Kiwi Warfare: Finlay Zeffer vs Karen Gale

[Bare]

Managing to take a firm lead in this match against her Finlay had bridged from his last suplex position, trying to pin her once more. A move that had worked well enough all things considered given the yell of pain from Karen, followed by a near fall from the ref! Naturally thought it wouldn't be enough to end things. Karen was still too strong and too stubborn to be done so easily. Thankfully though she would have at least expended some energy from kicking out.

As a nice added bonus of things though it left Finlay in perfect position to continue his offensive. Getting up and turning his attention back to Karen the blonde kiwi would make his way over, kneeling down on her back while reaching for her legs, bending them over each other before grabbing her chin and rolling back to try and lock in a bow and arrow submission hold!

Karen groaned as she rolled onto her side. Her back was hurting now, after being on the receiving end of Finlay's suplex. She had to get back on her feet somehow, back where she could take the offensive to Finlay again. That, she knew, was not going to be an easy task now that she was grounded, since she was starting to get worn out from Finlay's relentless offensive. And Finlay wasn't stopping there. She felt her boots being folded over, and the next thing she knew, her soles and chin were both being grapped, and Finlay's knee was digging sharply into her back...and then her entire body was arched backwards painfully as Finlay locked in a bow and arrow!

"Nnnhh...ttthhhhhh..." Karen hissed through clenched teeth, her arms waving wildly as she tried in vain to pry away at the grip on her chin. Her entire fit, perspiring body was being stretched outwards for the audience to see, her flexibility being tested to its limits as Finlay bent her across his knee. The audience went wild at this point, some cheering Finlay on, others urging Karen to escape. The ref girl quickly dropped down and asked Karen if she wanted to give; the Maori girl furiously shook her head, her short white hair spraying out droplets of sweat as she shook.

Breathing hard, and trying to fight back the urge to scream as burning pain overwhelmed her back, Karen did the only thing she could do and reached one arm forward, desperately trying to grab the bottom rope...

Holding the advantage now over his fellow Kiwi Finlay knew that he just had to keep up the pressure against her in order to make strides towards victory. It may have been a bit relentless and even ruthless, but he was sure that if the positions were switched Karen would happily bend him into a pretzel. As such he showed no mercy as he dug his knees deeper into her back, trying to apply as much damage as possible before she escaped.

Something he knew she'd manage based on how tough and skilled she had been all throughout their match so far. Sure enough within moments he looked up to see her grabbing the ropes, followed by the ref stepping in to insure a break was allowed, something Finlay would readily accept. Releasing his hold on Karen and rolling back, offering her the chance to stand back up while he took a few breaths in, waiting till she was back up before moving in once again.

"Tchhh...nnnngh...." Karen's darker skin was shining with sweat now as Finlay worker her over, her face almost invisible as it was obscured by Finlays hand as it cupped her chin. Finlay had her good, wrenching her tightly in an expertly-applied submission hold. The only thing she could do right now, sadly, was try to reach blindly for the ropes, and endure the best she could, despite the sheer, searing pain that was running through her back right now.

Then, finally, she felt her fingers snag the bottom rope. A second later, just like that, she was released, and allowed to roll over onto her front, huffing hard for air. Her back was a throbbing mess of pain after that bow and arrow, and, crawling upright, she braced herself against the bottom rope, panting for breath. She half expected Finlay to continue his assault after that painful hold...but to her surprise, no attack came. Reaching up to grab the top rope, the Maori girl hauled herself weakly to her feet and saw Finlay respectfully keeping his distance, seemingly waiting for her to get up.

She inadvertently blushed. Was this guy seriously trying to be chivalrous right now?

Huffing, Karen staggered up to her feet, and began to circle Finlay again. This time, though, she was done with simple tests of strength: wincing as she tried to ignore the throbbing pain in her back, Karen would burst into a run, faking a clothesline: at the last second, though, she would duck low and keep running, rebounding off the ropes and trying to come back and leap at Finlay, boots first, for her signature drop kick!

Finlay was generally someone that believed in fair sportsmanship. It was just something he always had a strong belief about, maybe cause he had come up fighting in less than reputable means that didn't have many rules, and he very much preferred what he did now as opposed to that. Or maybe it was just cause of how good an opponent Karen was thus far, after all she gave him no reason to want to press his attack on her beyond winning.

Whatever the case Finlay remained away from her until she was back up to a standing position and pushed off the ropes, carefully approaching him before running at him with a lariat! Eyes narrowing at this Finlay prepared himself and went to duck down past her which he did... easily. A little too easily. Which ultimately would turn out to be true as Karen zipped right past him and to the ropes, bouncing off them and back towards him!

'Shit!' Finlay thought to himself with wide eyes as he turned just in time to see Karen coming in hot towards him, feet aimed out towards him and smashing into his chest, taking him off his feet! "GAH!" Finlay yelled out in pain from the impact, falling down against the mat and recoiling onto his side, holding his chest in pain while gritting his teeth, trying to draw some breath back in but for the moment he was stunned!

Karen felt her boots slam home against Finlay's chest, knocking him hard onto his back. So far, Finlay was proving to be a strong, relentless and skilled opponent, and she saw no reason to hold back against him-- even if he was showing her a lot of good sportsmanship. Rolling to her feet, Karen grinned and pumped her fist in celebration, before striding over to Finlay, grabbing two handfuls of his hair to yank him to his feet again. She wasn't done with him, not by a long shot.

Unless Finlay did something to counter her, Karen would hook one of his thighs with her arm and try to lift him upside down, letting him hang for a few seconds before dropping down to suplex him hard into the mat, aiming to wrap him up for a pin in the process!

'Stupid.' Finlay thought to himself in between the pain blossoming in his chest from Karen's dropkick that had leveled him. Karen had tricked him with one of the oldest ones in the book and he had been thrown for a painful loop as a result. Trying to sit up as best as he could it wouldn't be before Karen grabbed a hold of his hair, pulling him up to his feet against his will before hooking his leg and then taking him off his feet and through the air before crashing down into the mat with another suplex that Karen transitioned into a pin fall attempt!

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

"GAH!" Finlay cried out as he pushed his leg forward while twisting himself as much as he could in order to kick out just before three!

Karen had been so close-- so close-- to scoring a pinfall, then and there. But Finlay, showing his usual tenacity, managed to get a shoulder up at the three count. Huffing, Karen rolled onto her hands and knees, and slammed a fist against the mat in frustration. Nothing was working, so far-- nothing she was able to do could keep her fellow Kiwi down, and he kept coming back with some devastating move of his own that left her nearly pinned or on the verge of tapping. She had to finish this guy off, and fast.

"Get up," she growled, yanking on Finlay's arm to pull him to his feet. Unless Finlay managed to interrupt her, Karen would try to grab under Finlay's thighs and try to hoist the guy up onto her shoulders. Gritting her teeth as she tried to hold her male opponent up, Karen would try to drop down and nail Finlay with her piledriver finisher, the Riptide!

Managing to just kick out of Karen's latest pin attempt Finlay was breathing heavily, trying to think and get himself in a position where he could potentially answer back to his opponent. Unfortunately Karen was not feeling so generous as she hauled him up against his will, grabbing his legs and lifting him up for what could potentially be a devastating move! Gritting his teeth and psyching himself up Finlay would tighten his thighs around Karen's head before trying to throw his weight back, hoping to pull Karen off her feet while curling his body inwards and pulling with his legs, hoping to counter whatever Karen was going for with a poison rana!

Breathing hard, Karen moved to heft Finlay off his feet, lifting him in preparation for a brutal piledriver finisher. At the last second, though, Finlay's thighs suddenly clamped shut around Karen's head. This had the unexpected and unwanted side effect of pressing Karen's face further into her opponent's crotch. "Mrpffff--!" Karen protested, her face going red from this closer proximity to Finlay.

The moment of distraction, unfortunately, would cost Karen dearly, as the next thing she knew, she was flying head over heels, before slamming hard with her head and shoulders into the mat! Her entire body folded over, her ass sticking inelegantly in the air from Finlay's counter; with Finlay's legs around her head and her shoulder on the mat, she was technically in a pinfall situation. In an instant, the ref girl was beside them, starting the countdown.

"ONE!"

"TW--"

At that moment, though, Karen instinctively kicked out, flopping back down onto her front. Dazed and lying facedown on the mat, she groaned, one leg kicking at the mat as she tried to get her bearings straight.
