Yumie Hayashi vs. Lauren Fredericks

"Oomph!" Lauren groaned as she landed and was sitting up, rubbing the backs of her legs. Her head snapped to the side as she fell down onto her side grabbing her head and kicking the mat a couple times before slowly starting to stagger her way up to her feet. Lauren was down and in a daze but she wasn't out.

"That didn't go well, her momentum came to a crashing halt and Yumie has a nice window of opportunity she created for herself. She needs to capitalize though and hope that Lauren isn't able to work a counter!" Alaina said ringside as she kept calling the action as she saw it unfold in front of her. This commentary spot wasn't a bad one by any stretch, perhaps she could do it part time once she was winding down her in-ring career?

As Yumie sprang to her feet she stalked her opponent like a predator waiting for the woman to get up. One she was up Yumie would then attempt to kick her opponent in the face once more hoping to send her staggering and turning around one more but the Japanese woman wouldn't let her go far... instead she would wrap her arms around the woman's midsection before lifting her up and send her flying overhead but Yumie wouldn't let the woman go instead keeping her back and body bridged and going to a pin attempt of her own as the crowd cheered clearly having a favorite amongst the two competitors!

Lauren groaned as she was kicked in the head again, her head snapping to the side as she stumbled hearing the crowd cheering on Yumie. Lauren felt herself grabbed and crushed to the mat by the supple, her flabby legs kicking as she was held in a bridged pin! She heard the crowd calling her things like "flabby cow" and "lumpy legged loser" which just fueled Lauren's anger!

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

Lauren screamed as she thrust hard to the side and broke the pin! "Oh shut up you idiots, not like you can get off your asses and wrestle as good as I can!" Lauren shouted out to the crowd before slowly staggering her way up to her feet.

It was kind of hard to enjoy pinning an opponent when the audience was throwing rude insults towards them constantly but Yumie blocked all that out and bridged her body before losing her footing and falling onto her back as her opponent kicked out. Yumie simply sighed rolling over and getting to a knee before pushing up to her feet listening to her opponent's shouts towards the audience. Yumie cautiously approached her opponent pushing just enough to make it look competitive so the audience would still be entertaining. "Hey, just ignore them alright? You look fine" Yumie whispered trying to cheer her opponent before pushing with full force trying to back her opponent up against the ropes

Lauren grappled with Yumie and pushed back as hard as she could, hearing what Yumie had to say. She was screaming as she exerted herself to try to halt the progress Yumie was making, her shouts were loud but she did make eye contact for a second with Yumie giving her a small nod. She was so focused on trying to use her power to slow Yumie that she couldn't really thank her. She would have to remember to later.

She also just wasn't quite as strong as Yumie. No matter what she did she was being pushed back so she opted to stop fighting it. She thrust to the side trying to angle the turnbuckle behind her and she would let go while dropping down trying to send Yumie down towards the corner with a drop toe hold to salvage her situation!

Yumie wasn't expecting a thank you in return especially because she intended on beating Lauren and winning that match and no amount of audience jeers were going to change a thing about that. It was being made more clear with ever inch Yumie had the strength advantage against Lauren though that didn't mean the woman still didn't have a few surprises up her sleeve and that was proven as the woman shifted before tripping Yumie and sending her face first into the second turnbuckle causing Yumie to let out a loud pained grunt upon impact. Instinctually Yumie's hands shot to her face making sure her nose or anything wasn't broken and/or bleeding.

Lauren gasped and knew she had a chance to try to make something happen. "Guess what? The big blonde girl with a bit of a belly is gonna show ya what happens when ya mess with her!" She shouted to the crowd as she lift Yumie up and held her high stepping forward to deliver a backbreaker to her! Lauren grit her teeth keeping hold as she lift her up again, surging forward to plant her with a running powerslam to the mat, pinning Yumie immediately after!

Yumie let out a weak groan sounding growl as she was suddenly lifted up by her opponent after the woman was done shouting at the crowd weakly kicking and squirming before she was slammed down on the woman's knee. "Gahhhh!" Yumie cried out in pain arching her back slightly not having much time to process the pain before her opponent lifted her up once more this time on her shoulder moving a few feet before slamming Yumie down back first on the canvas causing her to cry out once more in pain. With her opponent on top of her the referee immediately dropped down beginning the pinfall count.

ONE, TWO, TH-

Yumie's shoulder shot up like a bullet. "No..." Yumie said breathily before slumping back down onto the canvas needing some time to recover.

Lauren pulls her own hair as Yumie kicks out! "No! Damn it!" Lauren shouts as the crowd cheers.

"Lauren is really trying to fight back and Yumie is showing some grit by kicking out. Lauren's offense is pretty impactful so both women are really laying it on the line here. We all know how I feel about Yumie's arrogance, and I do want Lauren to win but you can't help but be impressed by both of those ladies in the ring." Alaina said ringside.

Lauren staggered up, grabbing Yumie by the arm trying to whip her into the ropes!

Yumie slightly but weakly smiled hearing the crowd erupt into cheers after she kicked out though she once again heard a certain voice on commentary that annoyed her deeply. "I'm going to show this old bitch around the ring after this match" Yumie thought to herself as Lauren pulled her up and then forced her to run towards the ropes causing her to rebound off them. Yumie then lowered her shoulder aiming to drill it into her opponent's stomach in order to take her down to the mat with a spear!
