Megumi Mutoh/Tina Armstrong - Meeting the Champion

Megumi Mutoh had been doing great in LAW so far, with her racking wins since her debut. Even so, she was still adjusting to the new environment here, but she believed that she had adapted quite well, being a well-known name even before her entering LAW, being one of the big names of Wrestle Angels. But here, she would start working from the bottom before she could make her way up to the top, and the only way to do that was to work hard.

So, she decided to train at LAW's gym. Wearing her training gear underneath her jacket, she entered the gym, signed the form before she took her jacket off, leaving only her sports bra and black shorts. She wore a pair of black shoes for this occasion, and her hair was tied into a ponytail, with her ditching her signature ribbon for once.

First, she would do some light workouts, thinking about breaking a sweat for a bit. She considered asking for a trainer, but then she decided that she would do well on her own.

Tina had just finished running the ropes as she took a break for some water. Clad in a pair of white sneakers, tight light blue underarmor shorts and a white sports bra. She was already pretty sweaty as she leaned against the ropes looking out across the gym.

Tina saw someone who looked familiar. She was a former Wrestle Angel, and making a big mark in LAW so far. Of note for the middleweight champion this lady was also a middleweight.

Tina dropped down, rolling underneath the ropes and walking with a bounce in her step as well as a smile on her face. "Hey there! Megumi Mutoh right? I have been a fan of yours for a while now." Tina said extending her hand. "My name is Tina Armstrong by the way, nice to meet ya."

Megumi was planning to do some light workouts when she heard someone calling out for her. "Hmm?" She turned around and saw a woman. She recognized her as the current LAW middleweight champion, Tina Armstrong. It seemed that she just finished her training in the ring.

Seeing Tina smiling at her and extending out her hand for a handshake, Megumi smiled as well. Megumi wasn't exactly the friendliest person around, but she was courteous enough to other people that she wouldn't push them away. "I see. Thank you," she said to Tina. It's good to meet a fan. "Training hard, huh?" She said, trying to start a conversation with her. She was usually the awkward one when it comes to conversations, but she knew that she had been improving lately. There were still a lot of rooms for improvement for her, though.

Tina smiled and nodded with a shrug. "Yeah, if I want to stay ahead I have to. I have a damn bullseye on me at all times now." Tina said as she stretched, recalling her last title match and the toll it took on her. She came too close to defeat for her own liking in that one.

"So what brought ya to LAW? Am I gonna see you coming for my belt anytime soon?" Tina asked in a half joking, half serious tone. Megrim had been on a roll since coming to LAW and Tina took note of that. "I saw ya mess up a heavyweight pretty good, made a damn bloody mess outta her! I watched the match backstage and the stretcher team ran past me afterward."

Megumi chuckled awkwardly when Tina asked her about why she came to LAW in the first place. "Haha... it's pretty embarrassing to admit, but the reason why I came here is because of the payment," she answered Tina's question. "It's not that Wrestle Angels didn't pay me well or anything like that, but gotta go to a greener pasture when I see one, right? And my contract over there already expired and LAW offered me a contract, so I guess it's only natural for me to come here..." She shrugged as she said that.

"Well... now that I'm here, I may as well aim for the gold..." Megumi said. "But I can't just use my reputation from Wrestle Angels here, so I gotta start from the bottom and make my way to the top. But believe me, I already set my aim at that title of yours," she winked at Tina, indicating that she wanted to get a shot for that title sooner or later.

When Tina mentioned to her about how she defeated Lauren some time ago, she scratched the back of her head. "Well... I admit that I kinda sorta overdid that. But, a win's a win, right?"

Tina listened and nodded as Megumi expressed her desire for the belt that Tina happened to be holding. "A win is a win, and I figured you would get a title shot. You have done well enough to earn one, but just because you get a title shot doesn't mean you will succeed. I know I am only 19 and don't have the experience a lot of you do but I live and breathe all this. Nothing is gonna separate me from my belt if I can help it. Not even you." Tina said with a grin, crossing her arms.

"How about a little gym challenge? You pick anything you think you are good at and I will show ya that I'm no joke or transitional champ." Tina said as her grin grew, hoping that Megumi would accept that small challenge. "So what do ya say?"

Megumi was actually surprised to learn that Tina was nineteen years old. If that's the case, Megumi was nine years her senior. Well, if Tina won the title all by herself, her age didn't actually matter.

"A gym challenge, huh? Sounds interesting..." Megumi mused. "Let's see... what kind of contest is the right one, huh?" She gave it some thought for a while. "Any idea?" She asked Tina about it.

A big grin formed across Tina's face as she looked Megumi over. "Well, lets see if you can keep up with the kid when it comes to some arm strength." Tina said playfull as she made her way over to a table, bending over and placing her arm up in the table. "Good old arm wrestling to kick things off perhaps?" Tina asked as she swayed her hips a bit, eagerly waiting to see if Megumi would accept!

"Arm wrestling, huh?" Megumi wondered. She might be a wrestling prodigy, but her strength wasn't really her strongest asset, but she was still confident in her own strength that she believed that she could take Tina on. "Alright, let's get started, then."

She would place her arm on the table as well before grabbing Tina's hand. "Here we go. Ready when you are..." she said, looking confident.

Tina felt their fists clasp, and she tensed up. Both women were impressively built. Tina knew Megumi was strong but she was put to prove her very well defined physique wasn't just for show!

As the contest began Tina let out a groan, gritting her teeth as she pushed against Megumi with everything she had!
