Another Night, Another Match: Gohan vs Daniel Haines

Dan's groans and wincing as his body crashes on the canvas was music to Gohan's ears. Gohan finally has the opening his been looking for and you can bet your ass he wasn't gonna let up. He's through measuring up his opponent and he's got some idea what good ol' Danny Boy is capable of so it's time to show him what Gohan's made of.

As soon as Gohan hears the thud from Dan's back connecting with the canvas, Gohan mounts the big man. Climbing on top of the big man, Gohan uses his legs to pin Dan's arms by his side. Then, Gohan got to work.

With little chances of a defense, Gohan began to strike his helpless opponent. Left, right, left, right, and so on until his own knuckles began to sting a little bit. Not trying to knock his opponent out, Gohan got up and finished the sequence with a stomp to Dan's chiseled stomach. Hoping to daze the bigger man so he can continue on the attack.

The punches rained down as Dan struggled, his face taking shot after shot. He groaned as the last punch came in and the stomp to his abdomen hurt but that paled in comparison to the daze he felt after Gohan managed to mount him while preventing Dan from escaping. Dan was down on the mat and flat on his back, wide open as he struggled to even sit up at the moment. Things were not looking good for him after he felt close to being able to run away with the match.

Dan was visibly stunned. As he groaned, Gohan couldn't help but smile at his handiwork--his rally was successful and it would only make sense to keep the attacks going.

Towering over his dazed opponent, Gohan lifted the bigger man off of the mat and paraded him around the ring. He feels a slight strained in his lower back and thighs from the previous attacks, but he powers through to deliver a devastating slam to Danny Boy before hooking his leg and going for the pin.

"ONEEEE"

"TWO!"

Dan thrust a shoulder up and his torso to the side breaking the pin at the two count! "My aunt slams harder than that." Dan said, meaning it but not as an insult given that she was the current LAW Heavyweight Champion. he gasped for breath trying to roll away from Gohan so he could rise back up to his feet. He was in rough shape but he knew if he could get another run in on Gohan that he stood a good chance of being able to get him to stay down.

If Gohan was being honest, he didn't really expect Dan to be down and out so soon. As Dan kicked out and muttered something about his aunt, Gohan was already two steps ahead of his opponent and didn't really care what he was saying.

As Dan rolled to his side, Gohan attempted to continue the attack on Dan's head. Gohan went for Dan's exposed arm and attempted to drag it upwards in the hopes that he'd be able to drag Danny Boy's arm and head between his legs and secure a Hell's Gate submission!

Dan's probably not gonna submit, but at least this will allow Gohan to continue work on his opponent's already softened head.

Dan groaned as he was grabbed and moved before letting out a choking gasp as the hold was locked in! He thrashed and bucked about while stuck knowing he had to get out! Dan had a free arm and his legs were free so he did have one shot at an escape that he hoped would rally the crowd behind him.

Dan tried to get his feet underneath him while reaching up to grab Gohan with his free arm anywhere he could get a secure grip. Dan was going to try to struggle and get to his feet, lifting Gohan in the process. He knew the hold along with the strain of the lift would leave him light headed but standing upright powering his way to his feet while holding Gohan up would hopefully surprise everyone before he crashed down to the mat hoping to smash Gohan to the canvas while freeing himself from the hold!

Gohan had secured the hold! His leg was wrapped tightly behind Dan's neck and he had full control of one of Dan's arm and his head. As Dan struggled through the hold, Gohan did his best to keep his grip tight on Dan's head. Gohan squeezed his thighs while simultaenously pressing Dan's head even closer to his own crotch, effectively adding pressure while providing some humiliation to his opponent.

"Consider yourself lucky, Danny Boy! A lot of people would pay big money to be where you are right now!" Gohan teased as he took his free arm and ran it down his flexed abs. As Gohan taunted his opponent, he felt Dan secure a tight grip on his back and with strained force, he began to feel himself slowly lift off the ground.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk. Oh no, you don't!" As the crowd rallied behind Dan who was attempting to lift Gohan, Gohan began to throw some punches at Dan's head. With one arm behind Gohan's back and the other trapped between Gohan's thighs, Gohan's punches connected directly. He immediately felt the toll it took on Dan as he felt Dan's leg shake during his attempt. Gohan continued his attack in the hopes of thwarting Dan's comeback attempt.

Dan knew he was in trouble if he couldn't escape this, so when the punches came in he grunted but had to take them as best he could! He was rising and swaying but as the dazed Dan kept getting rocked he managed to stagger up and lift before falling, angling Gohan to the mat to take all the force of the impact! Dan was going to be a mess after freeing himself, but he wasn't going to give up and he had to power his way through this otherwise he was in deep trouble.

Gohan was astonished, and a little impressed, his opponent was able to lift him despite the submission hold and the direct hits to the head. He knew all too well that what goes up, must come down so he braced himself for impact. Even if Dan breaks free of the hold, he knew he had softened his opponent up and it would just be a matter of gaining the upper hand before Dan does.

As Gohan plummetted back into the canvas, he held Dan's head tightly hoping to still secure the hold once the invetable impact hit. The ring shook as Gohan's back made contact with mat. Gohan let out a muffled grunt as his softened back ached from the hit. His hold on Dan loosened up a bit. Gohan scrambled to adjust the hold, attempting to regain control of Dan's head before his opponent can get away.

Dan sent Gohan down as hard as he could but was in shock as Gohan kept hold of him! He reached up trying to flat out power his way free and shove Gohan away so he could create some separation between them to allow himself to rise up to his feet again before Gohan could keep going at him. That hold did a lot to Dan but he was trying to fight through the pain to get back into the match and fight back.
