Never Too Late: Izumi and Sofia

Too say that Izumi was stunned was a understatement and not just from the physical attacks, but from Sofia's capability. Naturally Izumi figured she was strong, or had the potential to be, but the woman was incredibly intuitive and picked up on wrestling extremely well, maybe even better than Izumi when she first began training. Either way Izumi couldn't let herself be beaten so easily.

Feeling herself lifted up and thrown towards the ropes Izumi knew this was her chance and as she bounced off the ropes and came back towards Sofia the blue haired woman would drop down onto her knees, sliding under her opponent's arm ever so gracefully, and if successful she would lean forward, getting her hands on the mat and performing a sudden handstand, but with her legs pulled in before pushing off, extending her legs out as she did so to drive a double kick right into Sofia's gut as she'd hopefully turn towards her after the failed lariat!

Trying to use a manoeuvre involving the ropes was certainly something Sophia was not familiar with and even more so, she was not prepared for it to be completely avoided let alone with as much style as Izumie's dodge had. Not entirely sure what to do next, Sophia would turn to face Izumi and taking a step forward as she did, she walked right into a double kick right to her stomach!

"G-KHA!" Letting out a choked scream, Sophia would grab her midsection, nearly folding in half from the impact and having to take a few steps back. Her lungs burned with all the air having left them after the kick and for now, at least she was too busy trying to remember how to breathe to even be able to notice what more Izumi had in store for her

Sofia was quite the impressive specimen regardless of her age and it was bringing out the absolute best in Izumi as she managed to just avoid the woman's lariat and in turn responded with a devastating double kick right to the older woman's stomach! Succeeding with the blow Izumi would roll over fully to get her feet under her before pushing back, spinning through the air as she did so while bringing her leg leg around as she did so, aiming to deliver a enziguri kick directly to Sofia's face!

Already exposed as she was from the double kick to her midsection, Sophia did not know what Izumi was going to do, Only noticing movement at the very last second when it was already too late to avoid it. The pain exploded in her temple, making the world go dark for a moment as her body fell to the ground, only the impact to the ring floor waking her as she clawed at the mat. Her limbs still felt weak and uncoordinated as she tried her hardest to focus and get herself up.

Landing in a crouch following the enziguri kick Izumi would look up and see that the titaness she had been fighting had finally been knocked down, meaning that this was her best chance. Even if this was a spar she was as driven and competitive as ever and despite Sofia's inexperience she believed that the older woman felt the same way. That was why Izumi wasn't going to hold back and go for a proper finisher!

Walking around Sofia's body and bending down Izumi would force the brunette onto her knees before pushing her head between her thighs. If successful with this Izumi would reach forward, trying to grasp at Sofia's thighs and get a good grip before lifting the woman up and into a downwards position, setting her up to try and end this using her East Gate Driver!

When Izumi first grabbed hold of Sophia after the last kick, the older woman hardly registered what was going on, let alone was able to mount any sort of resistance. Her consciousness was coming back to her bit by bit and a particular jolt came when she realized the position she was in once she found her head between Izumi's legs. In other circumstances, it would no doubt be a pleasant place to be, this time though, far from it. Knowing that she'd get low on her legs, dropping down nearly to a kneeling position before driving forward and up. Her goal was to stand up, Izumi's legs still over her shoulders with the woman now dangling down herself before Sophia would swing her forward and though she'd not know the name, try to land an Alabama Slam!

Izumi felt she was in a position to just about end this match. All she had to do was finish lifting Sophia up and drop down and that would be it. However what she wasn't expecting was for Sophia to drop down more, pushing under the blue haired woman and pushing up. 'Oh no.' Izumi thought in shock as she was hefted up herself now, falling and leaning against Sophia's back while her legs were held tight! "Whoa whoa no- NGH!" Izumi cried out before yelling in pain as she was slammed down against the mat, with so much force she practically bounced off of it and into the air before laying on her back, positively stunned by the blow!

Hearing Izumi's reaction before the thud on the ring floor that followed, Sophia found a shiver running down her back. This certainly hurt and while she was used to violence from her days in deployment, she was not used to going as hard as they both did in the sparring they were just having. It was undeniably thrilling and though there was no audience, would probably not be too far from what an actual match looks like, save of course for Izumi going easy on her.

Regardless, the slam landed and had Izumi left defenceless on the ground, a chance that Sophia knew she had to exploit while it lasted! Going over to the woman, she'd first turn her on her belly, before getting onto the woman's back. Perched there she'd then lift the woman's chin up, draping her arms over her knees before getting both hands firmly under her chin and pulling up harder to lock in a camel clutch!

Quite literally bounced off the mat from the force of Sofia's Alabama slam Izumi was left moaning in pain, twitching on the mat, trying to subdue the pain as best as she could but not having much luck thus far. Sofia however was the one with the advantage right now and she was quick to grab Izumi and roll her over onto her stomach before dropping down.

Sofia's weight alone being not too comfortable at all for Izumi but it would soon get worse as the woman's hands clasped over her chin, her arms pulled across the older woman's legs before getting pulled back into a camel clutch submission! "Aghhhhhh!" Izumi cried out in pain as she was bent back, struggling and writhing within Sofia's grasp, trying to break free in someway, but not having any luck whatsoever as she tried!

Capturing the other woman in a hold like that already felt for Sophia like she achieved a minor miracle, being able to maintain and put enough pressure on it to get such a reaction went way beyond that and Sophia was not one to look a gift horse in the mouth. Still, Izumi was trying to get herself out and sooner or later, she most certainly would. That was not good at all, a chance like that was one in a million and if Sophia would whiff it that would be that.

Trying to avoid the inevitable ass whooping that would follow if she failed to close it off now, she'd let go of Izumi's chin with one hand, reaching back to grab her leg and stuff it under her armpit before getting her grip back under the woman's chin and repeating the motion from the other side. With that done she'd then stand up part way, letting Izumi's own weight add to the pressure she herself was applying on the hold and not so much bending the woman into a letter C as much closer to an O.
