had no choice but to go down! A loud thud resounded through the mat, and Astrid fell flat with her limbs splayed out at her sides, stunned!

"Yes! YES! GO NASHI!!" Yukino cheered. She couldn't help it - seeing her friend take hold of her dominant streak was a thrill like none other, especially when she was up against such an esteemed opponent as Astrid Ostberg. Only moments later, though, she stopped and cleared her throat. "...r-right, sorry, I'm supposed to be impartial here-!" But, shaking herself out, Yukino could see that Nashi had Astrid down now, going for the pin! At that, she dove closer to her side, slapping her hands against the mat. "One! Two!!"

Nashi had come closer than ever before to keeping Astrid pinned! The Norwegian stared up at the lights, her vision swimming in a daze. But Astrid was a resilient woman, and she had powered her way through worse! Before Yukino could count the three, she managed to kick up her leg, breaking the pin, and pushed herself aside, trying to get out from under Nashi and roll up to her side. Even still, her chest rose and fell with labored gasps, her jaw was slack, and her eyes were glazed over with fatigue. Nashi was keeping Astrid close to the wire!
