Valkyrie Troupe vs Generations - Elimination Tag Match

Even though Chigusa's yakuza kick connected, Ivy managed to tag Tiki in. And this caused the referee to momentarily stop the match. Chigusa stopped herself as she was told to stay at the other team's corner. She watched as Tiki replaced Ivy, and soon, the match resumed.

Knowing that she was in a rather disadvantageous position, Chigusa stepped away from the corner and held her hands out. "Uh, sorry about the kick." Chigusa said to Tiki before she glanced at Ivy. Of course, she wouldn't keep her eyes away from Tiki for long as she would close in to her, looking to fight her despite her disadvantage.

Chigusa planned to meet Tiki head on, locking up with her from the front. Megumi was at the opposite corner, too far to be tagged in. And Megumi herself seemed to be itching to join into the action, though for now, she refrained herself.

"I'd tell you to say that to the woman behind you, but I understand not wanting to turn your back to me," Tiki said in response to Chigusa's apology.

"Don't worry about it, a fight is a fight, after all," said Ivy, who had gathered her bearings and recovered enough to be relatively confident that she wasn't concussed, or anything else of the sort.

"Let's get started, shall we," said Tiki, prompting Chigusa to come near. With not a ton of room to maneuver, the Wrestle Angel decided to come straight into Tiki, trying to lock up and force her way through. The veteran did hold the advantage in both height and waist, so it would likely prove a difficult attempt for Chigusa unless she had a trick up her sleeve.

As for what Tiki would do, she'd keep it simple. Try to use her size advantage to bully Chigusa into the corner until her back was against the post. Then the veteran would keep pushing, trying to sandwich the Japanese woman between her body and the corner post, possibly even bending Chigusa's back over it if she could really overpower the smaller woman. "Um, Tiki," Ivy would say if this worked, as she would be standing right next to the two outside the ring. "Should I be doing something? I feel like I should be doing something right now other than standing here."

"Thanks, but your fine," Tiki answered. "Don't worry about jumping back in right away, I can take of things."

As the two of them locked up with each other, Chigusa was pushed back by Tiki, and soon enough, Chigusa found herself being sandwiched between Tiki's body and the turnbuckle. Knowing that she was in quite a disadvantage, she would figure out a way to get herself out of this predicament.

And there was something that she wanted to do here as she was pressed against the turnbuckle. As her back was bent against the corner, Chigusa let out a grunt as she would attempt to kick at Tiki's shin, trying to hit it at least three times. Hoping that it could distract the green-haired woman, she would then try to slip to the side, looking to get herself out from being sandwiched between her opponent and the turnbuckle.

As Tiki had been expecting, she was able to use her sheer size and strength to bully Chigusa while she was trapped in the corner. Pushed up against the turnbuckle with no solid way out, the purple haired wrestler resorted to trying to strike at the greenette's shin with kicks so that she could fight her way out by forcing Tiki's grip to weaken.

Chigusa had a relatively solid plan. Even if it didn't work, it wasn't as if Tiki could push her back even farther, barring the corner of the ring collapsing. The problem with that was because of how Chigusa was pinned back in the corner, she didn't have any room to put real power on her kicks. All the Japanese wrestler could really do kick her foot a short distance straight up into Tiki's leg. The veteran wrestler felt it, but it didn't really disrupt her.

So with Tiki undeterred from her forward press, she was ready to employ a response when Chigusa tried to slip herself out of the corner. Tiki gave her smaller opponent a little bit of leeway, but only so that she could get Chigusa between herself and the ropes, rather than the turnbuckle. Once Chigusa had moved into the position that she wanted, the veteran would turn and throw her body into the purplette to stop and trap Chigusa against the ropes, a position which Tiki planned to use to wrap an arm around the Japanese wrestler for a Headlock.

If Tiki was able to secure that, then she would use the tension that she had set into the ropes from pressing into Chigusa to bounce off and set into a running start for a Bulldog that would slam the smaller woman face first into the mat. Then Tiki would quickly get up and try to throw herself butt first onto Chigusa's back so that she could transition into a Camel Clutch

Ivy would look on in awe if Tiki succeeded, witnessing first hand from a mere arm's reach distance the level of mental prowess that her mentor was capable of fighting at. Forcing Chigusa into a no-win scenario by making her choose between getting bent over backwards against the turnbuckle, or making a risky, low-odds attempt at getting loose, and then having prepared the exact method with which she would exploit that choice. The rookie also admired how Tiki made use of the ring itself, simultaneously using it to restrict Chigusa's movement while bolstering her own to facilitate her attack. "She truly is a genius," she muttered to nobody in particular.

Despite her effort, it didn't look like Chigusa was going to succeed in her attempt to free herself from being trapped by Tiki. Hoping to slip herself out of the corner, Chigusa was then suddenly caught by Tiki, who wrapped her head in a headlock!

"Ngghhh!!" Chigusa grunted as she was captured again by her opponent. This time, it looked like Tiki was planning something to inflict damage on her, and sure enough, the bigger green-haired woman then proceeded to press her against the ropes before pulling her away, running with her still in the headlock. Then, she brought her down with a bulldog!

"AUGHH!!"

Landing face-first onto the mat, Chigusa was left disoriented, and this gave Tiki an opportunity to place herself on her back, planting her butt there before she subjected her to a camel clutch. "Nnngghhhh... AAHHHH!!!" Chigusa cried out as her head was wrenched back in the submission hold.

Tiki set herself up for success and then executed. The same as she had been doing to win for nigh four decades now. She put Chigusa into a situation where any choice the smaller wrestler could make had an answer from Tiki that would extend the veteran's advantage. And for her efforts, Tiki was rewarded with a head-rattling slam and a submission hold on Chigusa.

Ivy, seeing opportunity, shot her hand into the ring. "Tag me so we can finish her off," she said.

Tiki didn't extend her hand back, not right away. "Are you sure you're okay," she said, concerned over the recent blow to the head her protégé had taken.

"Yes! Now please," Ivy pleaded, tensing her arm as she tried to call Tiki towards her.

This time Tiki would answer Ivy's call, momentarily removing one hand from Chigusa's neck before re-grabbing it. "I'll prepare your throne for you while you come in," said the veteran, clearly signaling to her partner which team attack she wished to go for. So as Ivy was climbing through the ropes, Tiki would release her Camel Clutch, moving her hands back to grab and control Chigusa's legs as she stood up. The veteran would then wrap the Lightweight's legs around her own before bending down to grab Chigusa's arms. If Tiki got this position, then she would roll onto her back and lift Chigusa into a Ceiling hold. With that, Ivy's stage would be set.

Ivy's part in this combo hold was comically simple; she sat down on Chigusa's stomach, and that was it. Ivy's Throne was completed with naught more but that. Yet for its simplicity, it was quite the effective addition. As Tiki's Ceiling Hold pushed Chigusa's body upwards, Ivy's weight would push it back down, putting an intense pressure down onto the Japanese wrestler's lungs and ribcage.

"Let's finish her off quickly, shall we Tiki," Ivy said as she settled one hand over Chigusa's thigh, and her other just underneath Chigusa's bust. The Snow Rose would then begin pushing down, further bending the Lightweight's spine to further amplify the strength and damage of her mentors submission hold. The rookie-veteran duo wouldn't have forever before either the referee or Megumi decided that they had had enough time in the ring together, so Ivy wanted to try eliminating Chigusa as quickly as could be done so that she wouldn't have to clean up any scraps afterwards.

Chigusa closed her eyes tightly, trying to endure the pain from the camel clutch. She was well-known for her resilience, and she wasn't about to start submitting in this match. Still, the pain was excruciating, and the looks on her face indicated that she was having a bad time. Soon, Chigusa was released from the hold, though Tiki was planning to set her up for another move.

Sure enough, Tiki then placed Chigusa into a ceiling hold, with her own partner, Ivy, sitting on her stomach. The pain from being held in the hold as well as the weight of Ivy caused Chigusa to cry out in pain. "NGYAAHHHHH!!!" With her body on display, things didn't look too good for the former Wrestle Angel, and she knew that if she did nothing, she would be forced to tap out.

As for Megumi, she knew that she needed to intervene somehow. Tightening her jaw, Megumi jumped over the ropes and made her way towards where Tiki and Ivy were as they subjected Chigusa to the torture. Running towards them, Megumi would use her momentum to deliver her attack, which was a baseball slide targeting Tiki who was currently hoisting Chigusa up, looking to hit with with both her feet.

Tiki and Ivy hoped that Chigusa's screams wouldn't pull Megumi into the ring to interfere, but neither were surprised when she did. "It's on you, Ivy," Tiki said as she watched the larger of the two Valkyries close in on them while all of her limbs were currently occupied with locking Chigusa in a ceiling old.

"Of course," Ivy said as she narrowed her eyes in on Megumi. The rookie could either get off of Chigusa's stomach and fight the intruder head on, or she could try to stay on top of her fellow purple-haired wrestler and make a 50/50 guess as to who Megumi was going to try to attack in hopes that she could fend her off while also maintaining her throne.

Ivy knew that she couldn't leave Tiki out to dry and not come to regret it. She also knew that she had to go for the 50/50 if Generations wanted to have a chance at getting Chigusa with their current attack. If Ivy just got off and fought with Megumi, then the ref would force Tiki to release her hold since she would be the only one attacking the Lightweight in that moment while Ivy was the wrestler who was actually tagged in. But if Ivy could pop Megumi, then go straight back to attacking Chigusa, than it could be made to work.

Once Megumi got close, but before she had committed to her attack, Ivy leaped forwards off of Chigusa and entered into a Double Knee Drop aimed at an empty spot on the mat in anticipation that Megumi would be there by the time the rookie got down there. And to both Ivy's and Tiki's delight, Megumi broke into a slide as Ivy launched, and the English purplette caught the Japanese brunette in the stomach.

After connecting, Ivy sprung up and turned back towards Chigusa, practically tore her out of Tiki's hold before the ref could decide that the veteran had to release the Wrestle Angel on her own, and then threw Chigusa down onto her back. After that, the rookie immediately jumped on top of Chigusa and tried to cover for a pin, hoping that she could earn a three count before anybody could do anything about it. For Tiki's part, she'd try to roll towards Megumi and grab her by the ankle to slow her down in case she was still able to get up and try to disrupt Ivy's pin.

Megumi tried to stop both Ivy and Tiki by trying to execute a baseball slide, but they were able to see that one coming as Ivy jumped and landed on her stomach, stopping her in her track.

"URKHH!!"

Now stopped, Megumi groaned as she was laid out on the mat. Meanwhile, Chigusa was freed from the hold that she had been subjected into, and it looked like Ivy was going for a pin. As for Tiki, she went after Megumi, grabbing her ankle to prevent her from disrupting the pinfall attempt.

Ivy got herself on top of Chigusa for the pin, and the referee came to start counting.

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

Still, Chigusa refused to stay still as she kicked out after two. Groaning, she would try to shove Ivy off of her so that she could recover and regain her bearing. For the time being, things didn't look too good for Valkyrie Troupe.

"Damn," Ivy spat as her pin was broken just before it would've eliminated Chigusa. The referee ordered Tiki and Megumi out of the ring, putting an end to this round of team attacks and interference. Leaving it just to Ivy and Chigusa.

"Don't sweat it Ivy, you got this," said Tiki as she ducked back under the ropes.

"Of course," Ivy replied. "I will get the job done." Feeling a surge of confidence from how well she and Tiki were doing, Ivy went to make her next move. With both her and Chigusa on the ground from the pin attempt, the Englishwoman would try to keep it simple. She'd push herself behind the Japanese woman's head and try to lock her into a Figure Four Headscissors.

They were somewhat close to the ropes, so even as Ivy held Chigusa between her legs, the Englishwoman would start trying to crawl and pull herself and her opponent towards the center of the ring with her elbows in an attempt to prevent Chigusa from being able to reach for a tag or a break. Then once they were in the center, Ivy would squeeze with all she had.
