Re: Aarna Mehta vs. Izumi Tachibana
Aarna Mehta had managed to survive in this match and was laying on the mat, panting for breath between groaning softly. Izumi needed a moment herself, which was fortunate for Mehta, because she was in a great deal of pain and needed to recover. That stopped when Tachibana was the first to start getting up, sensing she had a clear advantage.
The Transcendent was being pulled up by her arm and shoulder, wincing as she was brought up, taking deep breaths of air as she kept her eyes on her blue-haired opponent.
And then suddenly, a back fist was driven to the side of Aarna's head, she staggered on her feet, looking like she might collapse at any moment. Balance thrown off. Legs crossing over one another. But Mehta couldn't go down without swinging. And then she would leap into the air, sending an Enziguiri directly towards Tachibana's head before landing on her front and staying there, head completely throbbing right now as she tried to drown out the pain.

Re: Aarna Mehta vs. Izumi Tachibana
Aarna was tough. No denying that. But Izumi was tougher, she had to be, had to believe she was if she wanted any hope of finishing things on top. Forcing the white haired beauty up to her feet Izumi had further rocked her with a back strike! One that Izumi looked to us as the prelude to the end as she watched Aarna stumble, turning and raising her leg in preparation for a finishing round house kick as Aarna stumbled back...
Only as Izumi leapt up she was met with a boot to the face courtesy of Aarna's enziguri! Not expecting the sudden burst of energy Izumi was caught full force by the attack, sent crashing down into the mat and bounce off of it. Landing completely Izumi's face tilted to the side, seemingly out of it just as Aarna was!
Looking between the two downed woman and not knowing exactly what to do the ref would raise their arms, starting a double count on them to se if either would stand before it could force a draw! "ONE!"

Re: Aarna Mehta vs. Izumi Tachibana
Aarna Mehta was on the mat now, but she had at least not gone down without nailing Izumi with a hit of her own! The Transcendent was rocked with the back fist, but still found it in herself to nail that Enziguiri that sent her opponent to the ground next to her. She didn't move, laying there as her mind tried to piece itself together. In agony, her body and head throbbing from the battle she's been through so far.
"FIVE!" yelled the referee. The first number that the Indian girl heard. She shuddered and then placed her hands on the mat, trying to summon her strength.
"SIX!" With effort, Aarna let out a soft cry of pain as she pushed off the mat, her arms trembling.
"SEVEN!" Pushing one knee under her, she would then put the other one there too.
"EIGHT!" Gasping and panting, Aarna shook her head, knowing she had to get up. She started to push up.
"NINE!" Mehta was upright, stumbling on her feet before finally finding her footing and then doubling over, hands on her knees as her body shook. She hoped that Izumi Tachibana didn't make it. That the match was over. That she managed to sneak out a win with an errant kick to the head! She needed it at this point!

Re: Aarna Mehta vs. Izumi Tachibana
Both Izumi and Aarna were dropped down from the back to back strikes the two had hit on one another. Each seemingly out of it from the force of the blows and with the referee count climbing higher and higher it was turning into a nail biter as to who would come out on top of this!
While Aarna struggled and clawed her way back to the standing position over the course of the rapidly ascending count Izumi remained totally still, seemingly out of it completely, the only sign of life being the steady rise and fall of her chest.
Otherwise she looked almost serene with how still she was, even her face wasn't that of someone you'd expect to have been kicked in the jaw, in fact it was almost as if she was meditating...
"NINE!"
As the nine count hit with Aarna on her feet it seemed as though this would be it for Izumi. At least until her eyes snapped open and she pulled her legs up, before thrusting them up and kipping back to her feet just before the referee could finish the ten count! Leaning forward a bit before looking up Izumi would flash a small smile at her opponent. "Very good.." She said with an excited glimmer in her eye as she put her hands back up, ready and even eager to keep this fight going!

Re: Aarna Mehta vs. Izumi Tachibana
Aarna Mehta was standing, thinking that she may well have won this match with Izumi on the mat as she was on her two feet. However, her opponent had kipped up onto her feet, leaving the Transcendent looking stunned. She didn't understand how she had the energy to do that still. Her own body ached and was sore enough that she wasn't sure what kind of agility she still had in her. She took deep breaths, staring at her smiling opponent until her gaze narrowed. She wanted to win. And she'd do what she needed to in order to do it.
The Indian girl normally had plans on plans to come in and get a win. They haven't served her as well as she wanted to yet. And right now, she didn't have much of a plan left now either. She had to think both of them were reaching their breaking point in this match too, so Mehta should just try something different. Break into a new attempt now to try and get her win.
And so this time, instead of trying anything flashy, technical, or thoughtful, Aarna Mehta would do something simple. She reared back her arm and then threw her fist forward, trying to nail Izumi right in her jaw with a thunderous forearm strike! Perhaps the simplest path she could take right now, and one that she hoped would help lead her to victory!

Re: Aarna Mehta vs. Izumi Tachibana
Meditation was a truly wondrous thing for what it could do for someone in dire straights, even if it took some time it was well worth it when you needed it. Case in point Izumi taking almost the full ten count to recollect and find her zen, compartmentalizing the pain she was feeling and getting herself as ready as possible which allowed her to make her rather elegant kip up!
Facing Aarna was a steady and focused gaze in her eyes she saw the uncertainty and maybe even hints of desperation from her opponent. Understandable given the circumstances but Izumi wouldn't allow that to distract her. All that mattered right now was victory. Bracing herself as Mehta swung forward with a forearm strike Izumi took it full on!
Or so it seemed. Turning with the force of the blow Izumi lessened the impact, not by much, but enough to keep from getting knocked off her feet and building up momentum at once as she swung her arm upwards to try and land a counter spinning back fist directly into Aarna's jaw in return to try and take the advantage!

Re: Aarna Mehta vs. Izumi Tachibana
Aarna Mehta swung her forearm and connected hard. The Indian girl slumped forward after, panting once more. Izumi was swinging. It looked like she may go down. That's what she needed right now, as her body was being pushed to its limits already. She needed Tachibana down for longer.
But then Aarna was surprised by another attack, as the Transcendent was caught in the jaw with a spinning back fist! Mehta's body straightened up immediately and she staggered on her feet, trying to find her footing. And then, she abruptly fell onto her back, panting and whimpering softly as she was in a heap. The back fist had nailed her hard and left her already exhausted form completely rattled by the blow. For now, she could do nothing but lay there right now, grimacing in pain.

Re: Aarna Mehta vs. Izumi Tachibana
Things certainly felt like a fever pitch right now. Both Aarna and Izumi were seemingly on their last legs of this match, beating and battering each other until both were seemingly on noodle legs, but this only seemed to motivate Izumi more and more. Launching back at her opponent with a counter forearm smash the blue haired woman watched as Aarna stumbled for a moment before collapsing against the mat almost out of it!
But if this bout had taught Izumi anything at all it was that she could take no chances with Aarna as an opponent so she wouldn't go for a pin, not yet. Instead she bent down, looking to grab hold of both Aarna's wrist and and hair to pull her up to a seated position and then up into a standing, only to shove her head between Izumi's thighs and then grabbing at the Indian girl's thighs, pulling up to lift Aarna upside down while holding both her legs...
Before dropping down! Looking to spike Aarna's skull into the mat with a package piledriver that, if it hit would send a reverb throughout the ring, and in turn, had it landed than this would be where Izumi would hold down Aarna's legs, spreading them out slightly in the process as she held her in a pinfall attempt!

Re: Aarna Mehta vs. Izumi Tachibana
The Transcendent was nearly out of it, laying there in a stupor of pain from the back fist from Izumi. She had tried to stay standing, but her body didn't cooperate. Instead, Aarna simply laid there, panting and whimpering and she attempted to gain her focus.
However, Izumi knew she had to seal the match. And so Mehta was grabbed and pulled in a limp mess up, Aarna's body not helping Tachibana with the process either. And soon, her head was between her foe's thighs and she was being brought up into the air, upside down!
There wasn't anything for the Indian girl to do but remain elevated before the package piledriver drilled her head into the mat! Mehta hit hard and that was it for her. Still folded up by Izumi, she didn't resist at all as Tachibana went for her pinfall!
"ONE!"
"TWO!"
"THREE!"
The match was over. Aarna Mehta had lost again, wracked in pain. She couldn't even realize the match was over as she laid there, folded up in front of the victorious Izumi!

Re: Aarna Mehta vs. Izumi Tachibana
There was the third count, and with it the ringing of the bell that meant Izumi had won the bout for good. Releasing her hold on Aarna's body and allowing her to roll forward on the mat Izumi would lean back panting before smiling softly.
Accepting a hand from the referee Izumi would get back up to her feet, taking her time as she did so before having her arm raised up by the referee, accepting her adulations from the crowd as her hand was raised up!
Taking the moment in for now Izumi would pull her hand free before looking down at Aarna and dropping down to a kneel next to her. "Thank you for a excellent match... you're quite good." Izumi said, rubbing her hand gently on Aarna's back for a moment before standing up and moving to head out of the ring.
Winner by Pinfall: Izumi Tachibana
