Main Event: Alizeh Midori vs Kyoko Akan (c) - Standard Match for the Middleweight Championship

The match returned to the mat with Alizeh and Kyoko still facing each other and Kyoko on her back. She kept a lookout for her shoulders to avoid an easy pin and kept her arms up and moving to keep them off the mat, punching Alizeh quickly and sliding up to a better position to wrestle Alizeh down from when Alizeh's hand came back down and smashed her face. "Agggh!" Kyoko screamed, head slamming into the mat and stunning Kyoko for a moment. In that moment her waist lock was pulled up and off Alizeh and used to fold Kyoko up into a pin, Alizeh bridged to secure it and the ref checked the Belly Queen's shoulders for a pin while she recovered.

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

The sound of the pinfall almost reaching three was enough medicine for Kyoko's head to get her moving and kick out by bridging her head and kicking her legs to get her shoulders off the mat. Once she was free Kyoko rolled away, getting as far from Alizeh as possible, even leaving the ring if that was how far Alizeh was willing to chase her.

While the opening moments of this match showed that Kyoko held the edge in terms of raw power and strikes, Alizeh was now in turn reminding both Kyoko and the audience at home that when it came to mat wrestling and technical skill... That was Alizeh's domain over the middleweight champion. Taking Kyoko down to the mat and while having to take a few painful shots in turn, Alizeh had managed to take the advantage, pulling Kyoko's legs under her arms and flipping over her to secure the first pinfall attempt of the match!

Naturally being the first pinfall it meant it was almost guaranteed to not work, both Alizeh and Kyoko were far too fresh in the match for anything like that to work. However Alizeh did get a two count before Kyoko kicked out, which did make her smirk slightly as she turned over and got up to a standing position. A smirk that got wider as she saw Kyoko quickly roll out of the ring to get a breather, just as Alizeh had when Kyoko overpowered her in the start.

Standing up to her feet fully Alizeh would raise her arms up mockingly. "What was that about the power of a champion Kyoko?Or are you just scared cause you know that one more second is the only reason we aren't hearing AND NEW right now?!" Alizeh asked, normally not one to brag about a near fall of all things, but given it was Kyoko she didn't ming throwing a bit of shade towards the woman.

Kyoko rolled the entire way and left the ring, regrouping on the outside when Alizeh didn't follow. It was just a 2 count, and the Belly Queen wasn't worried yet. She was annoyed that she got rolled up like that, her own legs being used against her while Alizeh got a chance to boast. The Belly Queen glared at Alizeh while she paced around the ring. "That power is the reason a cheap roll up like that will only get a 2, don't think you did something special yet!" Kyoko screamed. She was still the champion and she was still going to show Alizeh a thing or two. The ref got to a count of 4 while Kyoko stayed outside and motioned for the champ to get back in, but Kyoko would remain outside and circle the ring a little longer to think. "Don't rush me bitch!" Kyoko said, and the count would finally reach 6 before Kyoko rolled back inside, but she didn't charge Alizeh like Alizeh did when she got back in. Too much was at stake to get reckless, she was the experienced one here, she was the one to beat. Alizeh should be playing her game.

"We already proved I'm stronger, and I doubt you want to find out who wins a punching match." Kyoko muttered. Slowly she started to go low, taking a wrestling stance with her legs spread and her arms out. "The only thing left is to break your confidence that you can out match my wrestling." Kyoko said. She closed in with her arms out ready to grab an arm if Alizeh allowed it, but her focus was on the left leg and if she got close sh e would go down and shoot for it, trying to grab it and turn to Alizeh's side, before swiping the leg and lifting it up. If she pulled that off she'd follow it by pulling Alizeh close and trying to get a grip just under Alizeh's legs, pulling her up and then stepping back anddropping her to the mat.

Smirking a bit as she listened to Kyoko's response to her taunt Alizeh would offer a shrug as Kyoko tried to dismiss her effectively managing the same feat that Kyoko had oh so proudly boasted about not even a few minutes ago. All it did for Alizeh was validate everything she was feeling right now. "Some power, guess it takes a bit to recharge huh?" Alizeh asked Kyoko, walking inside the ring to match Kyoko's pacing, keeping her eyes on her at all times in case she tried to lunge in when her attention turned elsewhere but no, it looked like Kyoko was intent to linger and recover which had the same effect for Alizeh, hell if anything it just made her look better given she wasted little time getting back in after her own reprieve.

"Oh come on Kyoko, you know it's not a bad look for the champ to need such a long break not even five minutes into a match!" Alizeh called out to her opponent, just to further the mocking a bit and bait the woman a bit and luckily regardless of how well it worked Kyoko would soon be coming back into the ring, prompting Alizeh to put her fists up in preparation, narrowing her eyes as noticed Kyoko's lowered stance. When the Belly Queen made clear what she had in mind though Alizeh couldn't help her herself with what she did next.

"Pfft haha.. oh you're serious?" Alizeh asked after laughing a bit before getting her answer as Kyoko darted in towards her, looking like she was grabbing her arm, which Alizeh allowed with the intent of turning it around for herself, only for Kyoko to go low for her legs instead! 'I see.' Alizeh thought to herself with a frown before Kyoko's successful grab of her leg was followed by the woman lifting the limb and pulling her in close.

Narrowing her eyes at this Alizeh knew she'd only have a small window to react. Pushing off with her standing leg before Kyoko could grab it Alizeh would brace her foot on Kyoko's hip, her hands reaching out to grab hold of Kyoko's shoulders before if successful dropping her weight backwards to pull Kyoko along with her down to the mat, trying to roll the Belly Queen over herself and onto the mat, with Alizeh on top straddling the woman's chest should she be successful!

Kyoko could only scoff at Alizeh's attempts to bait her back in the ring before she was ready. "The challenger trying to tell the champ what makes them look bad is like a fan trying to tell a professional baseball player how to throw a pitch." Kyoko dismissed before she entered the ring when she wanted to. With a new plan to try out, Kyoko would focus on going for Alizeh's leg and pull the challenger at an angle that she had with her leg feeling Alizeh trying to act and pull her down as well. Kyoko felt the weight shift try to beat her and when Alizeh rolled Kyoko would roll with it and bridge to fight back, using the leg she was holding to leverage herself and fight back a little.

Alizeh was not getting an easy pin or moment this time, Kyoko would try and turn with her head bridged and twist herself under Alizeh with the leg still held, then go for her foot to pull it up and behind Alizeh. She would grab the the foot and pull it up so she was bending it back and leaning on Alizeh, trapping the leg and going for a single leg crab.

Alizeh ignored Kyoko's attempt to dismiss her, there was no trying to get through her really, not without first proving her wrong physically which she was out to try and do now that the Belly Queen was back in the ring. Locking up and feeling her leg taken Alizeh would attempt to roll Kyoko over her in a more subdued monkey flip so that Alizeh could end up on top of her opponent. . At least that was what she wanted but Kyoko had managed to turn the tables, bridging herself and forcing Alizeh off while keeping a hold on her leg.

Something that Kyoko looked to take advantage of as she turned out from under Alizeh got up, and now looked to try and lock in a single leg boston crab on her! "Ngh!" Wincing and grunting in pain as she took the pain of the submission Alizeh would shift and groan for a bit but otherwise remain still. The pain was certainly there, but they weren't deep enough into the match yet for it be agonizing, as for her not doing much beyond reacting... Alizeh was waiting.

After all she wasn't an idiot and she didn't lie when she said she enjoyed most of Kyoko's matches. As such she had done her research on the woman before this bout, and whenever the Belly Queen got a hold like this in she liked to do a dramatic crank on the leg to ramp up the pain of the hold, and while effective, it gave a opening, a window to turn things around.

Which was why, the moment Kyoko did so, Alizeh would react, twisting on her side while reaching out and grabbing Kyoko's ankle, pulling on it as she twisted to pull the woman off balance and off her back. If she managed to do so Alizeh would throw her free leg up, grabbing hold of Kyoko's own foot and taking advantage of her caught leg to scissor Kyoko's own leg, trying to reverse the single leg crab into a leg bar of her own!

The Belly Queen rolled into place awkwardly, the bumpy ride it took to get her not what she'd planned. But the messy outcome still ended in her favor and put Alizeh on her stomach while Kyoko would bend her leg and the lower half of her back with the crab. Kyoko had to settle in for a second, watching Alizeh struggle against the hold and try not to scream too much. Kyoko would keep the hold locked in and in anticipation of Alizeh trying to crawl to the ropes, she would start to pull on the hold a little more. But when she began to pull back and put more pressure on her legs she felt Alizeh shift and reach for them instead of flee. Her confusion lasted until she felt the leg pulled away from her.

"Agh!" Kyoko gasped, falling forward and barely catching herself from hitting the mat with her face, but still landing hard enough that she stayed down, all for Alizeh to try and twist her leg and then scissor it so she could twist Kyoko's leg in a knee bar. "AAaghh!" Kyoko screamed, head shooting up while her fists clenched in pain. The submission was bending her leg badly and now the ref was checking on her, seeing if she submitted to this sudden hold.

Generally if you asked Alizeh would call herself a jack of all trades, someone that did a little bit of everything and anything at the expense of not truly being a master of any. However if there was one thing she could truly claim to a master of in any capacity, it was technical mat wrestling and submissions. Which was why Alizeh felt so lackadaisical when Kyoko was so eager to challenge her in this field. Because she knew full well that she could not only match Kyoko here, but best her all together.

Something Alizeh was poised to do as she managed to reverse Kyoko's single leg boston crab right into a knee bar, all because she had managed to anticipate Kyoko's deepening of the hold and making her pay for it. Smirking as she heard Kyoko scream in pain Alizeh would continue pulling and twisting on Kyoko's leg, even gripping Kyoko's boot with her hands to start twisting her foot as well to add a ankle lock into the mix. "Whats wrong Kyoko? Just reverse the hold like I reversed yours? Or do you need a rope break? If so be prepared to work for it." Alizeh said, adding her own wrench, or rather twist onto Kyoko's leg and ankle to punctuate her words!

Her mat wrestling was a point of pride not because she was the best at it, in fact when it came to grappling in her family she was the worst growing up. It became a point of pride because Kyoko had worked so hard to achieve it, and while it hurt a little to show that skill to Alizeh who seemed to have acquired it naturally, Kyoko would never regret showing off how far she'd come to be able to fight everyone on any footing. It wasn't her ability to outpunch anyone and break their bellies that made Kyoko great, it was her consistent effort to beat everyone on any level and make them realize that their was nothing Kyoko Akan couldn't do. Former hentai champs had been outfucked by her, heavyweights squeezed into submission or knockouts, hardcore fighters who's signature weapons were used to break them. Kyoko's done it all and that wasn't going to stop with a technical wrestler. She wanted her to work for it? Name something Kyoko Akan hadn't worked for.

"Hrrrgggh!" Kyoko screamed, feeling the hold tighten and Alizeh added an ankle lock while trying to get Kyoko to submit. Kyoko didn't want to take bets on how long crawling to the ropes would take and the damage that could be done to her leg, many put focus on her arms but without her legs most of her moves like the Spear or the Queen's drop had the same power that they needed, and it didn't take much to make an ankle give out. Kyoko tried to turn and reached for Alizeh's heel, pulling on it to try and pull it off, even when faced it it being locked against the other heel. She knew freeing herself wouldn't be easy so her plan was to get it loose enough to pull Alizeh closer while trying to turn her body enough to get the angle she needed without going too far and hurting herself more from Alizeh's ankle lock, with her leg raising Kyoko would throw kicks at Alizeh, and at the same time punch around the end of Alizeh's leg to force the space she needed to separate herself from the Emerald Storm.

Kyoko bringing this battle down to the mat with technical skill as the focus was going to be a mistake for the champ in the long run and Alizeh was going to make abundantly clear to the woman. Managing to reverse the single leg crab the woman originally had her in Alizeh would tighten and wrench into her own submission, the knee bar and now ankle lock combo that had Kyoko screaming and writhing in pain on the mat, yet strangely enough not trying to crawl for the ropes. Which likely meant she would try and answer Alizeh's challenge and reverse it instead. Narrowing her eyes at this Alizeh noticed how Kyoko was turning, angling herself towards Alizeh before raising her free leg up to shoot it at the greenett to kick at her!

"Ngh!" Alizh grunted from the kick before feeling something else impacting her, that being Kyoko's fist impacting her leg making Alizeh hiss slightly as she realized she had to change tactics and quickly if she wanted to keep up the pressure without taking too much damage. Releasing her legs from around Kyoko's and sliding them out from under Kyoko's leg Alizeh would look to twist around and get up to her feet, standing up with Kyoko's leg in her grasp. However Alizeh wasn't looking to transition into another submission hold, instead she would look to turn and drop to the mat with Kyoko's leg in tow, twisting as she did so to try and bash Kyoko's whole leg into the mat with a dragon screw!
