”Hmmmmm…maybe Masquerade? I’ve started wearing my mask recently again, maybe if you start wearing one, it’d work?” , Clara would tell Kay. The two of them were backstage, at LAW’s locker room, hanging out to check up on things, even though they didn’t have a match tonight (though they had their gear with them just in case something popped up.

”I am not too great at this, I am sorry, Kay…”, Clara said, half-jokingly, as another voice piped in her opinion on the matter.

”’Dorks’ could have a good ring for you two. ‘Crybabies’ as well. Though, if you will be using that, I’ll be expecting royalties!”

”Who…? Oh, no…”, Clara would react with disappointment as she saw Lucy Lincoln in the locker room with her.

Lucy has been in LAW for a year, but has been already well known as a disliked person by a lot of people. Worse still, her good friend, Chika Igarashi, was frequently tormented by her, be it in person or online. Only recently did Chika managed to fight back against her, after months of attempts to get Lucy into a match against her proved unsuccessful.

”Me! Oh, here’s another one: ‘Damsels in Distress’! I think it fits perfectly!”

”Kay…let’s go somewhere else…”

”Heh…f-reaking cowards…”, Lucy would mock the Shadow Lord…

"Hey! You got nothing to be sorry for. I'm just as useless at coming up with ideas. Though I still think we should try out that bikini idea behind closed doors, I think that should be a personal tag team look." Kay giggled in response in a joking manner. "There's no rush on this kind of thing. We'll figure it out... and honestly, I don't think the mask thing is too bad of an idea. I might be thinking of changing my own look soon. The Drifter thing isn't flying all that well since I started actually making money." Kay would add... that was until another of LAW's wrestlers would enter the locker, making it her mission to butt into the conversation with less than good intentions.

Kay's brow furrowed as Lucy Lincoln made her presence known. Clara reverted a little to her old self, going into a defensive mode, seemingly not willing to give the bully any time of day. As Clara looked to make her peace and lead the lovers elsewhere, Kay gently grasped her wrist before she could go.
"No. Lets not. How about 'she' goes somewhere else?" Kay mentioned, stepping up and positioning herself between Clara and Lucy, her arms coming to fold over her own chest as she began to glare upon the new arrival, having no liking to her attitude problems.

"Dorks? Cry-babies? Is that really the best you can do? Do you really think your still in kindergarden." Kay scoffed towards Lucy, tilting her head slightly to the side as her frown of discontent remained on her otherwise angelic features.
"I mean... if that is the level you're goin' for Candy Floss, I can play. I'd say pick on someone your own size but there's not many other wrestlers who can fit in someone's pocket like you do." Kay spoke out. If there was one thing she did not stomach, it was bullies. Despite her smaller stature, Lucy reeked of such a nature, and Kay would not have her girlfriend and saviour pushed around by her like.

Truth be told, Clara didn’t want to cause a scene right now, whenever she could avoid it. Sure, this industry LOVED it’s scenes, but from what she knew of Lucy Lincoln, if she started with goading people, she wasn’t expecting to start a fight…even if she did expect to finish it.

Which was exactly the intention of Lucy tonight. When she saw the famed LAW couple, practically a fairy tale story of a knight in shining armor saving their love from an evil dragon, she couldn’t help but snicker at how…childish it all seemed. The moment she managed to make Clara Gaster, one of LAW’s top stars, exit in her presence, she was planning on streaming the back of her to her fans to make sure they new who she just managed to make to run away (with slight exaggerations here and there).

The wild card of the situation for Lucy was Katherine Scarlet. Clara knew her girlfriend. She knew that, if she responded to trouble…there was going to be trouble. And although she trusted the blunette to kick the pinkette’s butt should things come to blows…she simply didn’t want it to come to that. Lucy, on the other hand, was curious how things would develop…and as a result, continued poking at the beehive.

”Hah! Tall words, coming from a literal damsel in distress! I’d take your girlfriend’s advice, before she has to bail you out again!”

Clara growled as she stepped towards Lucy, ready to back Kay up if she needed to. Meanwhile, Lucy, while trying to look unfazed by the blunette’s words, would stick her chest forward, standing to her full height, trying to appear a bit taller than she was.

”Oh, look how brave we are! Needing the two of you to shut the little old me up?”, the pinkette smirked, continuing to mock the couple.

Kay could not hide her smile when she watched Clara step up. It warmed her to see how quickly her lover would step in harms way to try and protect her. It was something she had already done in leagues, yet it was something Kay would never tire of seeing or knowing. It had been a long time before she felt wanted and protected... In Kay's darkest hour, Clara stepped up for her... but she had to know that it went both ways. Whilst Kay was certainly not against her beautiful girlfriend from stepping in to fight her battles, she had to know that Kay could also look after herself, and watch Clara's back as equally. She gently placed her hand upon Clara's shoulder, a small and silent indication to let her know that she could handle this.

Clara did not want this fight afterall, but she was certainly willing if it came to it.
"Go ahead then. Try and lock me in a cage." Kay would respond, edging forwards whilst trying to guide Clara back, letting her know she could handle this, and that she would not take sh*t from anyone who challenged them.
"I am a literal damsel after all. Shouldn't be too much of a problem for little old you should it? Besides... neither of us are telling you to shut up, I'm far too liberal to tell you what to say... but I am telling you to put up if you are going to start talkin' sh*t to my girl Candy Floss." Kay would add, her tone oddly firm despite the wry smile forming on the side of her lip.

It was certainly a side of Kay Clara was not used too. Around herself she was always so sweet, caring and loving. She certainly had her sass and her devious side behind closed doors, but this was perhaps the first time she had actually seen her interact with another wrestler backstage, or at least an aggressive one.

The entire situation with the Baroness made Clara even more protective of Kay…to a point. The Brit knew her girlfriend has made a lot of enemies, but she never saw her more defiant side against her rivals. As Kay put her hand on her shoulder, she silently requested Clara to stand away, Clara looking at the blunette for a moment, opening her mouth to say something…before closing it, shaking her head, and stepping away, smiling. Lucy was right in one regard. Kay could shut her up without any help.

Lucy would stand up to Katherine Scarlett talking down to her, her snide grin growing wider at the Drifter’s words and getting Clara to stand back:

“Hah, great Clara Gaster needs her girlfriend to fight her battles. Well, whatever. You are right in one way, Bluey. I talk sh-crap to you because I can back it up, because I can beat you up and make you beg for mercy…right up until she needs to bail you out again. So question is…here and now, or in the ring?”, Lucy would finish, hands on her hips as she stood up to Katherine, chest to chest, putting her challenge forward!

Kay's head tilted when Lucy all out challenged her, her form pressing up against her own as her chest would come to press against Kay's. She put herself forward so much, Kay found it a struggle not to take a step back to rebalance herself, but somehow she managed. A smile managed to creep upon her lips as Lucy fearlessly kept up close and personal with her.
"You really believe Gaster needs me to fight her battles? You saw what she did to the Baroness. No, this is just me and you." Kay would respond, sizing Lucy up whilst she was right up in her grill.

"Ring it is, Candy Floss." Kay declared, accepting the challenge, making it all but official. "I'd fight you here, but... I do have some consideration for my opponents. Medical team wouldn't find you here in the hallway. At least they can treat you in the ring when I'm done with you." Kay added, letting her threats hang heavy within her tone.

She was never one to back down from a challenge or a fight. In truth it often got her into trouble, sometimes more than she could handle given Sandy White had decided to come for her. This was no different. Despite the bad mouth on Lucy, Kay would not underestimate her. Most of the LAW roster had been signed for a reason, all were capable and dangerous wrestlers. Though Drifter had finally established herself as a household name, there was still a great ladder to climb, though Drifter's ambitions remained humble.

Clara and Lucy had completely opposite reactions to Kay. Clara wasn't used to seeing her girlfriend be this defiant, this defensive of her...and it legitimately caused her to blush. The fact that Kay was ready to defend Clara over something this small, a small, pink punk insulting her made her feel like she didn't deserve Kay once more...and she thanked her stars that she was her girlfriend.

Lucy, on the other hand, at the blunette's threat of being beaten up, would simply motion spookiness with her fingers:

"Oooooooh...scary, blue girl. Very scary. I'll make sure to ask the medics to be careful with her spine once I am done slamming and twisting you around...ta ta!"

With her final wave of hand, she left the pair in peace, satisfied. She wanted to get under someone's skin, not so much so as to cause a scene...but enough that she would get them up for a match. Kay and Clara were well known names in LAW, so either of them getting angry enough with her to fight her in the match was a success in her book.

With Lucy taking her leave, Clara would hug Kay, giving her a kiss on the cheek:

"My hero...my very own Wonder Woman..." she would say with a smile, alluding to her nickname for Kay back in their match against each other...
