Challenge Accepted - Mina Morgan vs Renee Steinhauser

Renee would be rubbing her eyes after they got raked but she created spacing with the stomp. However, she didn’t take in the crowd growing with excitement as they saw Cynara grabbing a chair and walking menacingly towards Renee.

Once Renee regained her sight, it would take a few seconds to lose it again as Cynara hit her in the side of the head with a chair. She stumbled around as the crowd erupted. They are seeing Cynara how she was before her retirement, the youthful champion Cynara.

Yes, there were plenty of boos when the crowd erupted. It was a cheap shot from Cynara to go after Renee with the chair - she was out to beat the girl senseless, when she wasn't even supposed to be in this match to begin with, and with one of the oldest tricks in the wrestling world. But no matter how brutal or how underhanded Cynara's tricks might have been, there were some cheers mixed in with the cacaphony, too. No one could deny that for all her ruthlessness, Cynara was a clever woman; a keen strategist - just one who was willing to make use of all options on the table. So too, she was an icon in her own right, and her history with the business demanded respect. When the fans saw her this dominant, this commanding, they knew they were seeing a glimpse of a champion in her prime. Hearing it made her smirk just a little. Those few cheers would make up for all the boos in the world. She was back, and she knew it.

But Cynara couldn't stop there. After all, Renee had simply run her mouth too much, and she wasn't about to take that sort of disrespect. No, the brunette was going to have to suffer dearly before Cynara was done with her! Once again, she lifted the chair, bringing it down onto Renee's prone form - and then, she struck at her again and again to bludgeon her into the ground, a loud clang ringing out through the arena with every time it struck!

"Care! To say that! About me! Again?" she roared, punctuating each word with another strike! Cynara had made it clear that if Renee wanted to talk down to her, she was going to regret it!

Renee would stumble towards the ring post as she was stunned by the chair shot by Cynara. She definitely wasn’t expecting Cynara to do that as she thought that she was just some washed up retiree that was only there to help her daughter cheat.

Renee looked at Cynara and tried to go after her. However, she really should’ve thought that through as Cynara still had the chair in hand. With being the more experienced veteran, Renee would get hit in the head with the chair again. This time, Renee fell backwards and lay stunned on the floor. She was then getting beaten with the chair by Cynara as she heard every word separately as the steel slammed onto her body.

Eventually the referee went to stop this blatant abuse as they told Cynara to cut it out. They then told Renee to get back in the ring to continue the match, not considering the fact that Renee got whooped on the outside of the ring by her opponent’s mom.

The one chair shot might have garnered a mixed reaction, but as Cynara continued to hammer away at Renee's prone form, striking her again and again, it was growing quite apparent that she wasn't just here to turn the tides in Mina's favor. No, Cynara's involvement might have started that way, but it had quickly escalated. When Renee decided she was going to run her mouth, that was when Cynara knew it was personal. She wasn't just out to get even - she was out to hurt Renee. With every shot she landed into the hapless brunette's side, the crowd began to boo her louder and louder. But Cynara didn't care. She'd accomplished what she'd set out for. Renee had been reduced to a broken, helpless wreck. And once again, the name of Cynara Morgan was going to be in the headlines.

Eventually, the referee urged her to stop, but she only turned to the official with a smug smirk on her face. "Oh, I'm sorry," she muttered, "here I thought this was a no-DQ match? But...I suppose I can oblige. Just because you asked nicely." She took a step back, setting the chair down and sitting in it to watch what might happen next. All the while, she folded her hands in her lap, looking on with a smile. She knew the damage had already been done - whatever happened next, Renee had still taken a beating, and the tides may well have already been turned. She was still laying there helplessly on the floor, and she didn't show any signs of life - to any onlookers, it would seem as though Mina had already had the win handed to her!

Sure enough, Cynara's assault had brought the younger Morgan some time to catch her breath, and for the pain of the low blow to subside. Now, she had begun to crawl forward, pulling herself up onto the ring apron, and then reaching for the ropes to clambor up higher on her way into the ring. Cynara, though, was focused on Renee. Not because she wanted to interfere if she made a comeback - because she was morbidly curious to see if Renee even could.

Renee was a groaning mess after the assault from Cynara. She really couldn’t come back now. Not after the motherly rage Mina’s mom gave her. Renee reluctantly would use the apron to help herself up. She was in a daze, no condition to continue fighting. But she was stubborn enough to get back into the ring.

Renee used the ropes to pick herself up. She was a bit wobbly at the feet as she kept on using the ropes to balance herself. Renee also had her back turned to Mina as this was a golden opportunity for her opponent to take advantage and possibly seal the victory.

Indeed, now the opportunity was ripe for Mina to strike. Renee's low blow had all but taken her out of action a moment before, leaving her body locked up, paralyzed from the pain. But Renee had made the mistake of getting in her mother's face about it, and every second she spent arguing was another second Mina had to catch her breath and collect herself. Now, the pain had finally abated enough for her to be able to move again - she still felt a dull ache between her legs, and it was one that made her hiss under her breath as she rose to her feet, but that was nothing, in the grand scheme of things. She wiped her chin as she looked around at Renee, who was hoisting herself up with the ropes. Her back was turned to her - and she didn't suspect a thing. That was when Mina knew what she had to do!

Just then, the younger Morgan shot out without any warning! Taking full advantage of Renee having her back turned, she reached down and grabbed her under the arms, attempting to lift the brunette higher up the ropes! Hopefully, Renee wouldn't even see it coming - because Mina would begin to climb after her, intent on getting to the top rope, where she might be able to bring Renee down with a superplex!

Renee was then lifted up high in the air by Mina. The strength of her opponent was amazing as the crowd held their breath of what Mina was gonna do next. Renee was a bit too wasted to do anything but pathetically move from side to side.

This was pretty much seeming to be the end of Renee as she was on a 2 on 1 disadvantage. In her mind, she should’ve let Cynara go, stop messing with she deemed as some washed up wrestler. Well, if she were to have a rematch with Mina, she was definitely gonna make it a match to where if Mina lost, she would be facing Cynara right after. But for now, she just had to brace for impact as she was then hit with a superplex.

Renee was now laid on the mat, looking up at the lights beaming down on her. This is pretty much the end of the line for Renee as she waited for the inevitable pin from Mina.

Cynara had already taken care of the hard work in making sure Renee was softened up - and that meant that Mina was free to move in for the kill. With every step the blonde ascended up the ropes, she pulled Renee along with her, until they were balanced precariously on the top rope. There they teetered back and forth; their balance was a tenuous one. If Renee had more strength in her, she could well have pushed Mina off here, and sent her toppling to the mats below. Unfortunately for Renee, the Morgans had already done more than enough to ensure she didn't stand a chance of doing that. And even if Mina was still sore from the low blow she'd taken earlier, it wouldn't slow her down! Gritting her teeth, she ducked down and threw her arms around Renee's sides to hoist her up into the air - and then hurled her off the top rope onto the mats below!

Renee landed with a thud, and the whole ring shook as the fans burst out in gasps! As the ropes rumbled, Mina kneeled down a little lower to try and steady herself, hissing through her teeth. Renee couldn't fall that far without there being some aftershocks. But she could see that Renee was all but out like a light - and she was ready to take advantage of that fact! And when Mina made her impact, she had already committed to it being a big one!

Throwing herself off the ropes, Mina sent herself hurtling through the air - where she extended her elbow for a hard-hitting elbow drop right into Renee's chest! If the brunette was already dazed, this would surely knock her senseless! Hoping that would keep her opponent down, Mina would then reach behind her, hooking one of Renee's legs and pulling it up for the pin, as the referee moved in to count!

"ONE!"

Renee reacted from the elbow drop but it was just beating a dead horse at the moment. Her leg was hooked and raised in the air. She could only see the blinding lights from the spotlight as the referee got to the count of 1. It was already over for the Renegade as the referee continued counting.

The referee would call for the bell. Mina had defeated the Renegade thanks to her mom for assistance. Renee put up a good fight but all she could do now was to groan in pain and slowly start rolling out of the ring and onto the floor to recuperate herself and wonder what went wrong in that match.

By the time Renee hit the mat, the outcome of this match had already been decided. There was no way she could've bounced back from the punishment she had taken - not only at Mina's hands, but her mothers' as well. But that just wouldn't be good enough for Mina. If Renee thought she could stand in her way, her defeat had to be a statement. And she had already decided that she was going to end things with a bang - as she threw herself from the ropes, dropping an elbow down onto Renee with a loud crack that forced all the air out of the brunette's lungs! Mina wasn't usually one to do high-flying moves - she was used to competing in disciplines that didn't even use ropes - but she knew this was a situation that called for it. And in Renee's current state, it didn't take a high-flying specialist to land a crippling blow!

Mina hooked the girl's leg, but it was inevitable at this point that she would win. The ref counted the two, and then the three - and the whole time through, Renee lay there motionless, not even trying to fight back. The bell sounded - and Mina picked herself up to her feet, raising her arms in triumph!

"Well done, Mina...well done indeed." Cynara stepped into the ring to join her daughter, tapping her hands together in a golf clap. A few fans had booed the Morgans over their underhanded tactics, but the former champion never so much as turned in their direction - she had a proud history in the wrestling world; what did they know, and who were they to tell her what she could and couldn't do? Her aim with this match was to prove that the Morgan Dynasty still had what it took to stand as one of the premier wrestling families in the business - and in her mind, she had succeeded.

Doubtlessly, Renee knew that now. And, even as the brunette slipped underneath the ropes, Cynara still looked back at her with a devious smirk on her face. Now, she hoped, she had learned her lesson. And she hoped she wouldn't forget it any time soon.
