The Powerhouse Vs. The Oracle: Annie Clark Vs. Tiki Lowell

Annie’s strength managed to help her out, as with enough force, she was able to push Tiki out of her Boston Crab attempt. Though the after effects of what would happen after she managed to push Tiki off would come as a surprise.

“OOF!” Annie grunted as Tiki landed butt first right next to Annie’s head, the small vibration caused by the ring catching Annie off guard. Annie could only have a quick around, learning her position and where Tiki was right next to her.

Quickly, Annie could feel her head being lifted up and grabbed, her eyes now staring right at Tiki, whatever happened next could be bad, so Annie had to come up with something and fast.

“OH NO YOU DON’T!” Annie said before using her free arns to attempt to grab both of Tiki’s hands. If she managed to do that before Tiki could start wrapping her legs, Annie would lift herself up to her feet while keeping grasp of Tiki’s arms. Once they would both up, Annie would force Tiki to get closer to her by pulling on her arms, before grabbing Tiki by the waist, and then lifting her for a Belly to Belly Overhead Suplex.

Hopefully all that goes to plan.

In retrospect, Tiki probably should have seen this coming when she registered the fact that she didn't actually hit Annie when she fell. The powerhouse wasn't stunned enough to give the veteran enough time to execute her move. As a result, the farmgirl was able to grab Tiki's wrists to free herself before going on the counterattack.

Now in Annie's grasp, Tiki had neither the time nor preparedness to defend herself, so she was unable to stop the redhead from pulling her close and chucking her overhead through the air. About to land headfirst, Tiki got her arms underneath herself to break her fall, then she would roll into her landing and use her momentum to quickly get back up to her feet.

Annie managed to successfully throw Tiki with relative ease, she had lifted wrestlers much bigger than the Veteran. What came as a surprise to the southern girl was that when she turned around and expected Tiki to be writhing around in pain, she had managed to stand up and be relatively unharmed.

“Yall know, should have expected as much.” Annie said, trying not to overreact to the fact that Tiki managed to basically escape any pain.

However, she was not going to give Tiki any time to rest, as Annie came charging at Tiki with a clothesline, hoping to knock the green haired lady down.

Almost as soon as Tiki was back on her feet, Annie was charging in with her arm outstretch. Normally seeing a Clothesline would have the veteran licking her lips as she picked out one of the million ways to counter a move which Tiki personally considered to be a rather ineffective choice that people got hit by far more often than they really should. But Annie was fast enough, and started from a close enough distance that the Middleweight had time to do nothing more than just get out of the way. Though if that's the case, is it that others are uneducated, or am I just not giving the move proper credit? Even though her mind seemed to be more occupied with the viability of the Clothesline, she was still able to fall down to her butt, and then to her back to evade Annie's attack.

"To be honest with you, I never really got why the standard for belly-to-belly is to throw the opponent through the air," Tiki said after she had gone down to her back so that Annie's arm would fly well above its target. "I understand that if you Suplex someone like that straight onto their face, you're rather likely to paralyze them, if not break their nose and shatter their faceplate. But what's stopping somebody from just adjusting a bit to slam them shoulder first instead?" Tiki stood up and exhaled before waving her hand. "Apologies, perhaps my age is finally catching up with my mind, with how scattered it seems to be. Wrestling analysis aside, let's get back to actually doing it," said Tiki, pushing aside both what Annie did hear, and what she did not. Tiki knew that the Smol Powerhouse was not an opponent that she could get away with losing focus against for very long.

Annie was locked and loaded, and ready to nail Tiki with her clothesline, though her face turned into a look of shock when Tiki managed to fall to her back, causing Annie to completely whiff on her attack. Almost tripping on herself and falling down, she managed to hold her balance.

“You sure are talking a lot for someone in strike distance partner.” Annie retorted as she proceeded to head straight into her next move.

Annie would run straight towards Tiki and look like she was looking to go for some running strike, hopefully faking Tiki out, if that managed to work, she would manage to quickly launch a knee strike to Tiki’s midsection.

"Fair," Tiki said, still speaking despite Annie actively bearing down on her with fist raised. The veteran decided to go for a counterpunch, aiming to exploit an opening in the redhead's guard left by her charge. Tiki turned to the side opposite of Annie's fist and aimed a sharp straight punch up into the Lightweight's jaw.

Things would not be quite so simple however, as Annie's initial punch was a feint. She pulled her fist back and instead drove her leg out, leaping forwards with a knee strike. Both blows connected, and with Tiki stepping into her punch, and Annie flying forward for her knee, both took more than the full brunt of each other's attacks as each slammed into the other's attack just as hard as the attacks themselves actually connected.

"GAH!" Tiki let out a loud hiss as she staggered back. A sharp pain spread throughout her entire body before it centralized at the actual point of impact. Tiki was panting, bent over and leaning to the side, struggling not to drop to a knee, both hands holding her ribs. Even if Tiki's punch left Annie vulnerable, she wouldn't be able to capitalize. "I knew you hit hard, but, good Lord you hit hard."

Annie launched a hard knee right into Tiki’s midsection, but she was however caught by surprise when Tiki’s fist landed straight on her jaw. “GAH!” Annie said as she went back a few steps.

Annie checked her jaw, making sure that nothing was broken or dislocated, luckily for her there was nothing like that, only a big red bruise on it. “Yall pack a nasty punch too, it hurts even to talk, but I know whose strike was stronger.” Annie said with confidence as she began to approach Tiki.

Annie would attempt to grab Tiki by the head, and force her to stand up straight. If that managed to work, Annie would attempt to slam Tiki’s back over one of her legs with a Backbreaker.

Abnd if all goes to plan, Annie would straighten Tiki back up again, before wrapping her arms around Tiki’s midsection, and attempting a Bearhug on the Veteran.

Though Tiki was unquestionably hurt by Annie's knee, she was still fully able to gather herself in time to mount a defense against the approaching Lightweight. Especially considering Annie had stopped to check her own health as well. But the redhead was still on the greenette quickly, forcing Tiki into a grapple that she knew she was disadvantaged in.

Tiki wanted to bail from this lock up with Annie as soon as physically possible, wanting to give the powerhouse as little opportunity to make use of her gargantuan strength as she could. Annie's arms were coming up at Tiki's head, while the veteran's own arms were at a slight downward slope, providing a positional advantage that gave Tiki some time before she would would get overwhelmed by Annie's superior might.

With that bit of time, Tiki would throw herself backwards, both pulling with her arms and falling towards the mat with her body. This was done with the intent to pull Annie forwards and down toward the mat. Then as they fell, Tiki would pull her leg in and stick her foot into the farmgirl's toned stomach, then kick up with it as her back hit the floor, hopefully sending Annie flying up and over the veteran and breaking the grapple. After which the greenette would stand and compose herself. But if something did go wrong somehow, Annie would get a position on top of Tiki practically for free.

Annie was only focusing on overpowering her veteran opponent Tiki, hoping to eventually get her in position for an over the knee backbreaker. She gritted her teeth as Tiki was resisting incredibly hard. “COME ON!” Annie said as she was starting to lose her composure and get frustrated with her opponent.

This would come back to bite her, as Tiki managed to pull her arms and throw Annie backwards, causing the farmgirl to flip and then land hard on her back. “AAAGH!” She yelped.

Annie could only hold her back in pain, it seemed like no matter what Annie did, she was getting outsmarted by Tiki at every turn.

Tiki immediately took note of how Annie had taken her landing after being kicked off. Hmm, doesn't seem that she knows how to fall properly, thought the veteran. While Tiki's maneuver might reasonably jar a surprised person momentarily on impact, it was only really meant to act as a "get off me" type of technique. It wasn't meant to leave its target holding their back in pain.

Well far be it from me not to take advantage, Tiki thought as she made her way over to Annie. With fluid, efficient motions, the veteran would try to scoop Annie up in her arms under her neck and leg, lifting her about stomach or chest height into the air as she placed her knee where the redhead had been, underneath where she currently was.

Once Tiki got Annie up, she would pull her arms out from under the farmgirl to begin her descent down. But the greenette wasn't content to just let Annie drop. Tiki would shift her arms from under to over Annie's neck and thigh, and push the powerhouse down onto her knee for a Backbreaker. And if it connected, Tiki would continue to hold Annie bent over her knee, converting slam into submission.
