Big and Small: Lauren Fredericks vs. Asuka Hishashi

"You almost got away from me!" Lauren said as she managed to land on Asuka's side, happy that her offense connected in some sense. She rolled Asuka onto her back and laid across her chest, reaching down to hook a leg and try to pin the small lady!

"ONE!"

Lauren wasn't sure how much it would take to keep Asuka down, and was not going to be surprised if she kicked out. However, it would take a lot of energy for Asuka to break the pin, and that is what Lauren wanted. She had to sap away at her speed and endurance if she really wanted to win this. Keep Asuka on the ground and use her weight, Lauren had her strategy set now she just had to pull it off in practice.

This was not a great position to be in. Her waist felt almost numb, and now a woman quite a bit larger than herself was resting almost lazily across her chest. Asuka's legs kicked wildly at the air, while her arms pushed straight up against Lauren's weight with as close to no effect as made no difference.

And then, as if just to taunt the young blonde, one of Lauren's powerful arms managed to catch the lightweight's slim right leg and dragged it in tight, adding even more pressure and turning Asuka's escape into an almost herculean task. Lauren's body wouldn't budge at all, and her leg didn't have the strength to compete with the bigger wrestler's leverage.

"Two!"

If it wasn't for a rookie mistake on Lauren's part, the match would have ended then and there, with Asuka's defeat looking like the easiest thing in the world. Instead, Asuka's arms gave up their hopeless struggle to press Lauren upwards, and shot out around herself, feeling for anything to grab onto that might help pull herself out, and found the bottom rope!

The referee quickly slid onto a knee and motioned to Lauren for a rope break, and Asuka dragged herself closer to the ropes, panting for air.

Lauren heard the referee and got up, backing off to the middle of the ring to allow Asuka the time to pull herself to her feet. Lauren stayed focused on Asuka and readied herself. Sure, letting her get back up may have been dumb but it was the most proper way to honor a rope break. Lauren nodded to Asuka as she struggled back up to her feet.

Once she was ready Lauren would move in again, once more reaching out to initiate a grapple!

Asuka straightened herself up and pushed her waist forwards to stretch her back, biting her bottom lip and pouting at Lauren as she tries to undo the damage done by the big woman's crushing splash. After a second, she moved into her usual stance, slightly hunched forwards and with her legs apart, arms close to her flat belly. With the heavyweight moving in to try and get close, the lightweight began to back off and circle, trying to match Lauren's speed to keep just out of her reach while she came up with a new plan of attack.

But Lauren suddenly stepping in to grapple with the little Japanese girl pushed her to improvise, leaping backwards once onto her right foot, then again on her left, and then took a quick glance behind her to find the ropes, jumping up to the middle and springboarding back at Lauren, trying to land on her shoulders to wrap both legs around the powerful heavyweight's head and pull off a hurricanrana, perhaps her favourite move.

Lauren had Asuka in her grasp but it proved to be her undoing! She felt Asuka wrap her legs around her head and whip her hard to the mat! Lauren cried out in pain as she landed, grabbing at her lower back and kicking in pain as Asuka had again caught her, taking the fight to the heavy woman! This was not a good spot to be in and Lauren knew she had to get back up to land offense of her own if she were to win this match!

Unfortunately for Lauren her body wasn't totally cooperating, as she tried to sit up only to slump back to the mat wincing in pain at Asuka's hands! She felt a bit embarrassed to be on the losing end of things against a woman so much smaller but here Lauren was, flat on her back looking up at the arena lights!

Asuka blinked with surprise at how easily she had taken down her opponent. She was half expecting the move to be utterly pointless, and for her attack to end in a rather painful and thunderous reversal. Instead, here she sat atop Lauren's chest, with the bigger wrestler struggling to focus herself and even begin to stand back up. Quite a good thing, for Asuka at least.

Sensing the opportunity to keep the momentum going, and get in a few more hits on the powerhouse heavyweight, Asuka rolled onto her back, brought her knees up to her chest, and rolled quickly off to the side, hoping to get to a safer distance before Lauren was aware that she was even trying to get away. If she wasn't interrupted, Asuka would push quickly up onto her feet and leap for the nearest set of ropes, aiming to climb to the top, and then launch into a moonsault, looking to splash all of her weight down onto Lauren's tough abdomen.

Lauren was hurting, but kept her eyes on Asuka. As she quickly climbed up the ropes Lauren grit her teeth watching her sail down at her. Lauren raised her knees up, knowing that Asuka's abdomen sailing down into Lauren's knees would be an unexpected, devastating counter! Lauren needed an opening to get back in and devastate a stunned Asuka and this counter was the moment she had been banking on!

Lauren wasn't going to let her push her around anymore. No more flash, speedy offense. Lauren was going to slow the pace down, and grind it out now by using heavy hitting offense on a grounded Asuka.

With her take on the moonsault being way more about showing off than actually being fully effective and efficient, Asuka didn't see Lauren curling up, nor was there anything she could have done even if she had. Both eyes closed, arms stretched out, and feet tightly together, along with a silly smirk on her face, Asuka was utterly unaware that things were about to go very wrong, her only warning being that the crowd were almost silent, which was rare whenever someone tried a move like that.

Instead of landing flat across Lauren's comparatively soft torso, the bigger woman forced to absorb the energy from the impact, Asuka found herself landing flat across Lauren's bent knees, feeling as if someone had just driven a pair of hammers into her slim and remarkably vulnerable belly. Her face contorted with agony, and her mouth opened up to squeal, but the air had been crushed forcefully out of her lungs, and so Asuka was left to roll sideways off of her opponent and curl into a tight ball, desperately trying to keep herself from throwing up.

Lauren felt the pressure of Asuka landing on her and groaned, getting hurt from the moonsault. However, Asuka clearly took the worst of it as she laid on her side.

Lauren stumbled her way up to her feet and felt like this opening could be a golden opportunity. She had to hit Asuka hard and right now. She grit her teeth as she bent over to grab hold of Asuka. Lauren had worked on a new finisher she was eager to attempt!

The big woman picked up Asuka holding her across her chest. She took a deep breath as this was a combo and needed fluid motion to maximize the damage. Lauren lift Asuka high, stepping forward to bring her back across her knee for a back breaker! Lauren would then try to spring up and lift, throwing Asuka back as hard as she could to cap things off with a fallaway slam!

Asuka grunted and cried out in protest as Lauren took a tight hold of the smaller fighter. She was hoisted up high, and held belly-to-chest against Lauren's tall and dominant figure, all the while kicking her legs and swinging her arms vaguely at Lauren, squeaking and grunting and demanding "Let me go!" over and over, completely uselessly, as the older woman set up her finisher.

For the second time in just a few moments, all the air in Asuka's lungs was forced to evacuate as Lauren brought her down with thunderous force across her knee, making the blonde's eyes go wide and mouth to open as if to scream. From a heavyweight, just the backbreaker alone would have worked as a fairly effective off-switch for all but the toughest lightweights, and Lauren wasn't even done there.

Before she could do anything more useful than reach for the ropes, Asuka was hoisted up for a second time. Struggling to get air into her lungs, Asuka couldn't talk quite as well, which most people would see as a plus, but still tried to demand (or, more like beg at this point) "Let me go!" again. And surprisingly, Lauren complied, flinging the young wrestler backwards to land on her already injured spine.

With all of her energy sapped by the two brutal moves, the streamer simply laid flat on her back and desperately panted for air, her chest rising and falling quite rapidly. By this point, Asuka was ready to go home for the night.
