Alena Stepanova [D] vs. Kimiko Izanagi

The cries of pain coming from Kimiko did give Alena a bit of pause. She wasn't trying to be mean - even if she didn't know her own strength some times, she wasn't trying to hurt Kimiko; not out of malice, anyway. She was just someone who believed in giving everything 110% of her effort, and considering this was her first match in LAW, she wanted her new employers to see just what she was capable of! If Kimiko couldn't take it, that seemed to be more on her than it was on Alena herself.

"What? You're really giving up now!?" the Russian fighter exclaimed, turning her attention down toward Kimiko. This, she realized, simply wouldn't do. Kimiko had barely put up much of a fight at all, and when she had gotten the better of Alena, it mainly came in the form of her catching her off-guard with her tactics, rather than from her own merits. But while some would have gone for the easy victory...that wasn't what Alena believed in! It wouldn't do anything to demonstrate her strength and prove herself as one of the top grapplers in the world if she scored her first victory against a hopeless foe who wouldn't even fight back. Alena wanted something better than that! She wanted to really be put to the test!

And it was right then that Alena did indeed let Kimiko go...but rather than showing her mercy, she proceeded to dust herself off and turn back around to face the redhead with her hands on her hips. "Nyet! I'm not giving you that out! I didn't come to LAW to face a bunch of pushovers! I'm letting you go...but only because I want to give you a chance to hit me with your best shot! Impress me! Give me a real challenge!"

Alena flexed her muscles, standing at the ready. And the fans cheered - this match wasn't over just yet!

"B-best shot?? But i'm weak..well... since you asked.." Kimiko crouched down for delivering her finisher the Cute uppercut! Trying to hit Alena chin with a powerful uppercut hoping to do the damage Alena asked for...

"T-then take this!! AHHHHHHH!!!!!" Kimiko tried her best for this move, and if somehow she managed to hit her opponent she would push herself on Alena trying to following with her Cute smother press! trying to smother her opponent with her full weight, not likely to achieve victory, but Alena asked for her best shot... so she tried these 2 moves to impress her?

Alena couldn't say she was all that impressed with what Kimiko had thrown at her thus far. She had come to LAW to try and put herself out there into the world as one of the strongest fighters around; to take on whatever opponents she needed to to cement her reputation firmly where it belonged. So if Kimiko was going to keep eating her offense and complaining when it didn't go her way, defeating her wouldn't mean a thing. Anyone, surely, could do that! But something told Alena that there was more to Kimiko than met the eye. She had to have more potential in her than that. And Alena wanted to see that, first-hand!

Well, she had quite literally asked for it. And she got it! Just then, Kimiko lashed out at Alena with the best uppercut that she could. It clapped the Russian girl upside the chin, causing her head to crack backward as she bent against the force of the blow...but, at the end of it all, she was still standing. Alena shook herself out, rubbing at her chin to dull the ache, but she still looked back at Kimiko with a disappointed huff. "Was...that it?"

Evidently, no it wasn't! Just afterward, Kimiko came running back at Alena, throwing her full weight against her! "M-Mmff..!?" Alena didn't quite have the chance to get her head back in the game, and when Kimiko struck, she was wide open for it. She fell back into the corner, with Kimiko pressing down against her and boxing her in! Alena's teeth clenched in a frustrated grimace as her eyes narrowed in a glare. With Kimiko's weight bearing down on her, she coughed and hissed; it felt as though the air was being squeezed out of her lungs! But even then, Alena wouldn't let that take her down!

"Even if that is your best...it won't stop me-!" the girl snapped back. In fact, the fact that Kimiko was pressed up against her in the corner was only going to set up her next move! Her arms swung out to grab onto Kimiko's head and pull her closer - and then, she would begin to rain a volley of knee strikes along her chest and stomach, performing her signature move, the Trans-Siberian Railway!

"Ooof oof ooff!! ;(" Kimiko didn't expect to get countered at all and after all the knees she stumbled back on the mat pretty exhsausted... she did her best with the previous attempt but it didn't work well!

"I can't win ;( You are indeed too strong! Please just.... finish this.." Kimiko said while panting heavly looking at Alena who seemed still in good shape! She found a very strong opponent this time....

Once Alena had locked in the clinch, it was all over. Kimiko was lined up perfectly for her to deliver a punishing barrage of knees, each one striking harder than the last! With every blow she landed, the fans were cheering louder and louder - and not without a fair amount of groans in sympathy for the beatdown Kimiko was receiving. But when all was said and done, and Alena pushed the redhead back from her, Kimiko could do little more than slump to the mat under the weight of her own exhaustion!

There, Alena crossed her arms with a huff, glaring down at her foe. Kimiko's stamina had been spent; all she could do was gasp for air and beg for mercy. The Russian grappler's eyes narrowed in frustration - she'd tried to encourage Kimiko to give it her best shot, and to give her a fight worthy of her best efforts, but in the end, the redhead couldn't even go out like a true fighter; she had to ask to be taken out. This wasn't exactly the sort of opponent Alena had in mind for her debut match, and she hardly felt like she was tested, or that she was pushed to her fullest capacity. "So, that's really all you've got..." she muttered under her breath. But if Kimiko really wanted to go out with a bang...then Alena could oblige her. She wanted the world to see what she was all about, and she'd use this as an opportunity to!

"I can't say you're going to go far as a fighter, with that attitude! But if I must..." Bending at the knees to lower herself to the ground, Alena settled a glare on Kimiko, focusing her intent. Then, she took off running - and as she came close, she kicked up her leg to deliver a big boot to Kimiko's face, hoping to knock her flat on her back! From there, she dropped to her back, picking up Kimiko's leg - and locking her own legs around her thigh before bending Kimiko's knee back onto Alena's shin, putting her in the calf slicer she dubbed the Ural Jackhammer!

"Ughhh!!!.....no wait stop! ARGHHHHH!!! NO TOO MUCH PAIN!!! LET ME GO OWWW!!! I GIVE UP!!!" Kimiko couldn't go on anymore... this girl was too strong for her, and Alena indeed proved a formidable foe for her, she was just... too skilled.

"Please stop!!!" It seems Alena last move was too painful for the poor jobber, it was over. Kimiko was tapping the mat as lot as she could, she couldn't continue this match anymore!

"You won let me go please! I completely surrender!"..... after a bit Kimiko just passed totally out from all the pain.

Alena's victory was all but assured. Kimiko had given her the chance to end the match on her terms - and if that was truly what Kimiko wanted, Alena would make sure she got it. She couldn't say that she was impressed with who had been picked for her debut opponent, but if she was going to show the world what to expect from her, she could at least show them the power of her finishing move! As soon as the redhead went down, Alena locked her leg up in the Ural Jackhammer - and in what seemed like the blink of an eye, Kimiko had tapped out under the crushing pressure!

As the bell rang, Alena let go of her opponent, rolling back to her feet with a huff. She brushed some sweaty hair out of her face and rolled her shoulders, then turned to look back at Kimiko. The fans were cheering for such an impressive finish, but to Alena, the fact that Kimiko had outright asked for it couldn't help but taint her victory. She had come here to show the world what she was capable of - and what good would it be to do so against a limp, hopeless jobber who didn't even want to fight back? Alena was most proud of her abilities when she had used them to overcome the odds and best opponents just as strong, if not stronger, than she was. This...wasn't that.

"I can at least thank you for being my first opponent," the Russian fighter muttered, "but...if that's really the best you can do, I'm not impressed. You've got a long way to go before you're actually going to make me work for the win. When I fight, I fight to win, no matter the odds. I want to fight the odds just as much as I fight my foes! And here...I don't feel like I fought hardly at all!"

After a moment, Alena realized that Kimiko wasn't saying anything, let alone moving. It seemed she had passed out from the pressure of the calf slicer alone! Alena blinked a couple of times, then sighed and shrugged her shoulders, realizing her words were falling on deaf ears. "...Whatever. Just...let her know to do better next time!" she asked a ring attendant, before turning and heading for the ramp.
