Lillian Byrne (c) vs Ember Sykes - Smother Match for the LAW Middleweight Title

Once the bell had rung, Lillian's barely contained anger was finally allowed to no longer be contained by referees or officials, and with it, she would break into a full on sprint towards Ember, as the brunette rushed at her in much the way that a bull who saw red would do! Lillian dove towards Ember thinking that she'd feel her shoulder smashed into the purple haired woman's stomach, fold her in half, and be well on her way to paying back just a fraction of what she felt that the shorter middleweight was owed! Only... she didn't end up hitting Ember, and instead the brunette was surprised to find the short disappearing before her eyes, as Ember slunk down to her back and in one swift maneuver, put a boot to Lillian's stomach and flipped her overhead!

The impressively smooth counter would result in an unimpressively rough landing for Lillian as her back slammed into the turnbuckles, and the force of the impact would wrap her legs around the top ropes, hooking them and leaving her suspended in the air just above the mat! Anger turned to a state of confusion as she tried to figure out how the hell that she had ended up hung upside down from the corner, the action happening almost too fast for her to comprehend, but she had bigger problems as she glanced up to see Ember looking at her from above!

Lillian demanded, an odd thing to bark given her position, but Ember had no intention of doing so, whether or not it was requested! Instead, the shorty would take a few steps back, with Lillian's eyes widening as she realized that she was not about to receive help getting down!

Ember snickered, again playing up her cocky challenger role!

With Lillian still in the tree-of-woe position, Ember would move in close to her, placing her thick legs on either side of the woman's head! Ember would then move to hike Lillian's head further up between her legs, enough that Lillian's nose would be squashed up against her enormous tush! Assuming Ember could accomplish this, she would then close her legs around Lillian and lock her ankles together, compressing Lillian's head and neck between her mighty thighs! Lillian's eyes would grow wide as Ember began rushing towards her, but there was no way out while being hung from the ropes like this, and so all she could do was watch in horror as Ember turned and flung herself ass-first, directly into the champion's face, landing a direct hit on the suspended brunette!

That would only be partially true, because the next thing Ember would do is reach forward and wrap her arms all the way around Lillian's waist to hug it close to her! Then, with a slight grunt, Ember would move to lift Lillian clear of the tree of woe position she had been in! The shorty would take Lillian up into the air upside down, and the audience would soon realize that Ember, in lifting Lillian the way she did, had placed the brunette in the classic setup for a tombstone piledriver!

Given the way that the challenger had humiliated the champion in the lead up to their clash for the middleweight title, the best thing that Lillian could have done would be to crush Ember quickly, and show everyone that she was not an opponent to be taken lightly! The absolute worst thing that could happen is likely exactly what was happening now, with Ember using her thighs to squeeze the living daylights out of the champ, all while Lillian's face was wedged in Ember's massive rear end in her standing reverse headscissor! She had followed the veteran wrestler's career extensively, seen how hard she fought in all her matches, and understood that she was in for the fight of her life if she wanted to claim the Middleweight Title! Her claiming such an early advantage over the brunette had mostly been luck, with her taking advantage of Lillian's act of being angry with Ember! Now it seemed the champ was starting to rally! Despite the awkward angle Ember had placed her opponent in she still managed to get a a few good punches into Ember's stomach and sides, forcing the shorty to change her strategy! So she released her headscissor on Lillian and instead pluck her off the corner ropes, hoisting her upside down instead!

Grunting as she took on Lillian's entire weight, Ember now had the champ in the position one traditionally uses to piledrive their opponents, with Lillian's legs sticking up in the air and her head dangling precariously over the mat!
