Putting to the Test

After the meetup with Astrid backstage, the Idol Dragons and the former heavyweight champion went to the gym together. Nashi jumped out of the car and gesutered them to follow as they went into the gym still wearing their wrestling gear. She did however pull Yukino to the side told her."So Yukino if you want to be our referee, I found these lying around here and thought you would look adorable in them tehe." She giggled as she pulled out a referee gear, all striped black and white and even having a cute mini skirt. "Will be in the ring waiting for ya." She gave her friend a hug before going to the ring and grabbing the top rope to hurl herself over to land in it to meet up with Astrid.


Nashi took the time to let out some stretches while wanting some light banter between the two."So Astrid any rules? or since you got that Youtube Channel do you wanna film us or something?" She asked stretching her joints to loosen up before she took on the blonde heavyweight before thinking of something funny."Actually I wouldn't mind coming on your channel one day for a crossover video if you'll have special guest." She chuckled before jumping up to get her body moving before going to her corner and draping her arms across the top ropes waiting for Yukino to get finished dressing.

If nothing else, Nashi was a go-getter. When Astrid had proposed taking her on in a private sparring session to test how far the pink-haired girl had come since their previous encounter, she figured they would plan on a date some time in the near future. Maybe next week. But Nashi volunteered to follow her to the gym then and there to get their training underway! Astrid had tried to talk her out of it at first - surely Nashi needed the time to prepare herself, and if it was already late she might not be working at her full potential, which might compromise her performance. But Nashi would have none of it - and, as Astrid soon realized, that was all the better for the both of them. If Nashi was ready to take her on right away, it showed how bold and fearless she could be, not letting even the most daunting of challenges keep her back from reaching for her dreams. That showed she had the spirit Astrid was looking for in her - the confidence to take on Astrid here and now, with no warning, and still think she could impress her! If that was what Nashi believed about herself, then Astrid looked forward to seeing how well she could deliver! It was settled, then - she had driven the two Idol Dragons to the LAW gym for a private spar!

Before she took to the ring, though, Nashi had a few words to say to Yukino - and when Yukino saw the referee outfit her partner handed her, she blinked a few times, staring down at it in abject confusion. "Wait, so...that was just lying around? And in my size? That's oddly convenient..." Still, when Nashi said she would look cute in it, she stopped and blushed hard before clearing her throat. "R-Right, uh, I'll get right to it-!"

Yukino slipped into the locker rooms to change - just as Astrid finished changing herself, stepping out to the ring to meet Nashi in her own wrestling gear. She put her arms through a couple of stretches, rolling out her neck and shoulders, before looking down at Nashi with a grin. "Ah, you know," she said, thinking back on all the videos she had put out on her exercise routine and other workout tips, "I think you could certainly draw some of your fans my way! But I don't just feature anyone, you know..." She took a step closer, flexing her biceps. "If you want to be a guest on my channel, you'll have to live up to my standards first! And we'll just have to see how well you do here, before I can grant you the honor!"

Astrid stepped in closer to meet Nashi face to face, just as Yukino came running into the ring in her referee outfit. "S-Sorry to hold you up-!" she blurted out, her head fallng in an apologetic bow. She panted for breath and gripped her knees as she came to the center of the ring - she had clearly gotten here in a hurry. Still, she looked back at Nashi with a tired smile. "H-How do I look?"

It was a weird coincidence that there was a referee gear that perfectly suited Yukino's size laying around in the gym. Nashi thought about it before giving a simple shrug not knowing what to do." I mean even so you'll look great!" She encourage Yukino to give it a try before the white-haired girl went off to put it on.

Meanwhile Nashi and Astrid met in the gym's ring with both of them getting into pre sparring banter. Nashi was pushing down on her knees make sure her legs will be top condition for the spar as Astrid began to speak. Nashi chuckled a bit at Astrid's teasing her about her muscles with Nashi shooting back a confident glare."Well if I win maybe the video could be called "How I lost a spar to a pop idol" that would get clicks wouldn't it?" She teased back as Astrid stepped forward for the two rivals to be up in each others faces with Nashi not backing down from her. For a moment it was complete silence as the two had their eyes locked on each other until Yukino broke the silence wanting know how she looked as a ref. Nashi placed her hand on her mouth letting out a small giggle before saying."Not going to lie Yukino, you rock that outfit! maybe we could do a photoshoot some day?" She teased before turning her attention back to Astrid as she titled her head down for a crack to be heard."Yukino we're ready when you are!" She said as she spread her legs out with her pulling down her arms getting herself ready for a test of strength between the two.

At Nashi's little taunt, Astrid threw her head back with a chuckle - but then, she looked down at the pink-haired girl with a smirk, her muscles tensing up beneath her skin as she readied herself for the match. "Well, if that happened, I would say that meant one of two things. Either I've really let myself go...or you've grown to the point where you're much more than just a pop idol!" She winked to Nashi. "If you ask me, though, the feats you've shown in the ring already give me faith that you could go somewhere. The only question that remains is seeing if they'll be enough to best me!"

Astrid cracked her knuckles, sinking down into a stance. She was ready to go at any moment...and then Yukino immediately defused the tension as she ran back into the ring, now dressed in her referee outfit. When Nashi complimented her on her look, that was enough to make her cheeks flare up with a blush. "Y-You really think so..?" she stammered out, before clearing her throat with a nervous chuckle. "Ah, heh...well, if you think so, maybe! Or maybe I should consider doing this guest ref thing more often..." Still, she cleared her throat and stood up straighter. Regardless of if she was flustered or not, Yukino still had an important job to do - she couldn't forget that. If she was going to referee this match, she needed to take it as seriously as the position deserved!

"All right, ladies, I want a nice, clean fight!" she began, glancing back and forth between Astrid and Nashi. "Er...not that I'd expect either of you to cheat anyway! If both of you are in your position, theeeeeen...begin!"

They didn't have a bell or a timekeeper, so Yukino clapped her hands to signal the start of the match. But that was enough! Astrid saw Nashi going in for a test of strength, and she was happy to return the favor - she nodded her head, grabbing her by the hands. "Now let's see how far you've come..." she said. Astrid was a noted powerhouse, and it seemed by all accounts that she should have been able to bulldoze Nashi in a contest of pure physical power - if Nashi was willingly going up against her face to face, it meant that she had to have faith that what she was doing would work. She was eager to see that! Now, as Astrid grit her teeth and pushed at Nashi as hard as she could to try and steer her backward, she was ready to see for herself if she could back that bravado up!

Nashi was letting out a big stretch to get her loosen any sore muscles she had as she listened to Astrid speak. When the blonde spoke it caused Nashi to let out a smile at the idea she was much more than a pop idol. Nashi soon blushed at Astrid winked her causing her too lose focus before shaking it out of her head as Astrid asked if her new skills would be enough to be enough to take her down. Nashi cleared her throat and began to speak."Sorry Astrid but getting me to blush won't throw me off my game as I have what it takes to beat you here and now!" She raised a fist declaring today will be the day she beats her in the ring!

Then Yukino came in and after Nashi playfully teasing her, she soon turned her focus back to Astrid sinking into a stance with her arms out in a defensive position as she waited with anticipation for the match to start. When it began Nashi and Astrid both went at each other meeting in the center of the ring for a test of strength!"GRRRRR" Nashi gritted her teeth as even though she tried planning her feet in the ground, it wasn't enough to stop the Norwegian heavyweight from steering her backwards!"NOOO!" She let out as she had to figure out a way to escape before she is trapped between Astrid and the ropes. Nashi tried one last exertion of strength to try and push Astrid back just by a little bit, if she succeeded, she would try letting go of Astrid's hands to try and send a kick straight to her stomach!

Astrid chuckled as she did a few last-minute stretches to get herself limbered up, cracking her knuckles. "Oh, believe me, I'm not here to flatter you...I'm here to test if you have what it takes, and that's exactly what I'm going to do!" With a grin, she dropped into a stance - but as soon as her eyes locked onto Nashi's, Astrid knew that it was go time. The friendly grin on her face hardened into a determined stare, and she took a step closer to close in the distance on her foe, her arms extended to offer a lockup. Regardless of how much she respected Nashi, Astrid still wasn't going to go easy on her. She was here to see if she could succeed on her own merits, after all - Nashi would have to prove herself. And she wouldn't get there without showing she'd put in the hard work!

Sure enough, from the moment their test of strength began, it was quite apparent that Astrid held the strength advantage. She pushed into Nashi with all her might, and against the encroaching onslaught, Nashi was forced to bend backward, taking a few steps away. But Astrid's gaze on her remained steady, and it didn't break. After all, Astrid wasn't really testing Nashi to see if she could beat her in the test of strength. She knew full well the pink-haired girl wouldn't have much of a chance there. Rather, Astrid was looking at what it was Nashi was going to do next - if she was going to let herself be intimidated by Astrid's size, or if she would still find enough strength in her determination to fight back. That would tell her everything she needed to know about Nashi, and how she faced her problems. And sure enough, even when Nashi was being outmuscled, she didn't give up - she let go of Astrid's arms, leaving the blonde hanging in midair for a split-second. Astrid was confused at first - confused for too long to save herself when Nashi followed that right up with a knee to her gut!

"Oof-!!" Against the force of the blow, Astrid doubled over forward, grabbing at her midsection to try and ease the pain of the impact. Her eyes narrowed and her teeth clenched in a grimace. She still wasn't going to go down from a hit like that - but even if Nashi was smaller than she was, she still packed a punch! If that was the case, though...Astrid was just going to have to hit her harder!

"That's...how you wanna play, huh..." she muttered under her breath, her words coming in between pants as she slowly lifted her head to look up at Nashi. Then, she would throw a strike of her own in Nashi's direction, cracking her arm outward with a forearm aimed right at Nashi's face!

Even though this was merely a sparring session, there was still tension in the air tonight as the two girls wanted to best the other no matter what. Both ladies went head-to-head with a tight lockup before Nashi sent a powerful knee kick right to the stomach of the former Heavyweight champ! It was so strong it caused Astrid to fall back with Nashi smirking at her opponent."You said about three minutes ago, you're aiming to see if I have what it takes right? Well here ya go!" Nashi fired back at the bent over blonde as she was about to go for her next move.

Nashi stepped backwards as she was about to push herself off the ropes to send a spin kick to Astrid's head but right before she did...""Huh....?" She gasped as she heard Astrid's words causing her to freeze before...."UAHHHHH-OOMMMPHFFF" A loud thud was made as Astrid threw a mean forearm strike at Nashi's face causing her body to turn over and land right on her shoulder as she hit the canvas!"AHHHHH!!!!!..... Don't worry I can still.... fight...." She let out a yell before reassuring Astrid and Yukino that it was just a regular bump she received, and it wasn't anything that would cause for their spar to end and them going to see a doctor about Nashi's condition. Nashi rolled onto her back before aiming to go for a quick leg sweep to try and knock Astrid down, if successful Nashi would use those legs of her to try and put the former champ in a painful headscissor!

"Oof-!" For all she lacked in size in comparison to the Norsewoman herself, Nashi still knew how to pack a punch - and when her knee smashed into Astrid's midsection, it sent the blonde stumbling backward. There she stood a moment longer, panting softly to try and get the air back into her lungs. But even still, when she looked back up at Nashi, it was with a smile on her face and a nod of her head. "Oh yes, I did - and you're doing pretty good so far! If you keep this up, you're definitely going somewhere..."

But Astrid wasn't done yet - far from it! She'd vowed that she wasn't going to go easy on Nashi - and if the idol thought that her strike had hit hard, she hadn't seen anything yet, when Astrid came back at her with a forearm that knocked her right off her footing! As Nashi hit the ground, Yukino let out a gasp and jumped back; she could only imagine the force behind such a blow, if it had taken Nashi off her feet so easily. "Nashi-! Are you okay..!?" Then she cleared her breath. "Oh, sorry...I'm not supposed to take sides in this!"

Either way, Nashi was down, and Astrid was looking to make use of that. Pushing herself to her feet, the Norsewoman strode closer, keeping her eyes locked on Nashi. But just because the pink-haired girl was down didn't mean she was out - and Astrid was about to learn that the hard way, when Nashi shot out her leg to kick at Astrid's ankles and take them out from under her! She let out a gasp, just before her footing gave way and she dropped down onto her knees. And when she hit the ground, her teeth locked in a grimace - just before Nashi threw her legs around her throat and squeezed, locking in a headscissor!

"Nngh...clever-!" Even on the receiving end of this move, Astrid had to admit that Nashi had been cunning in order to pull this off. She knew she couldn't beat Astrid in a head-to-head contest of strength, so she had lured her closer when she looked defenseless, only to compromise Astrid's balance enough to snare her in a hold! Now, Astrid could feel the pressure of Nashi's strength closing down around her from all sides, and her breaths grew hot and stifled - but, as she grit her teeth and huffed under her breath, she still resolved she wouldn't let it stop her, as she reached up to grab at Nashi's thighs to try and push them apart as hard as she could!

Nashi most certainly took a hard fall from Astrid and heard Yukino crying out for her, thankfully after showing it wasn't anything too serious her partner went back to her duties as the referee for their spar. She couldn't let the fall end the match for her especially after Astrid gave her high praise for Nashi landing the first blow of their fight. The Idol had to be smart about her next move and thankfully it worked without a hitch! Nashi was able to quickly bring the Norwegian giant down and quickly put her in a tight headscissor hold! Nashi pressed on her legs to sit up as she went to further tighten the lock. The pinkette knew this wouldn't enough to make Astrid tap but if she kept it up it would weaken her stamina to where Nashi could make further effective attacks!


"I'm more than just clever, you off all people should know that hehe"She giggled as she went to further the hold until she felt Astrid gripping on tightly to her thighs to try and break the hold!"NOOOO!!!!!" Nashi screamed in a panic state trying to shake them off and keep her in the hold until she realized she had no choice!"KYAAAA!" She let out as Nashi unhooked her legs from Astrid's neck to roll over to the center of the ring, not only to get some breathing room but also to make sure Astrid couldn't grab onto Nashi to set up for a powerful slam!"Is that all you got!?" Nashi shouted as she pushed herself up quickly to charge at Astrid as she was rising up herself for a powerful clothesline!

Astrid easily had the size advantage between her and Nashi - but the pink-haired girl was well aware that there was more than just size that went into winning a match. No matter how big you were, you still needed to breathe - and it seemed as though Nashi was out to exploit that fact when her legs latched tightly around Astrid's head! With every inch she pressed inward, Astrid could feel the force of her powerful thighs bearing down on her, and it felt like her temples were about to burst under the pressure. Her breaths began to grow choked and hoarse. Astrid would've commended Nashi on her quick thinking - but she wasn't going to let her guard down just yet! She had resolved that she would keep fighting at every turn to force Nashi to keep pushing her limits - and her fingers only grasped tigher around Nashi's legs as she pulled as hard as she could, prying her legs apart an inch at a time, until she finally broke the hold on her!

Astrid wouldn't have long to celebrate her success, though - things were still in motion. It was just then that Nashi disengaged, slipping off the Norsewoman's shoulders and going to land behind her. Astrid began to sit up, rubbing at her head and panting for breath. Nashi had managed to leave her breathless, and Astrid was going to need a moment to collect herself before she launched herself back into the fray. But Nashi, of course, wasn't going to let her get away so easily!

When Astrid looked up, she could see that Nashi was already flying back at her, closing in on her as quick as she could with her forearm raised! Her body went tense; she knew how quick Nashi could be, and how fast she could strike. But Astrid had more than enough confidence in her abilities to know that she could stand up to whatever Nashi threw at her - in fact, she was going to prove that! Just then, she would shove against the mat to hoist herself back up to her feet. And as she did, she would swing her leg in front of her, raising her knee to make a strike against Nashi's chest!
