Drake Benton had been in a FOUL mood. Not only did he suffer his first loss at the hands (and tail) of ”The Rascal” Rylie Marshall, he also saw on Twitter that his nemesis Oscar Orelash won a championship in another promotion. Drake lost his chance at gold and Oscar, a man he beat decisively, won gold before him. On top of all that, Drake had lost his hockey stick in the chaos of his match with Rylie and security could not find it. Drake was
pissed. After Oscar’s graduation party, in which Drake crashed and was beaten down by Oscar’s friends, Tina Kelly had exchanged numbers with Drake. The two had texted on and off. She had been kind to him despite Drake’s ongoing conflict with her mentee Oscar, friends, and even sister Katrina.
One day in the gym, Drake received a text from her saying that she got a match for him. Drake needed it. LAW had not booked him since his match with Rylie. Especially after he hit some fans when he yeeted chairs everywhere. But somehow Tina worked her magic with management and his punishment was over. Drake was ready to get back into action. He was booked for warm up match before the Saturday show to get the crowd going. He didn’t even know who his opponent was. All Tina said was she got him. Drake was excited. Both because of Tina’s kindness and that he got to fight someone.
The day of the match came and Drake waited in the heel tunnel for his cue. When his music played, The Colossus emerged from the tunnel roaring with fury.
The Colossus strode to the ring, trash talking the fans on the way. He grabbed a sign from a fan that taunted his win-loss record on it and tore it in half. He got in the ring and began stretching against the ropes. Drake was all business and couldn’t wait to pound the crap out of whoever came through that curtain.
