Peyton Jackson vs Daniel Haines!

Dan hadn't been called up for an actual match in a long time. He had been training his clients like crazy and making them as ring-ready as they could be so being called in for a standard match was all right. When he found out he was facing off against another guy he was cool with that too. Part of him couldn't help but feel a twinge of guilt when he did land offense against a lady. He got over that in training but actual matches it was still something he had to work on.

Dan was wearing his blue, white and gold briefs, boots as well as kneepads as he was about to enter the arena. As his music played he came out and held a fist in the air, leading down to pound the ground before walking out confidently down the ramp. "Standing at 5'10'' weighing in at 227 pounds originally from San Diego, California......... Daniel Haines!"

Danny made his way to the ring and climbed up onto the apron before climbing through the ropes, holding his fist in the air and pointing to the crowd as he smiled and nodded. As he settled in the middle of the ring he gave a small head nod to Peyton and extended his hand for a handshake before the opening bell. "All right, lets have us a good match yeah?"

Dan smiled and nodded to Peyton. He was smaller for sure but lean. He looked like he could really move. Dan was no slouch in agility and speed but it wasn't his biggest asset by any means. Dan backed off and stretched as the bell rang! Dan would circle for a moment before lunging in trying to grapple with Peyton. He wanted to keep the guy close and make sure he couldn't run all over or even worse fly off the top!

Dan was hoping to keep it simple at first, wanting to get hold of Peyton before transitioning to a side headlock to squeeze away at his head! If he could be so lucky he would then hip toss Peyton to the mat as hard as he could to start off on the right foot. At least all that was his plan, now he had to execute it without Peyton throwing a wrench into that plan.

Well this wasn't starting at all as Dan planned. The hit to his chest surprised him and now he was being dragged which was quite a surprise to him! Dan shook his head as Peyton began jumping about and when he leapt Dan knew he could only pull back and resist so much as he was sent flying crashing to the mat and rolling. Right now the most he could do was stop the roll in a good position for him to get back to his feet. He would try to be quick enough to recover and rush Peyton for a clothesline, but Peyton had already proven to be so light on his feet that he may already be on the move.

Danny bounced off the ropes and ran back as Peyton flew right into him crashing into the bigger man! Unfortunately for Peyton, Danny didn't fall down to the mat. Instead he reached out and grabbed the smaller male and lift him up, spinning and then power slamming Peyton down to the canvas! Dan knew that move, as it was a favorite of his aunts when he used to watch her. Growing up as the nephew of "Amazon" Alaina Sanders-Haines coupled with training quite a few of the women on the roster in strength training had its advantages. Danny knew how to use his power, and his own agility was a bit better than his size suggested.

Catching and slamming Peyton was just what he needed to build momentum or so he had hoped provided his powerslam counter hit hard enough.

Dan's counter worked and he wasn't going to standby idly to give his opponent breathing room. Dan stoup and pulled Peyton up with him, grabbing hold and lifting him high, spinning around before stepping forward to send Peyton crashing down back first across his knee for a back breaker! Dan knew Irelia would be watching and he wanted to impress his more accomplished wrestling fiancé here tonight. Dan put all his power into this deciding on working over the lower back of his opponent.

Dan was up and moving back in when a kick staggered him! He stumbled back a few steps and when Peyton came in again with the same move Dan raised his arms up to block. His arms were free, but Dan could now try to kick back as well attempting to lunge forward while raising his own leg uo for a big boot to the face! However he was also well aware of the fact that Peyton could potentially dodge this leaving Dan in a bad spot...

Dan was in total shock as his foot was grabbed and from there the smaller Peyton was lifting him up sending him crashing down to the mat with a powerbomb! Dan crashed to the mat and howled in pain as he writhed on the canvas clearly hurting after that surprise counter! He was in a very bad spot and worst of all there was very little he could do about it at this moment. The smaller speedy wrestler was now in control with Dan on the back foot, having lost his momentum in a sudden painful way.

Danny was still hurting from that counter and he would find himself being treated like a punching bag! He raised his arms up to cover as best he could and he did manage to stay standing throughout all of the barrage until the lariat by the smaller man floored him sending him painfully down to the mat! He groaned and kicked in pain rubbing his chest while he slowly shook his head not able to believe what was going on in the match as he laid there stunned.

Danny was down and wide open as Peyton came crashing down painfully on top of him! Danny groaned as Peyton seemingly had him with the bigger man motionless underneath as the referee counted the pin.

"TWO!"

Danny suddenly howled and bucked his hips while thrusting his arm up and torso to the side breaking the pin as forcefully as he could! He was still in it but he was in a very bad way as all he could do after keeping the match going was breathe heavily while rolling towards the ropes trying to grab hold to use them to assist in his slow rise back to his feet.

Well things were certainly going from bad to worse in a hurry. Danny was staggering up when he dodged what ended up not being an attack at all, with the bigger man out of place as Peyton had him lined up for his attack. Danny wasn't able to get his footing underneath to try to catch him and he couldn't move so he got hammered falling back hard from the impact landing on the mat in quite a bit of pain! Things were off to a rocky start for sure...
