Facing Your Demons: Gohan vs Oni

Gohan scored a direct hit with enough momentum to level a regular man. Unfortunately for him, his opponent might be an actual demon. He felt Oni's knees buckle above him, but the giant was able to catch himself and straighten his legs as if the hit didn't happen.

Gohan's arms were still wrapped around Oni massive thighs when he felt his opponent wrapped his ginormous arms around Gohan's waist. Gohan released his grip hoping to quickly counter Oni, but before he knew it, he was lifted off of his feet and onto Oni's shoulders.

Just as quickly as Gohan was hoisted up, he was forced back down onto the mat. Gohan back instinctively arched as it hit the mat and he bounced back up with his arms stretch out reaching for the nearest rope. Oni towering above him, taunted him, and Gohan's focus shifted. He knows he can win this and he wasn't gonna let one powerbomb end it.

Swallowing the pain, Gohan quickly got up and immediately charged Oni once again, hoping to take him down with a clothesline.

"Y-yes. Yes. I can. How about this?" Gohan retorts as he ran towards his opponent with his arms outstretched.

Oni watched as he charged at him and braced himself, his own arms outstretched as he awaited the young man to get close enough.

As Gohan quickly approached his opponent, he realized Oni had also stretched his arms out. Gohan's agility allowed him to change his tactics at the last minute and duck under the demon's outstretched arm. Once he was behind Oni, he stopped his momentum altogether and turned himself around once more with his arm outstretched, hoping to hit his opponent with a clothesline from behind.

Oni could only look back and see as the young fighter hit him from behind. The attack barely staggered him, however.

As Gohan's hit connects, Oni looks back menancingly, seemingly unbothered by the impact. It seems none of his attacks are affecting his opponent and he can't keep trying to wear him down because he'll end up being the one exhausting his stamina. With that said, Gohan attempts to go for a more hard-hitting move.

Gohan wrapped his arms around Oni's waist. His muscular build is solid and seemingly unmoving. With all his might, Gohan attempted to lift Oni off of the ground and deliver a German Suplex

Oni barely felt his feet lift off the ground as Gohan tried to suplex him.

Gohan grunted heavily as he attempted to lift his opponent off of the ground. Though, it didn't come as a surprise that lifting the demon would be a challenge. It was a challenge Gohan was willing to take for the sake of landing a heavier blow.

He felt Oni's feet lift of the ground briefly, but he decided to take some caution due to the strain he began feeling in his his lower back from trying to lift his much heavier opponent. Instead, he paused his attempt and while still holding on to Oni's waist took a few deep breaths.

After catching his breathe, he repositioned his hands lower, around Oni's hips, hoping this would give him the leverage he needed to throw the demon up and over his head.

Oni snarled and threw his elbows back at Gohan's head, hoping to dissuade his advances.
