Kokomi vs Pearl Fortley - Standard match

Kokomi really didn't have time to breathe but fortunately her endurance was above average. That didn't stop her from expressing pain after the camel clutch she suffered, but she had already experienced worse, really worse. She just had to twist from left to right using her legs to make her opponent lose her balance and if she succeeded, she would follow up by throwing herself on the Young Lionness to lay her on her back and catch both legs under her armpit and pull them back for a powerful Boston Crab.

For a moment, Pearl felt a rush of excitement. She’d locked in a hold! She could win! This train of thought was shattered, as she was flung off balance, collapsing the hold. She wasn’t even granted a moment to recuperate, as Kokomi tackled her to the ground, grabbing her legs.

”He-Hey, Wait-Aghh!”Pearl cried out as Kokomi locked in the submission, gripping the canvas tightly. The referee crouched down, asking if she wanted to submit, to which she staunchly refused. She groaned, thinking of any way to escape. She knew she’d have to do so quickly. Time was not her friend.

The mermaid managed to execute her Boston Crab without much difficulty and pulled her opponent's legs back as best she could to inflict quite powerful pain on the Young Lionness's back and show her that she had no chance to break free from this hold, especially if she wasn't a real wrestler. However, Pearl looked confident and refused to give up when asked by the referee and this reaction angered Kokomi even more.

“Know your place, fucking rat!!”

The Japanese woman leaned back even further, lifting Pearl's legs even harder back and higher to make her Boston Crab ever more painful, even if it took a toll on the stability of the hold.

Pearl grit her teeth and let out a small squeal as Kokomi increased the pressure. Her legs were one of her most powerful assets, she couldn’t afford to have them damaged this early on. Fortunately for her, Kokomi’s movement had given her an idea, and an opportunity. She would reach up behind her as Kokomi pulled further in, and attempt to grab her by the midriff, before twisting her shoulders, hopefully throwing Kokomi to the side and releasing the hold. If successful, she’d tail her opponent, and try to intertwine her legs with those of Kokomi, in an effort to lock in a figure 4 leg-lock.

While Kokomi was focused on how to cause greater and greater pain to her opponent, she took the opportunity to free herself by pushing Kokomi who had left an opening and also quickly countered her, blocking the mermaid's thighs in a painful Figure 4 Leglock.

“Aaaaghhh!!”

Kokomi groaned in pain and bit her lower lip to muffle her moan. She glared at her opponent and hit the mast with her hands, Pearl's thighs were obviously more powerful than hers and she couldn't struggle. She was forced to lean forward and use her hands to push the Young Lionness' thighs away.

Pearl bit her lip and grinned a bit. ”Rat, you said?”In truth, she hadn’t taken the insult to heart, half out of interpretation of it as a jest, and half out of ignorance. She wasn’t keen on letting rage or a lust for vindication screw up her first official match. She noticed Kokomi reaching out in an attempt to dislodge her legs, and moved to counter.

“I don’t think so!”She grunted, before moving to catch Kokomi’s hands with her own. I.m. All reality there was likely a more efficient or skillful way to achieve this goal, but Pearl didn’t have this in mind at the moment.

“Aaaaaah!...Shit!..”

The mermaid continued to moan in pain, her legs hurt terribly in this position and her arms did not manage to push the Young Lioness's thighs away before being caught. She had to think of a way out using her head but the pain prevented her from thinking effectively. No choice, she was forced to use a technique that was a bit crude but would be effective in any case.

She squeezed her opponent's wrists and pulled Pearl towards her, aiming to headbutt her hoping that this blow would be hard enough to stun Pearl so that she could free her legs but also that her head would be hard enough not to be stunned too.

Seemingly, things were looking up for Pearl. She’d caught Kokomi in a seemingly painful, if a bit unstable, hold, and she was struggling to escape. Pearl bit her lip and attempted to up the pressure, not noticing Kokomi drawing her in.

“Just…Tap…Ou-Aagh!”

Pearl’s speech was cut short as the two wrestler’s heads collided, and she released the hold and scooted away, head spinning a bit. She would attempt to get back to her feet to brace for a follow-up attack, but was certainly a bit dazed. The headbutt was hard, unexpected, and, at least for her, problematic.

Kokomi was not used to headbutting and although her blow was powerful and painful enough that Pearl was able to release her, the mermaid was also stunned by her own blow and took a little time to get up, despite her opponent be the one who took the blow. The two wrestlers got up at about the same time and Kokomi groaned when she saw that she had not managed to get ahead and that her headbutt had also impacted her.

“Grrr…”

She approached the Young Lioness with a serious look and raised her arm to slam her forearm against her opponent's chest, looking to deliver the first blow to regain the advantage, if she succeeded.

Pearl stood up, swaying on her feet a bit. Taking blows in a controlled training environment was one thing. Taking them in earnest was another beast entirely. She’d have prepared a retaliatory attack, a hook, a sweep, something along those lines, but she moved too slowly. She raised her arms to form a defense against Kokomi’s forearm, but moved too slow, and the blow bypassed her defenses, making a loud crack as it impacted with her chest.

”Aagh!”

Pearl cried out as the strike made contact, and stumbled back a couple of steps, clutching the area of impact. Kokomi had taken the initiative, at least for now. If given a moment to recover, Pearl would try to lock up with Kokomi, before twisting her arms and trying to turn her around into a hammer lock. The whole plan spoke of the optimism of an amateur. If, however, she wasn’t given any respite, and Kokomi pressed her advantage, Pearl would likely be unable to react.
